The environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

Exceeded all my expectations of a boutique homestay with only six rooms . Ultra luxury linens and beddings , ,Panasonic view of sea clouds at the confer of your bath tub , tasteful contemporary chinese interiors , and to top it all , run by a simple humble couple who goes to ends to make your stay a comfortable one . When you stay for 3 nights or more , they cook up a storm of local delicacies for your dinner , on top of daily breakfast! Do be prepared breakfasts are local style . Bit there’s a great cafe nearby service Arabica yunna beans and it’s become one of my fave ! Def great value for money !

Alles ohne Zweifel zahlt fünf Punkte 😁 Das Hotel ist vollkommen in meiner Estetik, ein einfaches und künstlerisches Hallenhaus, ein großzügiges, warmes und sehr benutzerfreundliches Zimmer, eine offene Terrasse und einen warmen, umgehenden Service, die uns im Grunde nicht auswählen können, wenn Sie eine wählen müssen, Das ist das Zimmer, das nicht mit dem Spiegel an der Erde versehen ist. 1. Die Lage ist sehr gut, gerade unter dem Landschaftsberg, die Landschaft ist wunderschön, der Oxygengehalt ist hoch, die Sichtfelder sind offen und es ist auch sehr bequem, in die Stadt zu essen und sehr geeignet, mit Baby und älteren Menschen zu Urlaub zu kommen. 2, Hotel ist groß! Mit komplettem Satz, sauber und sauber. Es gibt einen unbegrenzten Pool, ein Außenpool, ein Fitnessraum, ein großzügiges und elegantes Schlafzimmer, ein medizinisches Zentrum, ein Fitnessraum und eine Duft-Therapie... Und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hochwertig, kommunizieren sehr komfortabel und sehr nett. Wir haben drei Nächte gelebt und wollen nicht gehen. Wenn die Version von Nazi-Phoebe schnell durchlaufen ist, kommt der Flughafen von Nazi, die Zeit dauert eine halbe Stunde, ich komme wieder. Besonders danke dem Chef Xiao Li, die Nachricht für immer zurückkehren, die Nachfrage lösen, warm und detailliert.

Amazing stay! The house is located just outside the village on a quiet road. The rooms are super clean, well equipped, and have air conditioning, which is important in winter. But beyond the house itself, the real highlight is the owner. We shared several tea-drinking sessions where he explained the secrets of Pu’er tea and Bulang traditions and history. Despite the language barrier (we don’t speak Chinese and he doesn’t speak English), he made a huge effort using translator apps, and communication was easy and fun. He is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, we highly recommend spending time drinking tea with him. He also created a WeChat mini-app with guides and information about the area, which we used a lot and found very helpful. Our stay was unforgettable: the Jingmai mountains were the highlight of our trip to China, and we went home with some amazing Pu’er tea and great memories. Looking forward to coming back!

Außergewöhnlicher Empfang und hervorragende Betreuung. Als französische Gäste gehörten wir zu den ersten, die in dieser Gastfamilie willkommen geheißen wurden. Alles wurde getan, damit wir uns wohlfühlten, und man ging sehr auf unser Feedback ein. Das dazugehörige Restaurant wirkt schlicht, ist aber ausgezeichnet. Wir durften an einer Einführung in die Teezubereitung im Dorf teilnehmen. Perfekt. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Komfort mitten im Dorf.

We had an amazing stay at the Guest House. It's situated a bit down from Wengji village centre : amazing view of the mountains and nights are very calm ! We really appreciated staying in Jingmai mountain region, a more preserved and authentic area, especially after having visited Northern Yunnan where we were sometimes disappointed.... We rented an e-scooter at Mangjing which was very convenient to visit villages and tea forests around. The family is very nice and helpful, we really appreciated discovering all these different teas : green, black, white, etc. And so happy to have bought some home ! Wishing you the best ! Aus der Erwartung!! Die Berge Jingmai sind noch nicht gut entwickelt als Reiseziel (was sie auch originaler und friedlicher macht). Ich habe also nichts wie Xiangongjia erwartet - das Hotel ist gut eingerichtet und mit professionellem Hotelmanagement konzipiert. Der lokale Eigentümer ist auch sehr freundlich und organisierte den Feuertanz an unserer ersten Nacht. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist auch unglaublich - schmackhaft und sauber - ein Niveau, das ich nie erwartet hatte, nur in meinem Hotel und nicht einmal in diesem weniger entwickelten touristischen Ziel - also verbringen wir 2 Nächte hier - so Kontinent, wenn es weniger gefährlich ist während der Nacht Zeit in Berggebiet. Der Manager half mir auch, einen Bday-Kake für meinen Freund zu fertigen und Tee für uns zu machen. Und danke für die Geschichte Ihres und dieses Hotels. Wenn Sie den Haushalt haben, ist das sicherlich Ihre beste Wahl.

All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.

Das Zimmer ist genau wie auf den Fotos, die Landschaft ist sehr schön und es ist super praktisch, den Sonnenuntergang über dem Wolkenmeer zu beobachten. Sehenswert ist auch ein Bienenköniginbaum auf dem alten Dorf. Es gibt genügend heißes Wasser und es ist bequem, ein Bad zu nehmen. Das Dorf liegt 1,7 Kilometer vom antiken Dorf Wengji entfernt und ist sehr bequem zu erreichen. Der Chef ist ein kleiner Bruder, der herzlich und aufrichtig ist und auf alle Wünsche eingeht. Auch die Raumgestaltung ist gut und im Dorf bereits auf einem relativ guten Niveau. Die örtlichen Gegebenheiten sind begrenzt und die Raumschalldämmung durchschnittlich. Die Bodenfliesen im Badezimmer sind durch Wasser rutschig, daher müssen Sie Badepantoffeln tragen. Ich liebe die wunderschöne Landschaft hier. , wäre es perfekt, wenn die Dorfbewohner ihr Hygieneniveau und ihr Umweltbewusstsein verbessern könnten. Es gab Wasserflecken auf dem Badezimmerspiegel und den Tassen, auf dem Toilettensitz waren viele Wassertropfen und der Frühstückstisch war nicht sehr sauber. Lokale Restaurants scheinen ähnliche Hygienestandards zu haben. Aber zum Glück schmeckte das Essen gut und ich hatte kein schlechtes Gewissen. Ich habe auch kleine Verkäufer gesehen, die Müll verstreut haben. Ich hoffe, dass jeder eine so schöne Umgebung schützen kann. Wenn das Essen billiger sein kann, würde ich gerne zwei Wochen hier bleiben.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, und die Leute von Bulang waren überaus freundlich und gastfreundlich. Sie haben sogar Krabbenbeine für uns ausgesucht. Am wichtigsten war aber, dass ihr Essen einfach köstlich war! Ich kann den Krabbenbeineintopf mit Freilandhuhn wärmstens empfehlen – unbedingt einen Tag vorher bestellen! Probieren Sie auch das gebratene Schweinefleisch, das gebratene Schweinefleisch mit Kohl und das gebratene Rindfleisch mit Minze – alles war unglaublich lecker!
