Das Frühstück war gut. Der Eingang zum Hotel ist sehr schön die Zimmer sind gut zum Preis, obwohl im Badezimmer ein Piss geräuchert war. Sie hatten viele Fehler bei der Buchung. Wir hatten einen Monat vorzeitig gebucht, telefonisch bestätigt, bevor wir ankamen, alles kam perfekt. Bis wir ankamen und meine Ehemann und meine Kinder nicht reinlassen. Ich war noch nicht im Hotel, aber ich hatte schon angekündigt, dass ich, der die Buchung gemacht hatte, etwas spät angekommen war. Sowohl die E-Mails als auch die vorherigen Anrufe waren nichts, da ich nicht der Person war, die mir geholfen hat, es gibt nur wenig Kommunikation zwischen den Leuten, die dort arbeiten. Als sie sich behaupten, liefen die Kugeln zwischen ihnen. Dann haben wir das Zimmer gegeben und es scheint, dass 3 Fußballspieler, die auch ihnen gleich geschah, in dem Zimmer jemand gefunden hatten. Wir wurden von einem anderen, aber anstatt drei , doppelt. Wir schliefen sehr schlecht, weil wir 4 in zwei Betten waren. Nach einer 14-Stunden-Reise. Aber niemand konnte uns eine Erklärung oder Lösung geben.

Apart from being a great location close to departmental transport and the hotel including the rooms are very clean the staff are extremely friendly and courteous plus they go out of they way to help - This is are second time stying in the hotel and we would highly recommend it

This hotel is ideally located to walk to the central (shopping) and old historic parts of the city. It is also a short walk from the coastal ”rambla”cycle and promenade. Reasonably priced restaurant / bar and breakfast service - comes with 22% discount if you pay with a non-Uruguayan credit card (as do all restaurant in Uruguay). We had nice big room on an upper floor with views over the Rio de la Plata and the sunset (but only top floor rooms have balcony - you can access the rooftop terrace but there is not much there other than the view). Reception very helpful in organizing visits, taxis and bike hire (these are available on site). Only slight criticism was location of air conditioning in large rooms meant we didn't benefit from it in the sleeping area and, during a very hot spell, this was a problem. Would recommend staying here.

Hotel em excelente localização e com ótima infraestrutura. Café da manhã muito bom, bem como limpeza do quarto, serviço da camareira e o atendimento dos funcionários. Aliás, vale a pena se hospedar em London Palace pela prestatividade de seus colaboradores que vai desde os atendentes da recepção até a educada senhora que a noite aqueceu minha janta. Somado a isso, o fato da garagem ser no próprio hotel e termos acesso ao carro de forma.rapida e fácil, inclusive na chegada que já podemos colocar direto na garagem e fazer o check in. Hotel nota 10.

I stayed 3 nights in the so called double standard room. My room was on the 6th floor overlooking the street. I enjoyed my stay at Own Montevideo. The room had a nice modern setup with a plenty of storage space, switches/power outlets in all the right places, many lighting fixtures. I could open windows and get a fresh air. The A/C worked fine. Wi-Fi was fine as well. The bathroom was of a decent size, with the separation between the sink and the toilet/shower. There was a window next to the bathroom sink, with a plenty of light coming in. Everything was in decent shape and looked clean. I found the small shelf was missing in the shower but it didn’t bother me much. Noise level was average. Nothing super loud that bothered me. The breakfast was adequate, with friendly personnel. One thing to know is that you have to specifically ask for coffee/tea and it will be brought to you. Everyone from the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located. I walked to Pocitos/Montevideo sign and back. Everything is a short Uber ride away, with a plenty of Uber cars available. Uber ride to Buquebus terminal for direct ferry to BA at the morning took around 15 minutes. If you arrive at MVD airport without a lot of luggage, you can take DM1 bus at the front of the terminal (84 pesos as of November 2022), get off at the last stop and walk ahead for 2 minutes and you are right there at the hotel door. Very convenient. All in all, everything was good, as it seems like everything else in Montevideo. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and am giving it 5 stars review. I certainly recommend it.

Neue Einrichtungen, bequemer Transport, gute Umgebung, nahe dem Stadtzentrum, gute sanitäre Bedingungen, sauber und ordentlich, guter Service an der Rezeption, herzlicher Empfang

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, direkt am Rande der Lambra Straße, die Gesundheit ist gut, die Einrichtungen im Allgemeinen

Die Lage und die Umgebung sind sehr gut, Geschäftsreisen oder Urlaub sind ziemlich geeignet. Nachdem Sie nach Monterrey gehen, wählen Sie dieses Hotel aus. Die benachbarten Einrichtungen sind auch sehr komplett und empfehlen Sie es allen

Große Zimmer mit großen Fenstern, ausgezeichnete Aufmerksamkeit, sehr gut gelegen ( auf einer Stätte des Shops Punta Wagen und 4/5 Quadrats des Flusses. und großes Frühstück. Der Eingang zum Parkplatz ist ein wenig unbehaglich und es gibt keinen Platz für alle Gäste.

The property was very conveniently located. It had a beautiful old-style, wrought iron elevator and a small but nice rooftop patio. The room also had some nice old-timey touches like the crown molding. The bathroom was a good size (compared to others we encountered on our SA adventures) and the shower had excellent water pressure. The receptionist who greeted us provided a map and lots of helpful advice about sights nearby. My friend enjoyed the coffee available near reception each morning. BUT, while beautiful, the elevator was ultimately very slow and sometimes didn't come at all. The furniture in the room showed some wear. While it fit with the antique-y theme, I probably would have removed some of it at that stage of dilapidation. Our room's bathroom when we arrived wasn't fully clean (there was hair on the floor and in the shower), and the waste basket's pedal opening mechanism was broken so it was awkward to use. We removed the wastebasket's top to make it easier for us (and hoping the whole thing would be replaced by housekeeping) but they just set the top back on (broken) in its inconvenient state again. And not the hotel's fault, but the entire 1.5 days we were visiting, one couple monopolized the rooftop deck - they and their belongings were spread out there every time we checked - so we didn't feel like we were welcome to use it.
