My husband and I stayed three nights at this beautiful motel in the Montauk Harbor area. The room was very clean, and the service was excellent. I especially loved the vibrant flower beds, charming potted plants, and the overall neighborhood vibe. The location was ideal—just a short walk to Montauk Cycle Company for bike rentals and Viking Fleet for whale watching. We also enjoyed some fantastic nearby spots, like Goldman’s Deli for breakfast, and Salivar’s and Star Island Grill for dinnig with harbor views. We’ll definitely consider coming back!

Best place to stay in Montauk for a real Montauk experience. Low key, clean, friendly with a great location and reasonable prices. We can walk to many restaurants and the whole area is quieter than right in town. There are BBQ grills and tables, tennis courts and a pool. The beaches on the sound are great for swimming because the water is calmer and its a short walk to incredible sunsets.

We love staying here . It’s close to everything we enjoy to see also, it is a clean and comfortable setting. Very friendly, enjoyable staff. Not modernized, which we do enjoy. It’s like a mom and pop hotel that’s well cared for. Our second year booking here and plan to return next year !

First and foremost the property is perfectly located in Montauk and provide an ambiance of a New England Inn. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are spacious and clean. All the amenities that are needed to secure a peaceful stay are available. Management went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and I highly recommend the Harborside Motel for all future stays.

My wife and I stayed here 9/15:9/17. Rooms very basic but clean. Plenty of a/c and hot water Great housekeeping staff. Manager at checkin got us quickly situated. Property very quiet in evening. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend. Enjoy the trip

Harborside is a hidden gem! Merle is so kind and the property is wonderful. The rooms were clean and the pool was an added bonus. It's located close to the restaurants and just a short ride away from the main part of town. I can't wait to come back!

The Harborside Motel is in the best location outside of town. You can walk to great restaurants, bars, music, the harbor and a beach. Barbecue and picnic tables for great large group parties. Clean rooms, great staff and a friendly Montauk vibe!

Very clean and wonderful staff. Reasonably priced. Merril was a delight. Guests were very friendly…. not that pretentious feel of everyone feels they are oh so special and entitled (which is the new attitude today). I have been coming to Montauk my entire life and this hotel brought back many old fashioned good memories.

The owner Merle was a pleasure. Rooms are very clean and the pool is spotless. It is walking distance to all the fishing boats and gosmans. With plenty of restaurants around if your looking for a low key experience in montauk to step away from all the night life when you just want some quiet. Price is very reasonable.
