PARKUNG: Kostenlose Parkplätze in einer Verriegelungsgarage; privat und sehr sicher, mit Aufzug direkt mit dem Hotel verbunden. Zimmer (Ober): Geräuschlich, Modern, sehr sauber, sehr komfortable Bett, Gemütliches Leinen, Zustand der Kunst Dusche, Entspannung am besten! BROCHE: Gespürt für Wahl, alles frisch und lecker. Frühstücksbuffet 'a la grande'! WASSERMASCHINE AM JEDEN GLOSS: Leere Flaschen für kostenlose Kälte oder Raumtemperatur Natur- und Sparkling Wasser HOTEL RESTAURANT: Wir hatten ein Abendessen. Eine begrenzte Wahl, aber das Essen wurde perfekt gekocht, gut vorgestellt und wir liebten es. Sehr vernünftig preisgekrönt. STAFF: Polizist, höflich, professionell und immer mit einem Lächeln. Ich empfehle Modica Boutique Hotel, besonders für diejenigen, die mit dem Fähren nach Pozzallo reisen, da es nur 20 Minuten Fahrt ist. Das wird Sie nicht bedauern. Wir besuchten das Modica Palace Hotel letzter Sommer zuerst und liebten es so sehr, dass wir uns beschlossen, zurückzukehren. Sobald wir feststellten, dass sich die Dinge dramatisch verändert hatten. Wir waren alt, das Hotel hatte sich die Hände verändert. Skeleton-Personal, Abendessen, das üblich war, aber jetzt auf einem Satz Menü, das nie so ändert für uns mit der Hälfte des Board würde das gleiche essen für eine Woche bedeuten. Das Personal versuchte zu helfen, aber wir genossen nicht überhaupt. Es gab nur 4 Personen, die jeden Abend im Restaurant essen, während es im letzten Jahr immer voll war und trotzdem warten wir Stunden auf die servierbaren. Mehr als einmal kam unser Essen nicht wie bestellt und wir sandten es zurück. Am letzten Abend bestellte ich einen guten Bier und erhielt es selten, an welchem Punkt wir gerade auf- und abstiegen. Es ist offensichtlich, dass es Probleme auf Managementebene gibt, Kostensenkungen sind die eine ausstehend, aber was nicht akzeptabel war das Verhalten des Managers. Als wir um eine Erstattung für unser Essen baten, wurde er wütend und sein Verhalten war ziemlich aggressiv, er sagte uns, es gab keine Probleme mit dem Hotel und die Bewertungen waren gut. Er war nicht daran interessiert, unsere Rückmeldungen zu hören, und er ging gerade, während wir reden und schlug uns die Tür. Wenn ich der Besitzer dieses Geschäftes wäre, würde ich mich Sorgen machen. Ein guter Manager versucht immer, Kunden zu beherbergen und zu hören, ihre Fragen sogar auf sie zu handeln, so dass die Kunden tatsächlich zurück gehen. Ich habe dieses Hotel für so viele Menschen empfohlen, aber das wird nicht mehr tun und wird definitiv nicht zurück. Es ist so schämlich.

Edel Emotional Domus Et Luxury Hotel (what a mouthful) is an all round excellent place to stay in Modica. It’s located overlooking the hills and a twenty minute walk from the station. My room was large with a small balcony and a fridge stocked with soft drinks. I used the coffee machine in the kitchen on a couple of occasions and enjoyed a relaxing soak in one of their jacuzzis. Overall, the hotel was excellent value for money for what you get. I really enjoyed my stay and would certainly recommend Edel to anybody visiting the town. I only wish I had managed to book the Library Room. One small negative addition at the end of a five star review. It’s a pity breakfast couldn’t be provided at the hotel. A voucher was provided, although this only let me get a coffee and a croissant and I had to pay for my cream cake! As I had paid for two people perhaps I should have been given two vouchers. But never mind! This is only a speck on what is otherwise an amazing review of such a wonderful hotel.

La struttura si trova in aperta campagna fuori dai centri abitati. Accoglienza e servizio di buon livello. Gentili e premurosi per tutte le richieste. La nostra camera era una Junior suite. Onestamente mi aspettavo di meglio. Soggiorno e bagno al piano terreno e camera da letto sopra. Di notte è un problema andare in bagno o prendere qualcosa dal frigo perchè bisogna scendere le scale. Arredamento in arte povera, anche lì mi aspettavo di meglio. Per il resto tutto molto bene, piscina, bar, servizio e atmosfera. Sicuramente ritorneremo ma chiederemo una camera in un unico piano con tutti i servizi vicini.
