Insgesamt ist ein guter Ort zum Aufenthalt. Wie andere Bewertungen gesagt haben, ist die Dekor etwas datiert, aber perfekt annehmbar, und die Wohnung war so sauber wie man es hoffen würde. Ende Juni war unerwartet ruhig, aber in guter Weise. Bus nach Mahon laufen Stundenlang vom Fußboden der Straße (5 Minuten zu Fuß) und ist Euro 1.80 jede Straße. Viele Platz zum Parken, wenn Sie ein Auto mieten. Einige große Restaurants in der Stadt (recommend Casa Fermin) und ein großer Strand. Nur geringfügige Frage war die Luft-Con war nicht groß, aber hey ... es ist 32 Grad im Juni im Med ... so wussten wir, was zu erwarten. Breeze durch die Wohnung erkühlte es am Tag, nur ein wenig warm über Nacht. Ich würde definitiv zurückgehen.

Ich war sehr angenehm überrascht von der Unterkunft, es war sauber und großartig Lage und in den Wochen Aufenthalt hatten wir Handtücher und Bettwäsche ändern 3 mal, was sehr geschätzt wurde. Die Lage war ein wenig laut bis etwa Mitternacht, wahrscheinlich wäre nicht ein Problem für die meisten Menschen, aber mit einem jungen Kind waren wir am 9. Uhr am meisten Abend im Bett, Glücklich mein kleiner schlief brillant und nach der ersten Nacht habe ich gerade meine Kopfhörer als Ohrenschleifen und hatte jeden Abend eine tolle Nacht Schlaf. Bei Geräusch ....Die Wände sind sehr dünn und Geräusch reist. Am ersten Tag hatten wir einen sehr lauten Nachbarn, die während ihrer Liebezeiten ein wenig laut waren, etwas schrecklich und nur etwas zu wissen, ob Sie als Paar gehen! Das Pool-Bereich war groß, perfekt für ein wenig, da es sehr schlank ist und wir hatten das Gebiet jeden Tag für uns alle, auch kostenloses WLAN in diesem Bereich für Gäste. Die Betten waren viel größer als die Standard-Einzelperson, die Sie normalerweise erhalten, würde ich sagen 3/4 Größe und komfortabel. Ja die Zimmer waren ein wenig datiert, aber für den Preis für besser als ich erwartet hatte. Vollständig funktional und sauber. Es gab einen Deckenfans und ein kleiner elektrischer Heizgerät, das den Raum wirklich erhitzt. Auch in 43+ Grad war der Raum angenehmen cool. Gut Größe Kühlschrank, nur warme Platten und Mikrowelle aber für die Küche, aber schöne lokale Restaurants buchstäblich 30 Sekunden entfernt. Schönes angenehmes Personal, wirklich freundlich und hilfsbereit Fühlte sich sehr sicher und willkommen in diesem schönen Ecken von Minorca

Großes Hotel. Wir hatten ein überlegenes Meerblickzimmer, das einen spektakulären Blick auf den Mahon Hafen hatte, gut wert die zusätzlichen Kosten. Sehr sauber, komfortabeles Bett und geräumiges Zimmer. Die Lage ist erstaunlich, das Personal ausgezeichnet, nichts ist zu viel Problem. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren großartig. Ich würde nicht zögern zu empfehlen und wir werden hoffentlich bald wieder besuchen.

We have just returned from two glorious weeks at this lovely hotel. We had a beautiful room overlooking the start of the estuary and the Isle de Rei. The morning sunrise was just fabulous! I had read before my visit that although the walk-in showers had been completed, the rooms themselves needed a refurbish. Well the bathroom is lovely. You have shampoo, bath wash and gorgeous body milk. Beautiful shower area. Such a delight! Yes, the rooms are looking well worn, but my only criticism would be lack of drawer space. If you are staying for two weeks it can be tricky to keep your clothes ‘tidy’ all piled up in the wardrobe. The hotel is blessed with the most wonderful happy staff! Thank you to all we met who enhanced our stay with their positive attitude. Special mention has to go though to Harold at the bar. A true professional! His cocktails never disappointed ! The food in the dining room was really good when we arrived. Lots of choice and of a very good quality. Towards the end of our stay, when numbers dwindled, there was still a great display of Menorcan foods, meats and cheeses. The soup was divine, and the different breads just lovely. Salads were plentiful and varied, and the puddings were scrumptious! There was still always something tasty and different to choose every evening. The chefs were continually checking the food and replacing it when necessary. Cleo and Alexander were great hosts. There was low key entertainment twice a week. Good singers, and we particularly loved the jazz trio on the last evening. They put their own take on many popular songs and did it very well. Es Castell is full of history, and we enjoyed visiting Mahon. You can either walk for about 15 to 20 mins, or catch a bus into the station. From here you can use the buses to visit other places very easily. Or walk down into the town and take in all the sights! There is a fish market and attached to it an area which does tapas and all different kinds fishy snacks. On our last Saturday there was music and it made for a lovely atmosphere. Would we return to the Agamemon? Certainly we will! The views are a delight, always something different going on.

We have been to Galdana Gardens several times over the years, and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing break. We were fortunate to have a top floor apartment this time and well worth going up the steps for the wonderful view of the bay. The Gardens are superb, and the guys who maintain them are brilliant 👏 Maite on reception is just superb 👌 The cleaning ladies are great 👍 Just great. I will bring up the towel reserving issue as it's a problem. 9am towels down and return at 3pm and even reserving 4 sunbeds for 2 people on either side of the pool... If you can't beat them, join them... which we didn't But hey, hoy. Great place and location.
