The Kinson

It's only two minutes' walk to St Kilda Road and you can take any of the seven trams to the city. Very convenient. The room is very decent in size and the view is nice. The only complaint I have is the ceiling lights are so dim that I couldn't even pack/unpack my luggage in the evening. The bathroom lights are motion triggered and only work when it is dark enough. I had difficulties shaving in the morning. I think it's a design fault.

Very stylish decor and comfortable furnishings in the apartment-hotel. Our room was more hotel room with a kitchen counter than a studio apartment. However the fridge, microwave and sink were adequate for simple meals. Views not great as you look out onto the building next door. Not many shops etc. nearby but tram route around the corner.

Friendly, good services, good facilities, very clean, good amenties .

While the room was spacious and nicely furnished, with a decent kitchen (once the necessary appliances were finally provided), the service was truly unacceptable. The staff was extremely unfriendly, making us feel like second-class guests. We witnessed them openly talking negatively about other customers right in front of us, which was both unprofessional and uncomfortable. Upon arrival, we were left waiting in the lobby for an unreasonable amount of time, even though it was already past the check-in time. Additionally, the bathroom sink was clogged, the room service never showed up despite our requests, and getting basic kitchen items required repeated trips to the front desk. The location was decent, but the poor service completely overshadowed any positives and just gave you a really bad feeling. For a hotel in this category, I expected much better. Until they significantly improve their customer service, I would not recommend staying here.

Good location and friendly staffs. The toilet was not cleaned as expected, and I found a damp used towel inside.
