Three men walked into my room during my stay unannounced while two of my roommates were undressed and hotel management won’t do anything about it!! I rented 9 hotel rooms and a conference room at Hotel Dorado for 30 leaders of my nonprofit org for 4 days. On day 2 of our stay a mysterious man bolted into our room unannounced and saw my roommate completely undressed. Why would someone outside of our party could have access to our room!? We went to hotel managers Joanna and Marco and they won’t do a single thing about it. They tell us it is not a big deal just “a matter of perspective”. Shortly after reporting this, Marco charged into our room with another man behind him completely unannounced, didn’t knock, just opened the door while yet ANOTHER girl was undressing and would not leave the room claiming he is trying to “fix the problem”. Marco and Joanna need to be fired! At this point all the girls in my organization were scared, some were crying, we all felt completely UNSAFE. The management was harassing us. They have camera’s on every floor and when we asked they claim there is no footage of these events (how convenient!!!) so now we are filing suit against them so they can release the footage to us. On top of all of this mental &emotional trauma my girls went through,I spent over $3,000 for hotel rooms, conference room, and hotel catering and the hotel won’t refund us for the services and rooms we didn’t use after the incidents.This would be THE VERY LEAST they can do.

Wir hätten dieses Hotel bei 5* bewertet, aber eine Auscheck-Ausgabe hat den ganzen Aufenthalt für uns vernichtet! Ja, das Zimmer brauchte etwas Aufmerksamkeit - die Dusche griff aus dem Deckel, die Dusche Handtücher kam aus dem Temperaturregler jedes Mal, wenn Sie es eingestellt, der Toilettensitz lief und musste für mich gehalten werden (männlich!),, Das WC selbst war nicht gleichmäßig im Raum zwischen dem Duschebildschirm und der Wand und machte Sie auf dem sitzen unbehaglich, da Sie dann abgeschüttet werden ........Aber keine dieser waren groß und hätte unseren Aufenthalt nicht sehr ernst beeinflusst. Wir genossen das Frühstück und das Personal, im Allgemeinen waren sehr gut und hilfreich Nach dem Abreisen, verließen wir eine 50,000 COP Tipp. Dann, Bei Eintritt in unser Taxi, wurden wir zurückgerufen, um zu sagen, wir brauchen 50.000 COP für eine ”gebrochene Tür Schlüsselkarte” zu zahlen. Die vorangegangene Nacht die Türkarte funktionierte nicht und es wurde zu diesem Zeitpunkt nichts ersetzt. Jetzt offensichtlich hatten wir ”beschädigt” es ich weigerte zu zahlen & sagte, wenn sie das Geld von der 50,000 COP Tipp ich in Hunderten von Hotels mit elektronischen Schlüsselkarten geblieben haben und wenn sie jemals ein Problem hatten, Sie wurden neu programmiert oder ersetzt ohne Frage Ich habe nie diese Situation vor & ich war irritiert & sehr enttäuscht, dass nach einem großen Aufenthalt, so endete es. Wie ich sagte, das wäre wahrscheinlich eine 5* Bewertung .....

This is my second stay at this property. I really enjoyed my first stay and though this could be somewhere that I could book for longer than a week. I booked a double room last time and enjoyed my stay this time I booked a single room but would not return. The single room is a lot smaller than the double and I paid the same price as last time so value for money for this was not so great. View is great, amenities good, no AC and it gets hot in the room. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. The big issue for me on the last 2 nights was a club down the street playing music so loud that I could feel the bass 10 floors up and this went on until 4am. This was Monday and Tuesday night! So hot room as can’t open the window with the music, fan on full, white noise from tv at full volume and ear plugs is not what I’m looking for. I could not return if the bar continues like that. Previous stay no issues, first 5 nights no issues, but this is a big problem for me. I am so thankful I didn’t book the month I was contemplating and left after a week. A double room without the noise at the right price I would return.

Ich habe das Ibis Medellin für 10 Nächte über die ALL Webseite gebucht und Diese zum größten Teil mit angesammelten Rewards Punkten im Voraus bezahlt. Den Rest sollte ich im Hotel zahlen. Allerdings passierte hier, das der Gesamtbetrag über die Kreditkarte abgebucht wurde. Die Dame sagte mir, man volle den Betrag, bzw. die Differenz wieder gutschreiben, was bis zu 10 Tage dauern könne. Auf Nachfragen nach 15 Tage wurde mir sehr kurz und knapp geschrieben, dass es noch in Bearbeitung sei. Einige Tage später wurde mir nicht der Betrag gutgeschrieben, sondern die Punkte. Auf Schreiben und Erinnerungen, das ich damit nicht einverstanden sei, erhielt ich weder vom Hotel, noch vom ALL Kundenservice eine Antwort. Professionell ist so ein Kundenservice in keinster Weise! Bei meinen ca. 120-130 Übernachtungen pro Jahr, fast alle Geschäftlich, war Accor immer an erster Stelle gesetzt. Aber auch andere Hotelketten (IHG oder Marriott) haben schöne Hotels und gute Rewards Programme!!! Das Ibis Medellin ist ein klassisches Ibis. Zimmer sind sauber und habe eine passende Größe. Frühstück entspricht dem südamerikanischen Still. Betten haben unter dem Bettlaken einen Plastikschutz (Unangenehm).

The BINN Hotel was amazing, each member of the staff was attentive, informative and so kind! It was my first time in Medellín. Everyone from the hostess and restaurant staff ( special shoutout to Farid, you were so beautiful and attentive to my mom !!) security running out to offer an umbrella in the rain, front desk giving great local recommendations . We are already planning a return trip !!! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Das Hotelzimmer war schön und Gustavo war sehr hilfreich! Wir waren nicht ein Fan der begrenzten Hotelausstattung im Zimmer, alles musste gekauft werden, und die Bar und der Pool waren während unseres Aufenthalts immer geschlossen (obwohl die Rezeption sagte, es sei offen). Manchmal fühlte es sich wie im Hostel zu bleiben. Es gab Geräusche oberhalb des Baus oder der Bewegung von Möbeln am Morgen. Das Frühstück war extrem teuer, so versuchen Sie es zu bekommen, wenn Sie Ihr Zimmer buchen oder zum Käfig gehen zu essen. Das Hotel war sehr besetzt und schien besonders auf dem Boden PP, wo sie eine Ausstellung mit vielen Menschen und begrenztem Platz hatten.

Schönes Design, sehr neue Anlage. Zimmer sehr sauber, obwohl ein bisschen klein, aber perfekt für einen Nachtaufenthalt. Ausgezeichneter Service und Lage. Frühstücksbereich ist einer der besten in einem Frühstück inbegriffen Preis. Viele Optionen, gute Qualität, die Terrasse war wirklich schön, und der Service bietet einen Plus. Eine insgesamt empfohlene Ort zu bleiben.

This hotel has definitely allowed me to redefine my former thoughts of what is a budget hotel. Whenever I thought “budget hotel,” I always thought of a hotel that was past its prime & a hotel that was dingy, dark, faded & completely 3rd rate. However, this hotel is completely the opposite of those things. To start, the staff at this hotel is genuinely so kind to their guests & they are equally kind & respectful toward each other. The staff is more than efficient at what they do in their professions & this allows the Ibis Budget Itagüí to have such a “feel good” comfortability. The manager here has chosen a wonderful team & your guests thank you very much! I stayed here for 24 nights & I don’t think I’ve ever felt more welcomed in any other hotel before. My room was very comfortable, with cozy linens & pillows. I slept beautifully in the bed each night. There’s a big curtained window in each room, which covers most of the wall, allowing natural sunlight to enter the room. You can’t open the windows, but the Ibis Budget Itagüí hotel is fresh & clean... & even though I do enjoy fresh air in my room, I have not one complaint with this hotel! The TV is great (with several English channel options) & electrical outlets were conveniently located throughout my room. My Internet was so fast & air-conditioning functioned perfectly. The elevators are very quick & I never waited long for one. Breakfast each morning was surprisingly more extensive than I had imagined, with many fresh fruits, omelettes to order, cereals, yogurts, breads, 2 fresh juice choices & delicious Colombian coffee with heated milk was available. The staff working in the restaurant was always so accommodating & friendly. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I get hungry & I could always go downstairs to the hotel lobby, where they have a nice selection of sandwiches & pizzas (which they gladly heated for me). There’s lots of beverage options & chips & chocolates, etc. Security is always present on the street level, as you enter the hotel, & they ensure the security of guests & staff without being intrusive. The security staff is also very polite, but efficient at what they need to do, in order to ensure everyone’s safety. This hotel is spotlessly clean with a phenomenal cleaning staff. Sometimes I would leave my room around dinner time and they would still clean my room spotlessly & they would change the sheets for me whenever I requested. The hotel appears to be a very new & a modern building. I think they just celebrated their 2nd anniversary here. On the street level, located inside this hotel building, is a bakery called Tostao’ Cafe & Pan. Everything there is delicious & all of the pastries are very French! Next-door (still inside & on the street level of the Ibis Budget Itagüí building) is a delicious & comfortable family restaurant called Burrata, which is owned by a husband & wife & their little boy. The food is delicious, with a daily menu of the freshest ingredients & tast

We stayed one week as I am Colombia and my husband is not and was a little shy to stay at my mothers house around the corner. Picked because of the reviews and location. Room was comfortable, although even if you have your dnd they will come in and turnoff the ac. Fridge never refilled. You have to ask for water at reception but beware if the restaurant is closed they will have none. I’ve travelled extensively and both my husband and I work in hotels. This is the first hotel to ever call you every day at 8:55 am to tell you breakfast is about to end, and if you would like your order brought up. I mean someone else might like that, but we hated it!!! I understand the guy thought he was doing a favor and yes maybe 2 days out of the 7 but Jesus! Don’t do that. Shower comfortable however they don’t have conditioner and you must call down for a blow dryer. Bed was comfortable and we were in the largest suite on the top floor. However the ac is placed in a location where when turned on it blows directly at the bed! It’s impossible to sleep like that as you will need it on blast to cool the room since they have turned it off for you and it’s so directly on you that you will get sick. Now I had three things that have gone missing from my room. One of which was a pink purse. Luckily it was a Nine West purse and not one of my very expensive Gucci purses. This I called the reception on the same day as check out to first ask them if I had left it behind, not only were they very defensive about it but also offensive. The receptionist ( gentleman) said oh you sure you didn’t drop it as i seen you leave with so much stuff. And he also said why would you just bring it up now. Mind you I made this call about one hour after checking out. I said to him because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t in my bag. The purse was placed next to my sneakers which were the exact same color. Now you see I would just think that it got tangled up with the sheets, but one thing occurred which made me think something was not right. On one day, I took the end off the door since the waiter brought up our food. We stayed late in bed watching tv and sleeping. Someone opened our door with no knock. I quickly rushed to see who it was and it was the hotel manager. She said ohhh I’m sorry I didn’t know someone was staying in this room I’m so sorry. Now I work in hotels and know two things. The hotel manger always knows when a guest is in their highest paying room, and hotel managers always knock. Also this was through the middle of our stay. They hotel managers office is directly across from our room. They knew. My bag was also opened and a blue adidas body suit was stolen as well as a pair of white stretchy jeans. I only noticed this maybe two or three days ago when I recalled o had packed them and wanted to wear them. My husband and I were going to return to this hotel due to the convenience, however I never received a call back with a resolution as they said they would.

We had a wonderful time staying at Hotel Lagoon. The food at the restaurant was superb and we were never disappointed with any of the menu items. The staff, particularly Carlos and Isabella, were always friendly and always went the extra mile for us whenever we needed anything. We truly enjoyed the newly built outdoor lounge areas next to the pool with the firepit. This was one of the best experiences we had at the hotel and a must if you wish to keep warm on a chilly night. Conveniently located near the airport (MDE) and about a 45-50 min drive into Medellin. There are a lot of places to eat nearby as well as a few shopping centers. Would come back again!
