Arrived for my super-short stay of one night and was greeted first by a great bellboy, who took my bags as I exited my taxi. Juan Carlo waited while I checked in and then escorted me to my room with my bags. I arrived late afternoon for just the short stay, so went only to the beach and walked around there. Very lively and cheerful, with banda music playing for families. I sat at the beach grill, enjoying a sunset, Pacifico and some great food - shrimp ceviche, tortilla soup and guacamole - so amazing. The server, Charlie, was attentive, charming and very fast. The room was quite nice. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed felt great, not too hard. The hotel wasn't noisy, but the street noise was - not the issue of the hotel. We are close to Valentino's Disco and the pulmonias, with music and lights, were constant up and down the street. I, personally, was not disturbed, as it is part of the culture in Mazatlan! Other quick notes - wifi worked great, shower and water pressure was super, A/C was consistent and staff were pleasant. A great choice for my next visit!

I've read some Karen reviews about this place, but after being here a week, I can honestly say I am so sad to go home tomorrow. I am a General Hotel Manager myself, & this place is fantastic. The beds are heaven, the pillows awesome, the restaurant was superb for ALL meals, grounds are immaculate, linen are dazzling white, staff was on point & ALWAYS friendly--American culture is to complain about everything but we loved every minute here. Lots of shopping in walking distance, this place is a slice of heaven. So glad the mother-in-law chose this hotel for the family, we love it!

Die Anschrift des Doubletree by Hilton Mazatlan lautet Av Camaron Sabalo 905, El Encanto Mazatlan. Es befindet sich in der Zona Dorada. Vom internationalen Flughafen Mazatlan ist das Hotel etwa ½ Std. mit dem Auto entfernt. Das Hotel ist an der Hauptstraße zur einen Seite und an der anderen Seite direkt am Strand gelegen. In unmittelbarer Nähe und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen sind mehrere Convenience Stores, Souvenirgeschäfte und ATM. Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos. Die Kreditkarte wird bei Ankunft mit einem Deposit belastet. Die offizielle Check-in-Zeit ist 15:00 Uhr. Um das Gepäck muss man sich selbst kümmern. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, was sehr zu empfehlen ist. Die Zimmer sind behaglich eingerichtet und wirken freundlich und gepflegt. Sie sind recht geräumig. An der Sauberkeit gab es nichts auszusetzen. Die Zimmer verfügen über einen Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Mein Zimmer hatte allerdings einen muffigen Geruch, der während meiner 2 Wochen in dem Hotel nicht verschwand. Die Ausstattung ist recht gut, u. a. mit Sofa, Schreibtisch mit Stuhl, Flachbildfernseher, Kaffee- und Teezubereiter, Klimaanlage, Safe, Schrank, Slipper, Bademäntel, Regenschirm. Die Zimmer sind in einem sehr guten Zustand. Zur Verdunkelung gibt es einen Vorhang. Dieser verdunkelt für die Nacht das Zimmer gut. Die Klimaanlage arbeitet gut, ist auch nicht übermäßig laut. Das finde ich angenehm. Die Einstellmöglichkeiten der Klimaanlage sind durchschnittlich. Leider gibt es keine Fernbedienung, aber es lässt sich eine angenehme Klimatisierung einstellen. Täglich gibt es zwei Flaschen Wasser gratis auf dem Zimmer. Das Badezimmer war recht geräumig. Es machte insgesamt einen angenehmen und sehr freundlichen Eindruck und verfügte über eine ebenerdige Duschkabine, die einen Handbrauseschlauch statt eines festen Duschkopfes hatte, was ich sehr angenehm fand. Duschgel, Seife, Shampoo und Conditioner, Body Lotion, alles von Crabtree und Evelyn, Duschhaube, Wattestäbchen sowie ein Haartrockner waren vorhanden. Letzterer war kein Hotelgerät, was ich positiv fand. Handtücher waren in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. An ihrem Aussehen und ihrem Zustand gab es wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Allerdings fehlten Zahnputzgläser, so dass man sich mit den Trinkbechern behelfen musste. Mit der Ausstattung des Badezimmers konnte man also im Großen und Ganzen zufrieden sein. An der Sauberkeit im Bad gab es auch nichts auszusetzen. Zimmerreinigung gab es zu der Zeit, als ich da war, nur auf Anforderung. Es empfiehlt sich, eine Zeit mit anzugeben, zu der das Zimmer fertig sein soll, was meistens geklappt hat. Sonst kann es passieren, dass das Zimmer erst nach 18:00 Uhr gemacht wird, was ich für reichlich spät halte und was nicht sehr angenehm ist. Die Reinigung war immer sehr gründlich. Frühstück gibt es im Restaurant im Erdgeschoss. Das Restaurant ist recht groß. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm. Angeboten wird Amerikanisches Frühstück in Bufettform. Das F

Ich liebe die Aussicht geliebt der Service, es war erstaunlich ihr Team ist einfach wunderbar!! Die Mädchen Susan und Ana von der Rezeption haben mich von bestimmten Hunger gerettet mit diesem erstaunlichen Frühstück sie anbieten im Hotel’s Restaurant Ich mache es definitiv mein nächstes Jahr auf! The main needs of this vacation were beach, sand, pool, drinks, food. This fit the bill as the cheapest, direct flight for both my wife and I from BC and my brother and his wife from SK. A RIU this resort is NOT but we knew that going in. We knew the food would not be great, it isn't in the buffet. It's adequate for one visit maybe two but after that too limited and too repetitive. We chose instead to visit one of the smaller restaurants and either the Luna, Pacific Tower or Star Palace from breakfasts and select one of the dinner options each evening. Through that dining experience which was good we met Ramon. What an exceptionally pleasant, knowledgeable, hardworking and catering man. We asked to use the one dining room that was closed to play cards in. It was hard to find a quiet place to get away for that kind of activity. He said absolutely and turned the lights on for us and even asked us what we would like to drink. He even made the drinks, which were all exceptional, himself. Each evening then we asked for dinner that would take us to Ramon. He gave us special treatment and made us very welcome each evening for dinner and our card games. He served us drinks through the evening even while he was managing the dinners. The last evening he made me a dirty martini that was very excellent. Four olives!! If we were to decide to go here again we would choose the Luna Palace to stay in as it is a bit more laid back, nice pool and quieter. Not fault of the hotel but bands play on the beach and are extremely loud. The hotel was also fully booked with local families and associations or teams so very busy. We never were able to use the main pool but the Pacific pool was a good alternative and we stayed on the beach under a Palapa.

The staff are always friendly, courteous and eager to help to ensure your stay is perfect. People who exceeded our expectations this trip were; Juan, Avi, ConciergeVIP, Armando Concierge, Antonio server Teraza, Jorge server La Marina, Francisco server La Concha, Diego captain at pools Marina, and two of his servers Blas and Eduardo, and Daniel Front Desk Marina. We have been coming to the resorts for over 20 years and are confident your stay will be fabulous.

Me gustó el servicio, los empleados muy atentos. Las actividades que hacían en la alberca muy entretenidas y la chica (Darinka) que las organizaba era muy agradable, en todo momento procuraba que estuviéramos cómodos.
