Wir können uns den überwiegenden Bewertungen nur anschließen...eine wahrliche Ruheoase inmitten der Medina von Marrakesch mit liebevoll gestaltetem Design und Interieur. Wir waren sowohl zu Anfang als auch am Ende unserer Rundreise im Riad El Borj und haben uns jeweils sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Daniel und sein Team kümmern sich charmant und zuvorkommend um ihre Gäste. Sollten wir nochmals nach Marrakesch reisen, würden wir sicherlich wieder das Riad El Borj als Unterkunft wählen.

Tastefully decorated and comfortable. Staff was very kind and breakfast satisfying. Stayed in the 'Tower Room' with large private rooftop terrace which was great for sunsets. The owner was there everyday, a well-spoken Frenchman who gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Would not hesitate to stay here again

The staffs were wonderful and friendly. The room was very clean. The AC worked really well. The courtyard was nice and cool. Patio was pretty. I enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast and the orange jam. I wished there would be an egg though. Location is not bad. We were able to find it with google map without difficulties. We loved the restaurant Nomad that the riad recommended. The trash can in the bathroom was handmade and so adorable.

Communication with El Borj is excellent, we arranged a transfer from the airport and all went very smoothly. We arrived to a lovely welcome from Ali and a tour of our accommodation. The Douriya room is spectacular, huge, cool and very relaxing. After a few days exploring the medina it was a welcome to return to El Borj and our cool relaxing rooms! The location to Jemaa el Fna and the Souks is great, a 5 minute walk. Ali arranged a hot air balloon ride for us, the pick up location was at Cafe de France at Jema El Fna market, so the location cannot be beaten for being central. Daniel helped us with withdrawing money at the ATM. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely and the staff are excellent. There are many places to eat and wander around. I would 100% recommend El Borj, for our very first experience of Marrakech, it was fabulous.

We spent three night at Riad El Borj and enjoyed it immensely. Our room was quiet and comfortable and we received some good inner options from Ali. The Riad is a beautiful oasis off one of the main streets of the Medina but once you are behind the doors the mayhem from outside is forgotten. Breakfast was good - fruit, yoghurt plus different breads, jams and cheese with a delicious cake option that we ate each morning! The staff were helpful and friendly and the owner very approachable rescuing us at the door on our first night after we had become hopelessly lost. (This was our fault and nothing to do with the Riad)

As a family of 5 we stayed here in April for 5 nights. The Ryad itself is absolutely stunning, the photos on line do not do it justice. Our rooms were perfect, very comfortable beds & beautifully decorated. The breakfast each morning was amazing, a different selection of local produce every day with fruit, coffee & the most delicious orange juice. There was so much to eat it set us up perfectly for our day exploring. The location of the Ryad is perfect, a couple of minutes walk to the main square, and no more than 15 minutes walk to all the main attractions we wanted to visit. All of the staff that we met were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Daniel was fantastic and gave us so much information, and Ali was the nicest most helpful man you could ever wish to meet. We were made to feel at home instantly and I have never felt so welcomed. This was truly my most favourite place i have ever holidayed, and I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you so much Daniel & Ali x

Ali is the BEST!!! Do not book anywhere else! We stayed at many different types of hotels/riads during our whirlwind 2-week tour of Morocco and Ali was truly our favorite. The location of the property is amazing—right in the middle of all the action, tucked down a quiet street in the heart of the Medina. You can easily walk to all the major attractions of Marrakech with no problem. The breakfast was included and was delicious! It consisted of multiple courses of traditional Moroccan foods and was a hearty way to start your day of sightseeing. However, my favorite part about our stay was that after being harassed to purchase something by everyone, almost everywhere we traveled during the trip, Ali was the first who was not trying to sell us on anything. He didn’t try to push tours or excursions. He didn’t try to recommend crappy restaurants with bad food just because they had tourist menus and he gave us honest answers about how much things *should* cost, so we would not get scammed by taxi drivers, horse carriages or vendors in the night market. This kind of honesty was refreshing and appreciated. We tried all of the recommendations he gave when we solicited them and we were happy with everything! Thank you Ali you are a gem!

This is simply beautiful, from entering the Riad the feeling is relaxed. Our greeting was very warm and welcoming. We stayed for 2 nights while on a longer trip and found the location exceptional, slightly off the main open market square, slightly off the main market trading lanes which made it very quiet and relaxed while fully immersed in the heart of Marrakech. The owner and staff simply cannot be any more accommodating, the breakfast is delightful and the evening cooking smells are delicious and we wished we had eaten dinner here. We had the top balcony room which offers 360’ views of the area including the distant mountains, the room is lovely, the bathroom is lovely, the open windows offer bird song and gently city sound. We would highly recommend this Riad.

Had a great first trip to Marrakech. Daniel, Ali and the rest of the team the perfect hosts. They cannot do enough to make sure you have a great stay. The Ryad is in a great location and is very tastefully decorated.

Amazing stay! From the moment we arrived until we checked out, it was a perfect stay. We were warmly greeted by the staff, especially Daniel and Ali. Upon arrival, we were offered tea and cookies while Daniel spoke with us. He not only was so helpful, providing tips on places to visit and eat but he also took time to get to know us. We were able to set up an airport transfer for $15 euros to the Riad which was so convenient and highly recommend. The property is nicely tucked away from the bustling streets of Marrakech and the moment you walk in, you’re blown away by the lobby. Beautifully designed with amazing greenery and so much character. Our room wasn’t ready but our bags were in our room when we returned. We stayed in the royal suite and wow! It was beautiful. It was grand and fit for royalty. It included a common area, separate living room and a separate bedroom. The breakfast was amazing also, you’re given an array of options. The rooftop terrace was another beautiful space where you can do some great reflecting while looking over the city. There was a 3rd gentleman that was also very kind and helpful but I forgot his name but he was our last interaction upon our departure and made our stay even more great. Despite leaving in the early hours (430am) he was still so pleasant. Great job all around by Daniel and his whole staff. Will only recommend this property to anyone visiting Marrakech. We cannot wait to come back for a future stay. Thank you Riad El Borj!

This is the best Riad we stayed in while in Morocco. Ali and Daniel are such wonderful people who read the room and go above and beyond to make your trip special. Beautiful, peaceful, and warm. Merci❤️

We stayed here to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday, after looking at dozens of riads and 18 months planning, we settled on riad el borg, and boy did we make the right decision!! cannot fault it, location perfect, decor perfect, cleanliness perfect, staff perfect.from the minute we turned arrived Daniel and Ali were there to welcome us, throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble,we even got a packed lunch breakfast for our early morning flight home !! If we ever return to marakesh we wouldn't stay anywhere but riad el borj. We really can't reccomend riad el borj highly enough, thank you Daniel and Ali for a truely memorable and wonderful stay

With a five night stay cut to three due to Easyjet cancelling my return flight - this stay could have been super-stressful, but it wasn't. What makes this riad special isn't the location (close to the action), pretty courtyard garden, or the lovely roof terrace; it isn't the attention to detail at breakfast (with some items changing each day) or the comfortable, Moroccan rooms with gorgeous interior design - what makes Riad el Borj a fabulous place to stay is the people. Attentive without being intrusive, thoughtful and charming, Daniel (the owner) and Ali (the manager?) are wonderful. Add to this pair, the staff who cook, serve breakfast and clean and you have a team who are warm, welcoming and friendly. When I had to cancel my last two nights of my booking, Daniel and Ali were super helpful and accommodating. I was very grateful.

Ryad is beautiful with a wonderful team. Daniel, the owner and his right hand man, Ali, took care of our transfer and organized guided tours with driver and guide. We ordered a dinner for the day of arrival, which would be late and I left everything in Daniel's hands and in the end it was a pleasant surprise, the dinner was wonderful, everything was very well prepared and with excellent presentation, the best Tagine we ate. The little lunches were excellent with everything freshly prepared, from pancakes, cakes to the wonderful homemade yogurt. the evaluation that we can make will always fall short, as it was all Top.
