2-Sterne-Hotels in Marathon

We had a great stay at this hotel. Spotlessly clean. Pillows were my favorite. Fluffy. Soft sheets great mattress. This place even had a “tiki bar” next to the pool. Pool area was clean newer chairs and plenty of them. The staff was gracious and very knowledgeable about the area. Gave us great recommendations. I totally will return to this Fairfield. It’s one of my favorites.

We were a bit worried upon arriving to the hotel because it looked more like a motel, but it turned out that there are also 2-stories houses of 8 rooms each (4 on each floor, facing both ways) and that’s where our room was. Well I don’t know about the motel-like rooms, but the ones in the little houses (and ours) were charming, very cosy, clean, comfortable and in good condition. Each room has a shared balcony with the room next door. Ours was on the first floor so that we had nothing but the clear blue sky above our heads while eating the grab-and-go breakfast (porridge, yoghurt, orange, apple juice and mini blueberry muffin): simple, nice and nourishing. Small flaws: 1) the mattresses were a little too soft. Not sure if that was intentional or if they were a bit tired; 2) the front door was a bit stuck, we had to push it hard to open it; 3) the hotel is located near an airport where helicopters routinely take of or land late at night or early in the morning. Can be quite noisy. A very enjoyable stay all-in-all. I recommend. Right next to it is the Brutus seafood restaurant that I also warmly recommend for its excellent food and nice staff (and cosy atmosphere), all for a reasonable price.

Haben Sie hier 4 Tage, ich habe mindestens 4 Tage mehr und kann noch 4 verlängern! Ich kann nicht auf die negativen Bewertungen hier kommentieren, da ich nicht da war.. Aber, ich sage Ihnen, Ich habe gelaufen, gehängt, Zeit verbrachte und auf jeden Teil dieses Grundstücks, auf dem ich Zugang habe und es ist groß!!! Das Personal ist unglaublich!! Freundlich, hilfsbereit, lustig.. sie wollen, dass Sie eine gute Zeit haben und Ihren Aufenthalt genießen.. Und ich bin!! Ich habe mit dem Frontbüropersonal, Hausbetreuern, Frühstücksarbeitern, den Jungs, die das Gras schneiden.. ohh und die GM! Das sind normale Leute, sie kümmern sich um.. Mein Zimmer, ein so Spiel mit einem Queen-Size-Bett hat ein großes Flachbild-TV, Arbeitsstation mit Ethernet-Plug sowie USB und 110V-Plugs.. Ich habe eine kleine Tauch- und Kontra-Area, eine mittlere Größe Kühlschrank, viel Kabinettraum, Mikrowelle, eine Safe, die NO extra charge ist, eine Ausgefaltete Couch, die groß ist, um einen zu sitzen ... Ich habe nicht auf sie geschlafen . Aber ich könnte.. Sehr komfortabel zu sitzen ... Ein paar Stoßen weg Ottomanen, aktualisiertes Badezimmer, riesige Dusche, Ich habe eine kleine Porsche mit 2 Stühlen und einem kleinen Tisch. Wasser in der Dusche ist heiß, großer Druck, Zimmer war sauber, durch Bett und Sofa-Bereich gepflegt, irgendeine Art Fliesenlage in Wander- und Badezimmer. Mein Zimmer war sauber, geräuchert sauber und die AC wird Sie ausfrieren! Ich liebe es! Es gibt einen kleinen Dock auf dem Wasser mit wenigen Stühlen und einem Tisch. Ich sitzen dort ein paar Bier, beobachten Sie die Boote, genießen Sie die Sonne, beobachten Sie die Iguane.. und entspannen Sie sich. Es gibt einen sehr schönen Poolbereich mit einer Tiki-Bar, die momentan nicht geöffnet ist, aber es ist 15 Schritte von meinem Zimmer , ich kann ein Bier dort bekommen. Ohh, das Frühstücksbereich fühlt sich riesig!! Das Frühstück war geschraubte Eier, Sauce, Bacon, Kartoffeln. Es gibt Oatmeal, Brötchen, Bagels, trockenes Getreide, Yoghurt ... Sie bekommen es ... Es ist schön.. freundliches Personal, auf Zeit geöffnet.. Es gibt ein Büro /business Zentrum ... Ich sehe Computer ehrlich nicht sicher, was sonst. Ich bin auf Urlaub Mann Ich bin nicht daran interessiert, aber es ist da.. Gemeinschaftsbad in der Nähe des Frontdesk sind lächerlich!! Wicked gigantisch, spotless.. sehr nett Dude.. Sie sind in Marathon Key, dieser Ort ist leer, ich bin im Paradies. Es gibt ein großes Meeresfrüchterestaurant über die Straße, sogar ich kann dort gehen ... Es ist freakin großartig! Auf dem Wasser, frisches Meeresfrüchte, anständige glückliche Stunde ... Es gibt einen Bootstart über die Straße. Ein Winn Dixie und ein Publix 3.8mi Süden des Hotels. Gasstation vielleicht 1000' südlich des Hotels. Was brauchst du noch? Check my profil, I am not a shil for Hampton Inn ... Ich reise, ich sehe das Gute und das Böse überall im Land ... We have stayed in hundreds of hotels big and small over the years. If you are expecting a “resort” you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for a very good overnight stay, you will be very satisfied. The positives: clean property and room, large room, comfortable bed, clean linens, friendly and accommodating staff(other than the large man at registration), close to the very few eating places in Marathon(not many places to eat other than fast food-YUCK!), quiet room, nice deck to sit on away from traffic on the rear of the property next to the water, excellent quiet a/c. The negatives: nothing. We would gladly stay there again.
