Coco Plum Beach & Tennis Club & Marina

This small, very family-friendly resort suited us perfectly. We did multiple day trips (location is fantastic!) and then enjoyed the afternoon/sunset at the jacuzzi, pool, beach every day. And we loved the ease of borrowing basketballs and tennis rackets when struck with whim to play. We also like to prepare a lot of our own meals - so the well-stocked and modern kitchen, and grocery delivery, was greatly appreciated. There was just a really nice vibe to the place - from staff to other guests. It really felt like the best combination of an airbnb and a resort. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

We wanted quiet and on the beach and this place delivered. Our villa had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Parking was easy and each car had a tag to display. There were charcoal grills on-site. No need to buy any supplies for the grill they had them right on-site, you just need to buy your food. The villa was clean and while a little dated, it didn’t matter because we had a great time. Each unit is elevated with a washer, dryer, trash and storage located underneath. The main floor has a sitting area, desk if you want to bring some work ( but who needs to work on paradise), a table for 6, the kitchen and access to a huge screened in porch. The porch has a table and chairs, lots of space for your pool floats, rocking chair and a few loungers. We used this space the most heading out every morning to have coffee and ending every night listening to the water. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need including dish soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags (if you need more they are by the office), towels and so much more. It’s a little tight for more than two people but the pass through to the porch was convenient. The spiral staircase takes a little getting used to but no issue for us. There is a little table and chairs upstairs and and a living room with seating for 5. The couch pulls out to a bed. One bathroom is located off the living room and the other in one of the bedrooms. The bedrooms were spacious and plenty of drawer and closet space. The laundry baskets in the closet were a nice surprise and convenient to take towels down to the washer. The pool was rarely busy and some days we had to ourself for an hour or two. The beach had chairs in the shade or sun you could sit. They provided a great spot to watch the sun rise or to look at the moon. The hot tub is powerful but a nice treat after a day doing water sports. We can’t say enough about how kind the staff was and how much we enjoyed our stay. My kids are already asking to stay again next year.

We had the most wonderful time with our family at Cocoplum! We took 2 villas side by side for our 10 family members, including small children, which was the perfect fit for us ! We all enjoyed the low key atmosphere and restful vibe. Villas were very clean with nice, neutral decor and the office staff couldn't be nicer! The pool and jacuzzi are well maintained, and we often had it to ourselves! With the pool adjacent to the beach, everyone could pick their water-fun preference and still be together. We look forward to our next family vacation at Cocoplum. It's ideal!

Our stay at CoCo Plum Beach & Tennis Club was AMAZING! Each suite is a separate unit with two spacious floors connected by a spiral staircase and a full wrap-around screened in porch. There is plenty of room, as well as privacy from other guests, along with a full kitchen, dining room, up to date appliances, and the list goes on. All this just steps from a gorgeous private beach! I’m already planning my trip for next year!

We are currently staying here at Cocoplum Beach Tennis Club and Marina, in Marathon. I am very pleased with this place. Let me start off by saying that the little octagonal house we are staying in is spotless. No musty smell, no dirt....immaculately clean. From the floors to the dishes to the beds.....just very clean inside and out. The property is very pretty. Lots of palms and tropical foliage and the pool is also immaculately clean. Cleanliness is very important to me when we travel and stay places. The beach does have seaweed. You shouldn't be shocked if you research the keys at all. The club does rake it and while raking it does emit an odor of the seaweed but it dissipates rather quickly. The water is calm and relaxing. The only negative I can tell you about this place is that when the air conditioning kicks on, it is loud. The unit is refreshingly cold but the air conditioner is a bit noisy when it turns on, which is about every 40 minutes or so. It probably wouldn't kick on that often if we turned up the temp but it is Florida in June. My advice is that if you have issues with mobility, then this isn't the place for you as there are spiral stairs that lead to the bedrooms and the two bathrooms.

This place was perfect for my family of five with three young children. It’s a no frills place, so if you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t the place for you. It was perfect for us as it has a fully working kitchen which allowed us to eat-in two meals per day. It was reasonably priced comparative to other options. The pool was fantastic for our kids. The small beach is very easy to access and very quiet. I would not recommend staying here if mobility is an issue for you. Bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs and accessed through a narrow, spiral staircase. That was really the only negative here. We would definitely stay here again.
