Wow!!! We stayed in a first class king room and it was brilliant. The room was so clean and crisp and the toiletries in the bathroom were plentiful. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco for our room and it was cold and delicious. Our breakfast was delicious with almost everything available (no dairy free margarine (flora or similar) for on toast. We did have a slight problem with a dog in the room next door but we were given another first class king room within 10 minutes and it was exactly the same as our original. We were treated with such amazing service by any staff member we spoke to and would not hesitate to stay here again on any other trip to Manchester. The hotel was central to the trains stations we were travelling to and from and perfect walking distance to the AO Arena for a performance we had booked. We cannot fault anything with this stay and left feeling so refreshed despite not visiting the gym.

Well cared for lovely old building. There are some stairs in the corridors which didn’t expect. Staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location is excellent. Slight noise from outside and room above but not too bad. Shop is a let down. Poor choice of items and some very odd ones, usually roomzzz shops are better. Also very expensive. Hot drinks machine was decent quality.

Loved the experience went for our anniversary took my 8month year old daughter aswel the service was really good and the hotel its self was amazing the spa and swimming was good ! Overall would defo be coming back soon! Worth it all day long!

I've stayed at this particular hotel previously (almost exactly a year ago) and my experience this time around is not as good. Firstly, the good things are the location and the rooms are very modern, new and have everything you would need. Now for the negatives. When I checked in I was surprised that I was given a twin room, although I believed I had booked a double. It turns out in small print there was something that said I might be given a twin - but this is more the fault of trip.com so I will not mark this hotel down because of it. The hotel was fully booked so they unfortunately couldn't move me into a double room. However, they were not proactive at all at trying to come up with a solution - they didn't suggest moving me to another room on another day, and they did not suggest that they could push the twin beds together to create a double - I only discovered this after a couple of days later when I pushed the beds together and then housekeeping was happy to dress the beds as a double. Cleanliness was generally pretty good, and while I don't expect perfection, there were a couple of areas that needed work. The space under the bathroom counter was very dusty and I came across two dusty old fries next to the bed. Part way through my stay, the LED lights in the kitchenette started having issues. Housekeeping said they would report this and someone would come to fix it. Nobody ever came to fix it. On one of the busy mornings, one of the lifts stopped working. The staff didn't inform any guests and so a lot of time was wasted and guests eventually figured out they had to use the stairs.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer ohne Fenster für einen günstigen Kurzurlaub gebucht und bekam bei der Ankunft ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Fenster, ein Doppelzimmer, ein riesiges Zimmer, ein bequemes Bett und Tee- und Kaffeezubereitungsmöglichkeiten, eine Dusche über der Badewanne, mitten im Stadtzentrum. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und teilte mir mit, dass der Aufzug geöffnet sei und ich um 10 Uhr auschecken müsse. Sie bieten einen späten Check-out um 12 Uhr für 10 £ oder um 13 Uhr für 20 £ an. Auch das Frühstück wurde zu einem reduzierten Preis von 9,95 £ angeboten, wenn es bei der Ankunft gebucht wurde. Ich buchte das Zimmer für 34 £, aber die Option, das Frühstück einzuschließen, kostete auf trip.com 42 £, also eigentlich nur 3,50 £ pro Person für ein Frühstück, was ich für ein gutes Angebot hielt, entschied mich, hier nicht zu frühstücken. Der Automat für Snacks, Schokolade, Chips und Getränke war rund um die Uhr am Aufzug geöffnet, der Fernseher im Zimmer, der Sicherheitsdienst vor Ort ließ einen nicht in das Gebäude, bis man seine Buchungsnummer und seinen Ausweis vorgezeigt hatte, und war ein bisschen übertrieben. es wird bei der Buchung nicht erwähnt, dass Gäste, die hier übernachten, nach 22:00 Uhr nicht mehr herkommen können und an der Rezeption für jede Person einen Ausweis vorzeigen müssen, das habe ich vorher nicht gesehen, normalerweise zeigt das gebuchte Hotel einfach seinen Ausweis, also ein bisschen übertrieben.

Das Innere des Zimmers ist sauber und schlicht und das Design der Hotellobby ist einzigartig und einzigartig. Schlechter Service: Erstens, als ich abends ins Hotel zurückkam und gerade meine Schuhe auszog, um mich auszuruhen, ging plötzlich der Feueralarm los. Wir haben versucht, an der Rezeption anzurufen und zu fragen, was los sei, aber niemand antwortete. Wir hatten keine andere Wahl, als uns unsere Pässe und andere Notwendigkeiten zu schnappen und loszulaufen. Als wir unten ankamen, war niemand an der Rezeption. Wir fragten den Wachmann, aber er konnte es uns nicht sagen und bat uns, zur Tür hinauszugehen, aber draußen war es sehr kalt. Wir trugen keine Mäntel. Nach ein paar Minuten sagte der Wachmann, dass in der Küche möglicherweise ein Feueralarm ausgelöst wurde. Zweitens gingen wir zurück ins Zimmer und riefen erneut an, konnten aber immer noch nicht durchkommen. Persönlich denke ich, dass das Telefon nur eine Dekoration ist. Drittens gab es im fünften und sechsten Stock ständig Streitereien. Es war sehr laut und es gab ein Tauziehen, und ich traute mich nicht, die Tür zu öffnen sehen. - Der Lärm hielt bis 1:25 Uhr morgens vor der Abreise an. Die konkrete Situation ist unklar. Viertens ließ sich das Türschloss nicht abschließen. Es fühlte sich an, als ob eine Karte die Tür öffnen könnte, also mussten wir einen Stuhl benutzen, um sie hochzuhalten. Manchester ist die zweitgrößte Stadt Großbritanniens mit einer großen Einwohnerzahl. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass dieses Hotel unsicher ist. Ich werde in Zukunft nie wieder in diesem Laden übernachten.

We were very impressed by this hotel. Lovely staff, well presented lounge and bar and large bedroom and very nice bathroom. Only thing in bedroom is the very subtle lighting. Nice but not bright enough! Comfy beds too. It was noisy quite early in the morning but it’s central Manchester so to be expected. No view from windows and couldn’t open them, but this wasn’t a major issue. Would choose again for the price. Didn’t eat there as bit pricey for us. Trip was to visit grandson at university and to see Manchester with him so ate out.

Hotel is excellent room and views are lovely. Location is excellent and majority of staff were nice. Only a few issues they give and charge you for doubles in the bar when the menu only gives single prices. The response from the barmaid was you never specified a single when that should be as standard. Also take 50 pound a night for cover in case you spend in the hotel but only refunded 97.60 for the 2 nights. Although we didn’t spend anything on the room. The hotel is super but just those 2 things took the shine of a really great stay.

Unser Aufenthalt war für einen Universitätsbesuch, die Eincheckung war gut, das Zimmer war sehr klein, aber ruhig. Der Dusche war schlecht sehr wenig Wasserdruck. Der Seife und Shampoo-Dispenser funktionierte nicht. Alles in allem guten Aufenthalt wirklich sauber Hotelzimmer. Das Hotel bietet Ihnen einen warmen, freundlichen Service und eine gute Lage.

Ausgezeichnete Lage, 3 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof in Piccadilly entfernt. Der Fitnessbereich ist geräumig und eine gute Auswahl an Ausrüstungen. Buffet ist gut, aber kostspielig bei £17.50, einer der teuersten in jedem Hotel, auf dem ich geblieben bin. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und haben gute Klimaanlage
