In all honesty and respect to the Travelodge Team, I must say it was totally the opposite of what I expected which is entirely NO fault of theirs! Coming from Hiton at CDG Paris, Atrium in Heathrow there were absolutely NO comparison!! Travelodge, was used as last resort at the moment as the initial location booked did not appear safe in location, taking into consideration I was traveling on official business. The hotel is basic, they don't provide daily cleaning, nor room service, and if you need towels replaced you'd place the sign on the door before 11am. They offer buffet breakfast and selected dinner, really can't comment much on that.... What I did learn is that the hotel is commonly used for other types of accommodations.... To each his own, I wouldn't do a second time and wouldn't recommend to any of my counterparts. Nonetheless, for the duration of my stay I must highlight Terence, Lisa and Sarah who was always helpful in anyway they could and I can safely say those 3 made my stay a little better than my mind would😁So thank you guys, your personalities and professionalism are appreciated!

Went here for our 10th anniversary as we got married here and it use to be our local. We had afternoon tea, which was lovely and just the right amount. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. We also stayed here, the room was a lovely size, had everything we needed, and we were able to check in slightly early. The furniture in the room is a little dated, but did its job. We had breakfast here which was lovely, with lots of choice. We used the swimming pool, which was clean and so were the changing rooms. We also got to see the start of a Christmas tree going up. A fantastic stay, would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

Es gab kein warmes Wasser bei der Ankunft, wurde ein Zimmer mit einer Dusche mit Behinderung und mit einer Tür verbunden mit einem anderen Zimmer gegeben . Nachdem sie sich beschwert hatte, wurde es geändert, aber der Hustle war ungünstig. Würde nicht wieder dort buchen. Nicht das, was wir erwarteten

Ich habe nicht seit vielen Jahrzehnten hier geblieben, ich hatte gehofft, besser zu sein. Es begann nicht gut an der Rezeption, wenn ich um das Angebot von Papieren in einem “Privileg” Zimmer fragte, dass ich gesagt wurde .. “Ja, aber du musst dafür bezahlen”! Eine Stunde später fand ich die Buchungsbescheinigung, die eindeutig gesagt, Papiere mit einem Privilegraum enthalten. Ein zweiter Besuch bei der Rezeption brachte einen Kommentar entlang der Linien von „Ich weiß nichts davon“ begleitet von einem Schrauben der Schultern. Nicht ein guter Start. Ich war auch überrascht, dass es kein Hotelservicebuch im Zimmer war, daher keine Informationen über Gesundheitsclub, Mahlzeiten, Betrieb von Kaffeemaschine usw. Auch die sehr grundlegenden Hotels haben diese gewöhnlich. Eine Frage zu diesem Thema hat die gleiche Linie erzeugt, dass wir nichts davon wissen! Das Zimmer war nicht irgendwo in der Nähe des Standards vorgeschlagen und war extrem müde und nicht besonders sauber mit Staubflächen überall. Die Fenster waren alten, modischen Aluminium, was bedeutete, dass sie aufgrund der A20 in der Nähe geschlossen werden mussten. Das bedeutete, dass sie am Morgen mit Kondensation drippen! Einer der Bettwäsche-Schalter wurde gebrochen und wurde nach der Berichterstattung repariert, im Gegensatz zum Toilettenrollhalter, der auch gebrochen wurde kaufen nie repariert! Die gelieferte Duvet war für den Sommer zu heiß und ich habe keine Ahnung, warum das Bett so groß war, aber es war ziemlich komfortabel. Das Badezimmer war ausreichend, nicht mehr. Insgesamt glaube ich, dass Premier Inn Zimmer viel besser und eine schreckliche Menge günstiger! Auf der guten Seite ... Der junge Mann in der Bar war sehr hilfreich bei vielen Dingen, vielleicht hätte er auf der Rezeption sein sollen? Das Restaurant war am Abend gut, Frühstück einfach OK. Ich wünsche mir, dass die Leute, die auf sie warten, nicht immer alle ”Kerle” nennen würden. Da die Bar/Lounge und das Restaurant im Wesentlichen das gleiche Zimmer waren, macht das Fernsehen am Ende nichts für die Gaste des Restaurants außer sie ärgern! Aber der Gesundheitsclub und Waren Pool Fine!

Das ist das einzige Hotel, in dem ich aufbleibe, wenn ich in der Gegend bin. Exzellent Personal, sauber und sehr komfortabel. Es ist direkt gegenüber den Dienstleistungen, so dass Sie buchstäblich aus der Tür und in die Tür der Dienstleistungen gehen können. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und sauber.

Been here twice to eat now and it didn’t disappoint. The standard of the cuisine is first class from presentation to quality ingredients and even down to a hot plate upon delivery - excellent ! I eat in some of the more recognised high end establishments in Central London and have to say that the food we had mirrored this standard and in fact, for me, beat it. To start, we had the fish platter to share which was outstanding and a must should you visit. Our mains were Calves Liver, (which was devine,) and my guests had Fish n Chips and Steak respectively - both of which they assured me was excellently cooked and of the same quality as the liver! We couldn’t fit a dessert in but I’m sure it would have been just as delicious if we could have. Pricing very reasonable for the quality of the dishes and service. We will be returning very soon.

Das Camden Arms ist rundum klasse und bot uns einen perfekten Aufenthalt! Der Check-in war flexibel und sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sind geräumig und klassisch-englisch eingerichtet. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr gemütlich - so dass wir uns auch für das Abendessen im Camden Arms entschieden hatten - was eine sehr gute Wahl war! Das Fühstück am nächsten Morgen war klasse!! sehr, sehr lecker und freundlich von der Chefin selbst zubereitet. Auch unser Gastgeber ist ein äußerst sympathischer Herr - der uns zudem für unsere Oldtimer einen extra gesicherten Parkplatz zur Verfügung gestellt hat - herzlichen Dank für alles! Sobald ich wieder in der gegen unterwegs sein sollte - werde ich garantiert das Camden Arms buchen :-)

We were a group of ex- Navy veterans returning to the historic dockyard and former naval trading establishment where we had previously served forty years earlier. We chose to stay at the Ship & Trades purely because of its excellent location and were not disappointed. The rooms are excellent, being quiet and well appointed, and the bar and restaurant are pleasantly situated by the picturesque marina. Parking is plentiful and free for residents. We were all delighted with the quality of our evening meals, which were not haut cuisine but beautifully cooked and presented, absolutely delicious and reasonable value. Drinks were similarly of excellent quality and reasonably priced. Breakfast was again an excellent mix of choices for both the healthy and enthusiastic foodies in our group. All staff were ”smiley”, helpful and keen to be of assistance.

Made an overnight stay as a single person having pre-booked directly with the hotel. When booking, I set out several preferences for the type of room I wanted and my thanks to Linda and Martine on reception for sorting this all out for me quite perfectly. In addition, I was hosting a dinner party with several guests in the Brasserie that evening and they helped with all the arrangements for that. I stayed in a standard double room (room 8) which was comfortable and perfectly clean, with everything you’d expect from this class of hotel. The room was quiet and on the first floor overlooking gardens. Dinner with my friends that evening was a success with good food and service. Overall everything went very well. Finally, I have to mention that I rather stupidly left a shirt in the wardrobe in my room after leaving the hotel but, again, this time after speaking with Beth on reception at the hotel, she arranged for this to be posted back to me the same day. The staff at this hotel are really great.
