Well looked after mid range motel in city centre, plenty of food options close by and off street parking. The owner is quite friendly and easy to deal with. Rooms as expected and clean and tidy. The bathroom is tiny but plenty of hot water. Quiet location near town centre. Recommend the Greek restaurant next door and woodmans axe for breaky.

I had a very pleasant stay in International Lodge Motel at Mackay. Beds were changed everyday and rooms were also clean. The owner (Hunter) is a very welcoming and friendly bloke who's always ready to assist whenever the need arises. I definitely will be coming back and looking forward to my trips to Mackay. Thank you, Hunter and wishing you all the best, mate!

Basic but spotlessly clean rooms which are made up daily so you come back to a made bed and everything clean. Great location with access to restaurants and other places to eat. Bench and chair in room for workspace. Aircon works well. Owner friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

International Lodge is the perfect location to stay especially if you’re going to a performance at the MECC. Hunter will welcome you and you will feel right at home. Rooms are clean and really comfortable beds. Quiet location with off street parking. You have a restaurant either side of accommodation Always look forward to next visit

The room was very clean. I really enjoyed my 3 night stay and slept very well. The room and location was very quiet. Great position too - super close to good coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Hunter - who owns and manages the motel - was very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful, rooms very clean and quite. I arrived late and was meet by Hunter at reception and he booked me in. Nothing is ever a problem and Hunter always remembers you which makes the difference to some motels that I had been to. The personal touch makes the difference.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great showers, so close to amazing restaurants. Perfect for a stop over or business! This is my fourth trip to international lodge and I will come back everytime I come through Mackay. The hotellier happily accommodated my car and trailer by moving his own vehicle. So welcoming everytime. Do recommend for no fuss accommodation.

Clean, comfortable and very close to the couple of things we needed to do while there. Perfectly fine. Easy to find, friendly welcome. Car parking getting a little tight with trend towards longs vehicles but no problem. Walking distance to some excellent eateries and cafes.

We always choose this motel when we stay in Mackay. It is situated in the centre of town and all restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and ideal for an overnight stay. Hunter is the most accommodating manager and nothing is too much trouble for him. We are a couple in our 70's and always book a ground floor room. Caneland Shopping Centre is a short walk away for those that go to Mackay for shopping.

Stayed for 2 days travelling from Cairns, very nice motel, fair prices. Everytime we get back to our room, things already tidy up, toilet is clean, new towels, cold aircon. Close to shops. Hunter is very friendly and will help you with anything.

Friendly and kind check in, clean room with everything one needs for an overnight on the road. Bed really comfortable with plenty of pillows. Aircon worked beautifully to cool room down. Easy off street parking, two great restaurants either side of hotel And ice cream shop just up the road

It's a reasonably priced motel. It's clean, friendly and close to restaurants, cafes and shopping centre. There are 2 restaurants one either side of the motel one Chinese and the other Greek. Everything is within walking distance. I highly recommend this motel.

Our stay was quite comfortable. The room though compact it was clean. The Bathroom is small but you make it work. So convenient to the MEC, just what we needed. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Close to some very nice restaurants is and added bonus.
