A beautiful hotel in a lovely setting next to Carlton Marshes nature reserve and a short walk to Oulton Broad. Great food, very friendly staff, and a large and comfortable room. It would have benefited from being aired before we arrived, but was soon sorted by opening windows ourselves. Overall, this was a great place to spend a weekend.

Married my beautiful wife here 3 days ago and for the last year during the build up the staff could not have been more helpful or so I thought because they exceeded even those efforts on the day. Nothing was too much trouble and we can't fault any aspect of our wedding or the lovely suite we had for the night. It's almost tempting to get a divorce just so we can get married again here!

My Neice has just got married here. The hotel and grounds were fantastic, the staff are amongst the friendliest and most helpful i have ever met. we stayed the night and found the room very spacious and comfortable, breakfast was superb once again the staff couldn't do enough for you. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Ivy House for making it such a special day.

Went for a meal on a Saturday night, it was EXQUISITE! The meal I had was cooked to perfection. The desert was DECEDENT ! This Resturant is well worth a visit, great service by the staff and beautiful decorations on a very beautiful old building. Well worth a visit to treat yourselves.

My family and I visited The Ivy House a couple of days ago, we all had a roast dinner (including starters and deserts) and the food was absolutely divine - massive compliments to the chef The front of house team were also so so lovely (Carenza and Holly). Very happy, friendly, welcoming, fast service, professional etc 10/10 service. Will definitely be visiting again, thank you

Stayed December 2023 for a Xmas party night & carvery.in the oak suit.lovely upstairs & downstairs accommodation.lounge area.shower room downstairs & Spa bath upstairs. Massive bedroom area.deer outside the window.lovely setting lovely breakfast.

We had a perfect wedding day here. Staff really helpful and polite. The setting is ideal for photos inside and outside, it is a hidden gem. The wedding day was absolutely amazing and we can't thank you all enough for everything you done on the day. A lot to plan and think about but the day was absolutely amazing 👏

We stayed here for three nights in the farmhouse building. Room was a very good size and extremely clean. Bed was very comfortable. There was a well stocked refreshments tray and toiletries selection in the bathroom. Water was piping hot in the bath and shower. Breakfast was well cooked . Although we had only booked for dinner for one night we enjoyed the food so much we ate in the restaurant for another night All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were well looked after and in keeping with the rural location without being over manicured. The hotel is down the end of a lane which makes it a very quiet location and ensures a good nights sleep. There is a footpath at the bottom of the garden which means the town of Oulton Broad is only a 10 minute walk away. Take a torch if coming back after dark. The owners are to be congratulated on providing such a lovely place to stay.
