We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast! We stayed in the Alfred DuPont room, and it was incredibly cozy and inviting—the perfect retreat after a long day. The home is full of character, with beautiful details and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the delicious breakfast to the thoughtful touches throughout the house, it’s clear they truly care about their guests. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a unique and historic setting, this is the place to stay. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

Vigi and her husband are wonderful hosts, and the Dupont Mansion is beautifully appointed and well-kept. The Edison Room has high ceilings, a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with shower, jacuzzi tub/complementary bath bomb and decent lighting. The 2nd floor kitchen was stocked with homemade cookies and tea/coffee makers, as well as a washer/dryer. What was most delightful was the delicious breakfast, all made from scratch and locally-sourced. The variety of sweet and savory (and unique food) made for a great experience. Vigi is from India and added some unique flavors in the dishes, while going great lengths to accommodate so many individual food needs and requests. We highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here or at the Central Inn, which they also own. Marcy Thobaben

Old world charm. Well-appointed B&B with period furniture throughout. The Du Pont room was excellent. Very nice breakfast. Easy parking in back, accessible through the alley and in the front on the street. Just a few miles from downtown, and about one mile from Churchill Downs and UofL.

Very nice heritage building with loads of exquisite millwork high ceilings etc. Close to Central Park. Beautiful heritage building homes in the neighborhood. Great breakfast and wonderful, accommodating hosts. 15 minutes to the airport.

Our visit to the Dupont Mansion B&B was fantastic! We really enjoyed our room which was and spacious and clean. The owners were very nice and attentive to our needs. They coordinated a great bourbon trail experience with transportation and a wonderful host driver. The breakfast was always fantastic and presented very well!!! We definitely recommend this place!

We (4 couples) couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay for the Bourbon Trail. Grace planned and provided transportation for us both days. We loved the fabulous breakfast, the afternoon cookies, and especially the fire pit at night.

The mansion is beautiful with period furniture & restored woodwork. The breakfast was gourmet & excellent. We stayed during the week of the art fair & the location was perfect, right down the road from the art fair. The only issue was the parking; there are spots in the back of the house, but not enough when all the rooms are full. So you may have to park on the road, in which there is plenty of parking on the road.

This stately place has been beautifully restored, and it has modern comforts. Great beds and linens, nice tv, great security. Breakfast was not a pre-fab, but crafted to order. Location close to downtown and a straight shot to Churchill Downs. Also very near the Brown Hotel and the Louisville Slugger factory. Cookies and bevs greeted us at check-in. You can tell that the proprietors really love their place and their guests!

This is in a location that enables easy acces to downtown as well as walking the nearby streets to look at the historical houses. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Some minor issues. We were able to get into the house and find our room but other vistors meandered around the front yard attempting to gain entry. Someone to greet would be a bonus as one couple thought we were the owners? The two course breakfast and presentation was an great experience but personaly we don't eat sweet for breakfast. Each morning we a sweet first and second course. The group beside us (unknown to us) after the first morning requested a savory second course, which we would also have appreciated. But, a great house to visit, bountiful sitting rooms and a good coffee machine.
