Grand Velas Los Cabos Luxury All Inclusive

Grand Velas Los Cabos was the exact opposite of our experience at Iberostar Cancun. The food was very good, especially considering the wide variety of dishes they offered, and the fact that the resort is all inclusive. From the sushi to the steaks and everything in between, I honestly didn’t have a bad mean or experience between the buffet, room service and specialty restaurants. SERVICE IS FANTASTIC. Unlike Iberostar Cancun, no request was too difficult or unworkable and our personal concierge Astrid was incredible. From literally fielding last-minute requests to organizing excursions and dinner reservations, and everything in between I cannot speak more highly of her efforts and her ability to make our experience even more memorable. Again, Astrid was incredible, but all of the staff at the hotel and resort were friendly, responsive, and accommodating. And finally the rooms were spotless and housekeeping did a fantastic job servicing the rooms every single day in a timely and thorough manner. If I ever make it back to Cabo, I will not hesitate to stay at Grand Velas Los Cabos, and I highly recommend that you do the same. Happy traveling!

Gianni Paredes is my personal butler and I give Grand Velas 5 star is because of his service, he assists us every way he can to make our family enjoyed a 5 stars stay at the resort. I will definitely recommend any body who wants to stay at this resort to request his service he will make your stay worth 5 stars just like our stay. He politely answers all of our questions and helped us book all of our activities. He will explain in detail about every activities what to prepare and what to be expect. He even went out of his way to get us a pair of pants at last minute because their Michelin star restaurant require to wear long pants and my son forgot to bring to Cabos. I was going to give Grand Velas a 4 stars because the pool is too hot and feels like jacuzzi but of the service Gianni provides makes the resort deserves a 5 stars.

Our seven-night stay at Grand Velas Los Cabos was a remarkable expedition into a realm of luxury and personalized service that we hadn't traversed before, despite our multiple experiences with high-end resorts over the past decade and a half. Grand Velas offered a blend of tranquility and scenic beauty that was nothing short of breathtaking. The value of our stay was affirmed with every interaction, every meal, and every glance at the horizon. The grandeur of service was palpable from the moment we stepped into the resort. The proficiency and promptness of service were impeccable. Every staff member we interacted with showcased a high level of professionalism mixed with a warm, friendly demeanor. Among the facilities, the Spa stood out and exceeded our expectations, with an ambiance that exuded serenity and indulgence. We also appreciated the absence of chlorine in the pools, which was a testament to the resort's commitment to providing a natural and pleasant swimming experience. However, the very slow and spotty internet and in-room technology could use some upgrades. The bandwidth seemed to struggle during peak hours, and the 1080p resolution on the large televisions fell short of the 4K standard we hoped for. Our King Ocean Front suite was a haven of elegance with its open-concept design and a bathroom that was nothing short of luxurious. The shaded patio area served as a melodious amphitheater to the calming whispers of the ocean waves. Housekeeping was flawless, prompt, and accommodating, ensuring our minibar was always stocked to our preference. The culinary journey at Grand Velas was a celebration of flavors, especially for vegetarians like us. I can't emphasize this enough. Being vegetarians, we often miss out on dining experiences when at resorts that tend to celebrate meat, and often forced to cobble together a collection of sides. But Velas? Always options, and always delicious. Each restaurant, including the steakhouse, embraced vegetarian cuisine with a level of creativity and flavor that was both surprising and delightful. Frida, with its complex flavors of traditional Mexico, won our hearts. However, the enforcement of dress code left something to be desired. The casual attire of some diners and the occasional loud table detracted from the otherwise sophisticated dining ambiance. Our experience at the Spa was elevated to a realm of rejuvenation we hadn't experienced before. The 90-minute massage was a rhythmic dance of relaxation conducted by skilled therapists. The water ceremony, initially approached with reluctance, turned out to be a prelude to relaxation that we now highly recommend. The calmness of the resort was a respite from the bustling entertainment-centric activities often found elsewhere. Hands down, this is the best resort you will ever experience. We have travelled to the finest reports across the Carribean and Hawaii and to be honest, were a little hesitant about Mexico and a resort that’s all inclusive. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST. Sorry if this is long, but I’m all about reading every detail of a review when I’m considering a new destination, so hope it’s helpful! Check in: genius idea… forget about waiting in a long check-in line. You’re wisked to comfy chairs overlooking the pools and ocean. The check in staff comes to you along with a beverage cart with welcome champagne and your personal concierge to accompany you to your room and show you around. Rooms: the comfiest beds and best amenities including everything you could possibly need (or maybe forgot to bring!). We were celebrating our 25th anniversary so our room had chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne to welcome us. The fridge was fully stocked and there was even a drawer stocked with candy and snacks. Of course all complimentary. Concierge: we were blessed to have Ana who was super responsive and so sweet and attentive. She brought us special surprises to the room each day since we were celebrating our anniversary… one day she had arranged red rose petals in the shape of a heart on our bed. Another day, she had a path of rose petals on the floor leading to a heart of rose petals and a delicious charcuterie tray. She handled any request we had within minutes and was the best. Pool: there was never a shortage of lounge chairs. We never had to wake up early to rush to “save chairs.” Beverage staff at the pool were also amazing- super attentive, kept the pool decks clean and will bring you anything you heart desires. Gym: there is an adequate amount of cardio machines and weights. It’s very clean and overlooks the ocean. Staff is super friendly. And the fridges are stocked with cold towels, water, Gatorade, fresh fruit and warm drink machines. Restaurants: the breakfast and lunch buffets were outstanding with the widest assortment of exquisite fresh food you can imagine. Crepes, eggs and quesadillas made to order. Fresh fruit and juices, sushi, giant shrimp, ceviche, salad with all the accompaniments were my favorites. Plus desserts that were too beautiful to eat. But I did! Our favorite place for dinner was Lucca, the Italian restaurant. Their pizza was the best pizza we’ve ever had in our life. We actually went back a 2nd night just for the pizza. Juan was our server and was very kind and excellent at what he does. The presentation of every dish at every restaurant is like a work of art. It’s completely indescribable as everything is as tasty as it looks. Grounds: absolutely impeccable and you’ll see staff working 24/7 attending to the landscaping and assuring everything is spotless. Had a great stay at Grand Velas beautiful resort and got to enjoy my friends Wedding. The highlights are the pool the views and the great restaurants. Our concierge Josue Martinez was amazing he helped get my wife’s dress steamed about 10 mins before the wedding with little to no time in between to prepare. He followed up with us everyday and was very attentive our who stay. Made great suggestions and also followed up if you needed anything. Had an amazing time and hope to go back soon thank you to all the wonderful staff.

Our stay at the Grand Velas was simply fantastic …. Very relaxing for the body and soul! The check in process was a breeze, and they had our room ready before normal check-in time; which was wonderful! Ana was extremely helpful and quick to respond to our every need and question. She was able to accommodate our last minute requests, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We throughly enjoyed the food at the Azul, Frida and Lucca restaurants on site, and made good use of their wonderful spa facilities. I would recommend this place without any reservations whatsoever!!!!

We just returned from a fantastic 4-day, 5-night stay at Grand Velas in Los Cabos, and it was truly unforgettable! The resort itself is stunning, with luxurious accommodations and breathtaking views that made every moment special. Our experience was elevated by our personal concierge, Ana Aranda. She was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. From arranging dining reservations to providing local recommendations, Ana made us feel like VIPs. A special shoutout goes to Israel Frias, the head bartender. He took the time to get to know us. We initially signed up for Tequila Tasting and when we arrived the class was full. So we decided to go to the bar and we explained to Alexi the bartender what had occurred. He suggested we wait a few minutes for Israel who was described as the BEST bartender on the resort. We had our very own Tequila Tasting and Historic experience with drinks that matched our tastes perfectly. His friendly demeanor added to the overall warmth of our experience. Overall, Grand Velas exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return. Thank you, Ana and Israel, for making our stay so memorable!

My wife, our son and I booked a 4 night stay at the Grand Velas Resort in Los Cabos in September 2024. At first we were thinking about staying at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach but after reading all the positive reviews about this resort, we decided to stay at this location. Let me say, we DEFINITELY made the right decision! We found out once we got there that between the months of May through October the resort is not as busy. It was only at 19% capacity while we were there, which was okay with us because we enjoy the calmness lol. The resort provides a weekly schedule on different entertaining classes for adults and kids. ROOM During booking, I selected the Ambassador Sunrise Suite but after reviewing the pictures and videos, I decided on upgrading to the Grand Class Corner Suite (which was a surprise to my wife and son). The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious (roughly around 1900 sq. ft) The room included a big hot tub and 4 lookout balconies. The main balcony included a small pool which my son and wife loved! The balcony overlooked the Sea of Cortez and some of the beach/pool areas. At night when we would come back from the restaurant, we would see the room set up for bedtime (sheets turned back, lamps on, slippers near the bed, etc.) This room is definitely a must if/when we go back! SPA I booked a Maternal Caress spa for my wife and she booked an Aromatherapy massage for myself. We both agreed that our masseuse did an amazing job. We both recommend going to spa if possible. They will provide you with a $50 spa credit each day (unfortunately you will not be able to accumulate the credit) Not to say too much but please check out the Water Ceremony. It will not disappoint... RESTAURANTS We were able to attend most of the restaurants at the resort. The buffet (AZUL) had delicious breakfast dishes to choose from (even had an omelette station which i visited a couple of times lol). We ate at LUCCA on the first night which is an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant. Our dinner dishes were top-notch. The appetizer breads were tasty (our son enjoyed them lol). The non-alcoholic drinks were delicious. Second night we went to COCINA DE AUTOR, which is a Michelin star restaurant. This was our first time going to a restaurant like this and it did not disappoint! All 8 dishes were tasty. The chefs did an amazing job decorating each plate they provide you. The environment was beautiful! This restaurant will not disappoint you!!! Third night was VELAS 10, which is a seafood/steak restaurant. We decided on the tomahawk steak which we shared together with some sides. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were tasty. Our last night was FRIDA which was a Mexican restaurant. Our dishes were delicious and the desserts were so good that I ordered a second one lol. We ordered room service a few times during our stay and the dishes were delicious as well. It would usually take around 30 minutes for our food to arrive at our room. The food service
