Very good location staff very helpful had there own carpark and very convenient to all the shops bars and restaurants

Our second stay in Bishops Gate and certainly didn’t disappoint.Smooth checkin and car taken to secure parking.Suitcase brought up to our room and coats hung up whilst we had a drink by the fire.Everything we needed in the beautiful room with bottled water,wine and chocolates!We had booked for 2 nights with 1 evening meal ,however the food was so good in the dining room we decided to dine there for the second evening.Another beautiful meal and breakfast was excellent.We we’re so glad that the hotel accommodated us for an extra night for a very reasonable rate which included breakfast,dinner,secure parking and 2 glasses of Prosecco.Whilst the hotel clearly deserves its 5 stars with its luxurious rooms and public areas it has a quiet relaxed atmosphere which we love.The jewel in the hotels crown is undoubtedly the staff.There’s no evidence of hierarchy as everyone works together and supports each other so well resulting in first class customer service,second to none.Thanks for another lovey stay and hope to see you all very soon.Brendan and Eleanor.Armagh

We booked here for one night at the last minute following a change of plans. The street on which the inn is located is not particularly promising. Fairly shabby and a busy road. Welcome was perfectly pleasant. Parking is available at a public car park nearby and is 50p per hour during working hours. It was quiet but on returning to the car the following morning, we discovered a huge pile of human excrement that a reveller from the previous evening had left behind the car. I won't share a photo! The inn was also fairly shabby and could really do with some TLC. Our room was large and at the front of the property so we faced the full blast from the road. Double glazing kept a lot of the noise out, but it was fairly noisy so choose a room at the back if this is a problem for you. Beds were comfortable and clean and bathroom was functional but again quite basic. Breakfast was fine. I has the full Irish breakfast and it was quickly served. Location is pretty good. You are very close to the river and a five minute walk across the bridge takes you to the centre of the City. We paid £89 for the night and that included breakfast. We were also advised by locals that the pub next door was not very welcoming so gave it a miss. Overall I wouldn't personally stay there again as it was a little too shabby for me to enjoy it but if you just wanted a well located place with parking and a decent bed, it would be OK. We also have to accept the challenges that lockdown has placed on small businesses so I can understand that it is not easy or cheap to keep places in tip top condition

Nur eine Nacht geblieben, auf dem Weg nach Belfast. Haben Sie zu sagen, dass das Personal sehr nett und verständlich war, wir kamen ein wenig spät und sehr hungrig, wurden Abendessen serviert und lassen Sie uns sagen, dass das Personal sehr verständlich mit unserer Reaktion war!!!! Schöne Berührung des zu gehenden Gepäcks zum Frühstück und die Tassen abnehmen bei der Kaffeemaschine!!!

Das Personal dieses Hotels ist so begrüßenswert. Sie konnten nicht genug für Sie tun, mit einem Lächeln auf ihrem Gesicht und großem Humor. Katie und das Personal der Rezeption konnten mir nicht mehr helfen, zwischen den Buszeiten und die große Gruppe, mit der ich in ihren Zimmern sortiert war. Ich musste einen Bus fangen und war unermüdlich, im Hotel zu essen, da ich nicht wusste, wie lange es dauern würde. Als ich das der wunderschönen Michelle erwähnte (das wahre Leben von Derry), war sie auf einer Mission, um sicherzustellen, dass ich vor meinen Reisen nach Belfast gefüttert wurde. Ich konnte in 30 Minuten drei Kurse haben und machte es für den Bus zufrieden und lächeln ganz und gar denken, was eine wirklich wunderschöne Mädchen Michelle war. Sie machte die Erfahrung noch wunderschöner. Ich muss sagen, dass der salzete Karamelsaft für Dessert war wirklich großartig, ich würde nicht für Desserts sein, aber das war zu sterben. Bitte tun Sie, was Sie tun, meine Damen, Ihre Liebe Geister mehr als Sie begreifen.

Lovely hotel lovely staff have stayed here a few times

Erhielt eine Nachricht von Serendipity zu sagen, wie sie Lebensmittel und voll gelagerte Bar etc. nur am Morgen des Tages, an dem wir Yay angekommen. Auf der Ankunft erzählte Bar ist geschlossen .. oh offensichtlich Personalmangel Aber der Besitzer ist da sagen uns das Okay 🤷🏼‍♂️ Bucht ein Dreibettzimmer und wieder sagt Dreibett und ein Einzelbett, aber es war ein SMALL Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett Aber wieder kein Problem, wie wir Familie sind 🤷🏼‍♂️ Zum Derry,,, Großer Ort Next morning Yay Frühstück Head down und nur kontinental ,, schöne Auswahl, aber wirklich !! Lady that showed us to the table said no cooked breakfast as it’s during the weekend and they only did cook at the weekend 🤣 owner said sorry no chef .. what ?? But you could do it !! nearly forgot.. Sagt Parkplatz 👍 Ja es gibt, aber es ist Pot Glück, da es auf einer Wohnstraße 🤷🏼‍♂️ Ich würde hier noch einmal bleiben oder empfehlen diesen Ort ... NO Plus Punkt ist es in einer einfachen Spazierweiterung der Stadt. Ich möchte nicht negativen Feedback zu hinterlassen, aber der Besitzer machte keine Anstrengungen und sagte nur Personalmangel und ok fair genug, aber wie über die setzen Sie es auf der Website oder E-Mail so der Kunde weiß, was nicht zu erwarten.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Wir gingen zu einer Motown Show, die großartig war. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, alles was wir brauchten und die Nahrung und der Service waren hervorragend. Der Empfangsmann bei der Ankunft war sehr willkommen. Der Pianist im Haus war auch ein schöner Kontakt. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung und wir würden wieder bleiben.

Das Hotel ist etwas veraltet, aber die Betten sind bequem und die Zimmer sind sauber. Es gibt eine gewisse Entfernung vom Stadtzentrum, die für selbstfahrende, bequeme Parkplätze geeignet ist. In der Nähe der Kathedrale gibt es ein chinesisches Restaurant mit dem Auto. Der Preis ist nicht billig, aber der Geschmack ist gut. Ein chinesischer Kellner kann Ihnen bei der Bestellung helfen.

As a couple with young kids who rarely get the chance to escape on our own it is absolutely wonderful to get the opportunity to stay here when we do. Having stayed in many stunning hotel over the years the Shipquay is one of our newer favourites. The hotel is welcoming and stylish. The staff are amazing, their friendliness towards guests and attention to detail is above par and was on this occassion also. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious & beautufuly presented. There's a nice cocktail menu too. Despite it being very busy that night our every whim was catered to. The little things like prosecco on arrival and treats in our room along with luxury robes & voya toiletries all make this hotel a very relaxing stay. The location is great. Parking though not available on sight is available easily nearby. We love this hotel and look to visit when we can. Bliss 😊
