We stayed at this hotel as somewhere to sleep whilst we did some family trips in London. What made the hotel stand out for us was the staff. Unfortunately we were one of the last to come down for breakfast and the kids had set their hearts on croissants. They hotel had run out though and they were a bit disappointed as there wasn’t much else they fancied. One of the waitresses however came out with her own personal croissant that she had put back for her breakfast and gave it to my daughter. That was way above and beyond and so kind. Thank you so much!

We always stay at the Lion & Key when we visit London and have been fortunate enough to stay here again in October, December, and also January for my husbands 80th birthday. This really is the ”Savoy” of the small hotels in London and we always know without fail, we will have the most perfect stay. All the staff genuinely care about their guests having the best experience and you cannot fault the care and attention to detail that this hotel takes to ensure an excellent customer experience. They have a great team of which we would like to thank Giorgio, Kanti and Stephania for making all our visits a home away from home. The rooms and also public areas in the hotel are kept pristinely clean and are bright and cheerful. I love the attention to detail this hotel has even with the smallest thing. i.e. the shower cap in the bathroom also has a small hairband in the box ,which is excellent if you have long hair and can’t find your own! The beds are also extremely comfortable and we both always have an excellent night sleep. We love the open kitchen where you can see all the food being freshly prepared and cooked to order. They are very generous with their breakfast time which doesn’t end until 12 o’clock lunchtime. The choice and range that they offer in their restaurant, regardless of breakfast or main meals throughout the day would accommodate even the most fussiest eaters, which I am, but even I am extremely spoilt for choice as the breakfast menu is so comprehensive. The quality of the ingredients used in the restaurant is first class and so is the time and care in presentation which also reflects the pride that they take. We can honestly say that the breakfast’s we have at the L&K are the most tastiest, freshest, consistently perfect breakfast’s we have ever had and far exceed the quality that we have experienced over the years in 4 & 5 star hotels. To be honest, we often wonder how they continuously provide such care and attention to detail for the customer, even more so since Covid as many many hotels and restaurants seem to still use this as an excuse for a less than perfect service or menu range. We must’ve had over 100 of breakfasts since we have been coming here in 2018 and the eggs are always perfectly cooked with a lovely orange yolk, regardless of whether it’s a normal full English breakfast, or my husbands favorite the Egg Royale. We very rarely eat sausages or bacon at home, but the quality and taste of the ones here are amazing, so we always, always enjoy our breakfast which set us up for exploring all day. The transport links to this hotel are excellent as well. There are four buses that go past the hotel to Leyton underground, one of which is running 24 hours and they seem to come by every few minutes. Stratford is only four stops from Leyton so excellent connections for overground, DLR, O2 etc. Liverpool Street is the next stop along for even more connections so the location we find is a great asset to wherever we

Das Zimmer war sauber, sehr komfortabel und hatte einen großen Blick auf das London Stadium. Die Lage war erstaunlich, neben einem riesigen Stratford Shopping Centre und zum U-Bahnhof mit vielen U-Bahnlinien. Das Personal war freundlich, professionell und sehr hilfreich. KUDO an das Concierge Personal, vor allem NALEEF, DANIEL, UND EIN ANDERE GEMEINSAME (entschuldigt! Ich habe seinen Namen vergessen). Meine Frau wurde in London geholfen. Das Personal der Concierge, insbesondere Naleef, ging über und über ihre Pflicht hinaus, uns bei unseren Notsituationen zu helfen. Er hat uns angewiesen, die Diebstahl an die Londoner Polizei zu melden, und auch das Concierge-Personal hat uns enorm geholfen, mit unseren gestohlenen Kreditkarten umzugehen. Wir haben wirklich geschätzt, was diese erstaunlichen Mitarbeiter für uns getan haben. Vielen Dank an Naleef, Daniel und alle Concierge Mitarbeiter, die uns so willkommen und für all Ihre unvergessliche Hilfe während unseres Aufenthalts. Die Welt braucht mehr von diesen Leuten wie Ihre Concierge Mitarbeiter. Hyatt sollte sehr stolz sein, diese erstaunlichen Concierge-Personal zu haben. Wir werden sicherlich in Zukunft wieder in dieses Hyatt Hotel und würden dieses Hyatt Hotel für jeden sehr empfehlen!

Wir haben am Ibis Budget Barking an einer der heißesten Nächte des Jahres geblieben. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte brillant, so hatten wir eine viel bessere Nacht als Freunde, die in einem viel teureren Hotel im Zentrum von London geblieben waren! Wir waren an einer Veranstaltung an der University of East London SportsDock teilnehmen. Es war sehr einfach zu erreichen - nur einen kurzen Spaziergang zum Bushalte von Tesco, eine Busfahrt 19-minute, die uns sehr nahe an der Ort - so Ibis Budget Barking ist ideal für jemand, der zu etwas in East London gehen möchte. Die Vorderseite des Hauspersonals war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Ich habe diese 4 statt 5 als Kessel bewertet, sollte ein Standardangebot in allen Zimmern (in Ibis Budget Portsmouth hatten wir eine Kessel). Aber im Allgemeinen ist eine ausgezeichnete Budget-Position.

Really nice welcome from staff both at the concierge desk and reception. Even a glass of sparkling wine on arrival in some lovely cut glass 'vintage' style glasses. I'm not normally a sparkling wine fan, but I enjoyed this one. I'd love to know what it was but I forgot to ask! Room was very nice, and based in the more modern 'Barlow' wing. Not quite the historic side of building alas - felt very much the servants quarters of the hotel! But room had charm still, and everything is of an incredible quality. Also in the room was a really lovely postcard with a welcome message on it, and a St Pancras themed chocolate bar, utilising some of the mosaic patterns from around the hotel and station in its design. I especially liked the 'hidden' plug socket on the bedside table, which was in the perfect place for my overnight charging stuff. It was also delightful having a very large round dining table in the room, it was nice to grab lunch downstairs, bring it back to the room and eat it at a proper table whilst relaxing in peace and quiet. The windows in these rooms do not open, unfortunately. It would have been nice to have had at least a vent option available to us, but the A/C did keep a fairly consistent temperature. Platinum benefits ended up being a slight room upgrade, and late check out. It was originally 3pm, but I checked again in the morning and 4pm was now possible due to some early checkouts - this was a huge relief as that extra hour meant we could have a much more relaxing day as it timed perfectly for our onward travel. As a platinum member, I was granted access to the chambers club. Wow. Simply wow. What a space! Easily the best lounge I've visited. Absolutely super, the staff amazing too. I was just sad I only really got to experience when it was just about to close for the evening, and the breakfast, and not any of the famous early evening selections. At the time of writing (March 2023) the Chambers Club is open from 0700 to 2200 with Breakfast from 0700 to 1100 weekdays, 1200 on weekends. The evening service is between 1700 and 2000, and Hors-d'oeuvre are served from 1730 til 1930. (It is self-service between midday and 1630). At breakfast the next morning a bountiful supply of anything you could think of at a breakfast buffet. The only disappointment was the eggs. I think a kilo of butter went into every batch. But. I’ve yet to find a single luxury hotel that does scrambled eggs correctly at the buffet so I cannot judge too harshly. And when that D'Longhi toaster goes to 'small electrical appliance heaven', I hope it gets replaced by a Dualit. I went on a self-guided walking tour of the hotel in the morning too with help from some of the staff by way of directions. The highlights being; The grand staircase, which is an engineering wonder in itself and worth the climb, And on the 1st floor you are rewarded with the painting of The Garden of Deduit by the Scottish artist Thomas Wallis Hay. Alles über dieses Apartment war perfekt! Es war sauber und die Aussicht war schön. Das Personal war freundlich. Der einzige Nebenteil war die Parkgebühr, die £16 pro Nacht betrug. Andere als dass es ein toller Aufenthalt war!

Lieblings · Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sauber. Der Besitzer war zunächst freundlich - ich fragte nach Zeit, sagte sie nicht zu besorgen - wann immer ich bereit war, was eine wunderschöne Antwort war. Parken war einfach. Das Badezimmer war gut vorgestellt. Unlieblich · Die Dusche war schaltend - als ich dem Besitzer sagte, sie sagte, 'viele Leute' hatte sich beschwert, aber der Schuld war bei mir (und den vorangegangenen Menschen) weil wir den Schalen nicht verwendeten. Ich habe den Schalen verwendet und es schaltete. Da viele Leute sich beschwert haben, ist die Frage eindeutig die Dusche und nicht 'viele Leute'. Sie sagte später, das waren 2 Personen. Der Besitzer war feindlich bei meiner Beschwerde, was wirklich nicht unvernünftig ist. Das Zimmer ist schüchtern (siehe Bilder). Die Gürtel passen nicht, sind nicht richtig gehängt (siehe Bilder). Die Möbel sind sp**** und schabby (siehe Bilder). Windows-Rahmen scheint geschwungen. Löcher in den Gürteln (siehe Bilder). Das Bett ist sofort schüttelt, sobald es berührt wird. Der Besitzer, als ich über die Dusche beschwerte, sagte, sie sei kein 5-Sterne-Hotel, sie ist ein 0-Sterne-Hotel. Das ist wirklich nicht gut genug. Die Grundsätze, die ich erwarten, sind ein Bett, das nicht schüttelt und eine Dusche, die nützlich ist.

Wir waren für 4 Tage im good hotel und alles war in Ordnung. Natürlich muss man die Qualität zu anderen Ländern beachten. Meine Freundin und ich empfanden das Preis Leistungsverhältnis vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten waren bequem. London typisch etwas klein aber immernoch in Ordnung. Lediglich die Badezimmer sind wirklich klein, das ist das einzige das uns. Gestört hat. Die Lobby ist schön eingerichtet, das Hotel befindet sich an der Emirates Seilbahn, allein die Fahrt mit der Seilbahn ist schon eine absolute attraktion. Das WLAN war top, es gab keine Schwierigkeiten. Besuch fand im Juni 2019 statt
