I live in the area, and I had to book a two-night stay here, as my flat had no water. However, I did not dare to sleep here, due to the shocking condition of this place: everything extremey dirty, mould in the bathroom, dirty underwear and other rubbish found under the bed (see pictures attached), a screw used as a shower handle, and I could continue on and on... My room was in the basement to start with, with reallly poor ventilation and a fake window. The door was not closing properly, as the lock was fault. When I entered, one fo the two beds seemed used, and all sort of dirty found on the carpet under it, with the infamous pair of used male underwear being the highlight. The bathroom and shower was mouldy, but at least the water pressure was acceptable. No toiletris provided, except two small bar soaps and an almost empty bottle of liquid hand soap. In the Heath & Safety card hanged at the door it is written "Bank nearby" as designated assemby point...The only issue is that the Barclays Bank that used t be next door close down in 2017 and now there is a Cafè instead. Maybe it's time to update that card... Don't even try to speak wth a memebr of staff after 11pm...He is in the back office sleeping peacefully in his pijama, and the moment he steps out, he is really annoyed of having been disturbed. In the end, I was so disgusted, I decided not to sleep here. I really don't know how places ike this still exist in London, and dare to charge £70.00 a night (or more), without providing the minimum service required (no WiFi or breakfast option provided), Go to Travelodge or Premeir Inn, or a similar cheap hotel chain instead. At least you know what to expect and the price range is similar.
