We absolutely love this place and have been here many times—it’s always one of our top choices! The food is always delicious and the art and décor make the atmosphere really special. The toilets are spotless, and the staff are always professional and friendly. Can't recommend it enough!

A lovely early evening birthday celebration meal for 6 friends. Wonderful food, ( large dessert portions) drinks wine and cocktails , excellent service. Including a complimentary birthday surprise dessert and candle for birthday lady.

What has happened to this beautiful hotel? Dropped in for a pre concert drink and was very disappointed. Wine was mediocre- a white burgundy was everything but! Served by a surly staff member slouching around wearing a gilet - in August! Knowledge of their wine list was non existent which in a 5 star establishment is most unusual and totally unacceptable Eye contact was avoided I had to go up to the bar to request the bill. The music in the bar was very loud and ‘clubby’ In the recent past it was subtle background music. Yesterdays musical offering was an assault on the ear drums and made conversation difficult The bins in the ladies powder room were overflowing. A great pity, as the location is superb but sadly this once iconic hotel is now on a par with a bog standard two star establishment

The porters are very friendly and helpful. We were a family of four with two rooms. Both were beautiful, quiet, comfortable, and the bottle of evening bedside water was appreciated every night. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, and found the servers to be welcoming and attentive. Every day it was a treat to return to the hotel's convenient location after hours of exploring the city.

Too many people to pick out individually. Every person we interacted with at the hotel was as lovely as could be. Every request was met with enthusiasm. I want to point out that on our last night in London, the concierge had arranged with the restaurant we dined at to have all of our beverages paid for. So generous! Also loved the location. Close to Soho, Covent Garden, and Theatre District. Hotel was always filled with beautiful flowers. Couldn’t recommend Charlotte Street Hotel more highly! Thank you to all!

We were a family party of five in three rooms, two of which were upgraded. From the moment of arrival we were treated with efficiency, professionalism and friendliness by all staff at all levels. Rooms were stylish and practical. Room service was exemplary and swift. Breakfasts each morning were excellent and plentiful. We were sorry to leave - and hope to return.

Trying for find that go to hotel in London is fun…..but Charlotte Street was frustrating and good all in one. The room was beautiful and clean (no view but wasn’t expecting anything) Bathroom was an adequate size with a lovely walk in shower (no bath) shower gel and shampoo lovely. Good sized wardrobe for two nights but no longer. There is no water in the room when you arrive but they do put a bottle each out at night. No iron or ironing board but when requested was delivered quickly. Safe was closed and could not open it. There are no tea and coffee faciilties which is really unusual for a UK hotel. We asked for some and a tray with Keller and cups was left when we were out….however they tried to charge me For this on leaving - which I refused. Most decent hotels that don’t have this in the room provide this free of charge to rooms as part of the cost. Honesty bar a nice idea but soft drinks astronomically high. Maybe water and tea/coffee could be provided here for free? Very comfy bed but not would would Return due to the little things

I booked 2 superior rooms for a special trip for myself and my three daughters . The hotel itself if beautifully appointed and well positioned , I wanted a ‘boutique’ atmosphere I was prepared to splash out for this trip, but I felt the place is very mercenary , the price of £600 per room didn’t even include and if you opt to using the buffet table as well as having something cooked it would have cost another £50 per head . My breakfast Oscar’s eggs Benedict was served tepid , the coffee wasn’t hot either . The waiting staff are not happy smiley people , there is no service with a smile . Poor value for money at these prices they need to do a lot better .

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel! The team is lovely and so helpful. There was always a smiling person at the door or reception to greet you and answer questions. Every meal we had at the restaurant and in room service was amazing, and made even better by the team, especially Jack, Kate & Lauren. The room was beautiful and pristine. I especially loved housekeeping’s creativity with placing my purse & hats on the Kit Kemp mannequin. Fabulous stay!
