Die Lage ist relativ zentral mit nur 5 min. Fussweg bis zur Drachenbrücke. Bis zur Metelkova sind es nur 7 min.. Wer mit dem Auto anreist sollte einen Parkplatz reservieren. Wir waren von Samstag Nachmittag bis Montag Vormittag und konnten deshalb umsonst in den naheliegenden Strassen parken. Werktags ab 7:00 werden die Parkplätze jedoch kostenpflichtig und werden auch kontrolliert. Das Hotel befindet sich am Ende einer Strasse und ist mit dem Auto nur über versenkbare Poller zu erreichen. Klingel zum Hotel befinden sich an den Pollern. Das Hotel und die Zimmer erfüllten ihren Zweck. Betten waren bequem, Zimmer und Bad sauber. Platz für einen großen Koffer und kleinere Taschen. Auf dem Hotelflur konnte man die Gäste und Türen hören. Es war aber alles ertragbar. Das Hotel hat eine geniale Terrasse auf dem Dach, die im Sommer sicher genutzt wird. Wir konnten zwar noch die Aussicht geniessen, jedoch lud das Wetter uns nicht ein zu verweilen. Das Frühstück ist einfach. Die Säfte bestanden gefühlt zu 99% aus Wasser. Wenn es der Geldbeutel erlaubt also lieber woanders frühstücken. Die Stadt selbst ist ein einziges Schlemmerparadies. Es wird sich was finden!

Modernes Hotel, von dem aus man fussläufig schnell in der Altstadt ist. Tiefgarage kostet € 18, ist aber unbedingt zu empfehlen. Der Parkplatz gegenüber ist meist überfüllt. Zimmer mit Fenster zum absolut ruhigen Innenhof sind selbstredend zu bevorzugen. Die Räume sind etwas beengt, jedoch sehr sauber und man fühlt sich wohl. Das Frühstückbufett ist landestypisch und vermag den international erfahrenen Reisegast in gar keiner Weise zufrieden zu stellen. Dabei geht es weniger um das Angebot als viel mehr um die Tatsache, dass das Buffet nicht richtig betreut und gewartet wird. Kalte Würstchen, leicht angewärmte Bohnen und nur lauwarmes Rührei will niemand gerne. Hervorzuheben ist das hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Personal. Wir können das Haus empfehlen.

PRO: Top Lage, nur wenigen Gehminuten vom Zentrum. Nette Dachterrasse, auf der man sich zwischendurch mit Blick auf die Burg ausruhen kann. Zimmer neu renoviert. Check-In sehr freundlich, uns wurde ein Parkplatz in 3 Min Entfernung empfohlen, der gerade mal 1/3 der Tiefgarage gekostet hat. CON: Wie schon mehrmals berichtet wurde, sehr unangenehme Bad-Situation! Ein ”Badezimmer” in dem Sinne gibt es nicht, Toilette und Dusche stehen praktisch im Zimmer und können nur mit einer Milchglas-Schiebetür notdürftig abgetrennt werden. Größtes Manko für uns: Das Frühstück, welches im Café Simit unten eingenommen wird. Unfassbar gelangweiltes, unfreundliches Personal... als Hotelgast ist man hier leider nur Kunde 3. Klasse und darf z.B. auch nicht draußen auf der (um 8 Uhr leeren) Terrasse sitzen, sondern nur im Hinterzimmerchen des Cafés. Zur Auswahl gibt es Brot, Mini-Croissants, in Plastik verpackte Butter & Marmelade, etwas Obst und Kaffee/Saft aus dem Automaten. Dass man zusätzlich noch z.B. Eierspeisen bestellen kann, sagt einem vorsichtshalber gar keiner. Selbst Käse / Wurst gibt es nur auf Bestellung - jeweils 3 Scheiben auf einen Teller zu werfen, hat allerdings eine geschlagene Viertelstunde gedauert - bis dahin ist man mit dem ansonsten dürftigen Frühstück lange fertig. Sehr sehr schade! Das Hotel sollte sich hier dringend eine Alternative überlegen!

In der ersten Nacht wurde mein Zimmer herabgestuft (von der unteren Etage auf die obere Etage), ohne dass ich vorher informiert wurde und ohne Entschädigung oder auch nur um Entschuldigung gebeten wurde.
In der zweiten Nacht wurde ich aus meinem Zimmer ausgesperrt.
Diese schreckliche Erfahrung für die Dienstleistungsbranche ist keineswegs inakzeptabel …

Wir haben mit 3 Erwachsenen im Hotel eingecheckt. Laut Buchung kein Problem mit 3 Erwachsenen in eine Junior Suite zu Übernachten. Dank Ambassador, upgrade auf eine Suite bekommen. Suite war groß und Badezimmer gut ausgestattet. Beim betreten der Suite ist uns dann aufgefallen, das für den 3. Erwachsenen keine Schlafmöglichkeit vorhanden war. Zusätzliche Couch im Wohnbereich war keine Schlafcouch. Problem wurde dann zwar schnell mit einem Zustellbett erledigt, hätte aber beim Check-in oder Buchungseingang schon auffallen sollen. Dann gab es auch erst dritte Handtücher und so. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt im Hotel angenehm, Wellnessbereich haben wir auch genutzt, Massagen waren professionell und Poolbereich sauber, gepflegt mit tollem Ausblick über die Stadt. Das Angebot in der Club Lounge ist Standard, schade dass es zur Tee-Time keine bessere Auswahl an Küchlein oder Törtchen gegeben hat, waren immer Schnittchen, Kekse und Donuts. Happy Hour war wiederum gut und abwechslungsreich, für 2 Stunden freien Alkohol ist Top und die kleinen Häppchen waren lecker. Der Service beim Frühstück war leicht unkoordiniert, bis man bemerkt wurde verging einige Zeit, obwohl genug Kellner:innen da waren. Ich bekam sogar einen kalten abgestandenen Kaffee, ”sowas geht nicht”. Es wurde aber schnell ein Neuer gebracht und sich entschuldigt. Sonst war alles beim Frühstück dabei, was man brauchte.

Wir haben für ein Wochenende mit Kleinkind die Junior Suite gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Es gab einen kleinen Balkon, bei dem leider etwas die Aussicht fehlte da die Trennwand sehr hoch war. Das Schwimmbad war ebenfalls sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt 2 Saunen, einen Kicker und einen Billard Tisch, sowie Fitness Raum. Parkplätze sind kostenlos und ausreichend . Das Highlight ist aber das Frühstücksbuffet, welches wirklich keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wir waren schon in vielen Städten und Hotels zu Gast , nirgendwo gab es so ein gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb und mit dem Auto knapp 15 Minuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Abendessen ist im Hotel sehr teuer, hier empfiehlt sich ein Restaurant außerhalb. Der Zoo ist in der Nähe und einen Besuch wert. Das Personal im Hotel ist gut aufgestellt und zahlreich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We stayed here for our first visit to Slovenia and this place was very impressive overall. The staff were really friendly and helpful - we were given a map of the city and information about the buses on arrival which was very useful to get us started on our trip. The room was very comfortable, the bed was roomy and the mattress was the perfect firmness. The bathroom was nice and modern and the shower was very powerful. The aircon was a bit weak and could do with upgrading, but we weren't too hot while we were staying there. The bar area was very nice to chill and have some drinks and the service was always prompt. We hadn't realised prior to booking that the hotel did not serve evening meals, but this was not too much of an issue as we ordered take out using the Wolt app and went out for meals in the city. The breakfast selection was outstanding and we really enjoyed the mini pastries and the fresh coffee. There is also a Lidl right next to the hotel which was very handy for snacks and toiletries if needed. The bus into the city was just outside the hotel and was very cheap (just €1.30 into the city centre) and only took around 15 minutues. It was a great way to see the area and they ran every 20 mins or so. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others. A big thank you to all of the hotel staff who made us feel very welcome and made our trip very smooth.

Es war komfortabel und sauber. Belegen in der Nähe des Wohnbereichs Die Dusche ist ok und Bett und Matratzen ist auch komfortabel! Aber der schlimmste Teil ist, dass der eine und nur der Aufzug am Tag, an dem wir auscheckten, abgebrochen. Wir kämpfen wie die Hölle, um unsere großen Taschen auf die Treppen zu bringen ohne Hilfe von der Hotelpersonal. Erst später hörte ich, dass es ein oder zwei Helfer vom Hotel waren, die diejenigen unterstützen, die ihre Gepäck abbringen müssen.

Wir hatten nach der Beschreibung der Website des Hotels ein Atriumzimmer gebucht. Das was man uns jedoch als Zimmer angeboten hat, entsprach in keinster Weise der Beschreibung. Besagtes „Atrium“ war ein ca . 1 Meter breiter Schlitz, zwar nach oben offen, aber noch mind. 3 Geschosse darüber. Es gab somit kein spürbares Tageslicht. Das Zimmer hatte viel Design,mit wenig funktionalem Anspruch. Der Schrank war sehr übersichtlich,damit mehr Platz für die Minibar blieb. Die versprochen Bademäntel gab es auch nicht. Wie man den Wasserkocher oder ein normales Glas hätte befallen können, konnten wir nicht rausfinden, da zwischen Waschbecken und Wasserhahn ca. 7 cm Platz vorhanden war. Die Krönung war der direkte Blick vom Bett,durch die Glastüre aus das WC! Zusätzlich ergoss sich mit jeder WC Spülung ein Schwall Wasser vorne durch die WC-Brille auf den Boden. Sehr hygienisch… Das Zimmer wurde als ruhig beschrieben, liegt jedoch neben dem Putzraum, welcher ab 6.30 Uhr eifrig genutzt wird. Gerne wird auch ab 7 Uhr auf dem Korridor gesaugt. Ebenfalls lag unser Zimmer über der Küche, dass wir die Frühstücksvorbereitungen ebenfalls live mitbekommen haben. Als wir uns beschwert haben, war die Entschuldigung recht schmallippig. Entgegen der schriftlichen Aussage, dass der angezahlte Betrag erst beim Checkout abgebucht würde, wurde das Geld vorab abgebucht. Preis-Leistung steht ins absolut keinem Verhältnis!

2 . В тренажерном зале очень плохое оборудование и плохая вентиляция. Вы должны дышать запахом резины от пола.

GGastnutzerDas Austria Trend Hotel ist ein Hotel, das sehr gut geführt wird. Die Leute an der Rezeption waren mir besonders hilfreich, als ich den Computer zum Schreiben eines Artikels benutzte. Das Zimmer ist besonders groß und bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Landschaft. Das Fenster lässt sich öffnen, sodass man frische Luft hereinlassen kann. Das Zimmermädchen war beim Reinigen des Zimmers besonders gründlich. Das Restaurant bot eine große Auswahl an Gerichten und der Kellner war sehr nett. Der Bus hält direkt vor dem Hotel und mit einer Karte kommt man leicht in die Innenstadt. Es gibt auch ein Spa und Massagen, aber ich hatte einfach nicht die Gelegenheit, sie zu nutzen. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt im Austria Trend Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

GGuest UserGreat hotel - it’s a shame that the staff let it down.
Prior to our arrival, we contacted the hotel to let them know that we would be arriving after check-in had closed (at 10pm). They were very helpful and provided us with instructions to enter the property by ourselves using an app.
When we arrived, we managed to get into the lobby (using the app), but the room key we were given was different than the one we were told on the phone and email. As a result, we were unable to enter our assigned room.
Assuming that our room number had been changed, we tried the key in the door that matched the new number (as there were no staff or guests around, and no one was answering the phone or emails). It opened and revealed a couple, asleep, inside. Obviously, we were mortified that we had disturbed the hotel guests, and also terrified that we would have to sleep in the hotel lobby until check-in opened at 6am.
After about an hour of searching around the lobby for clues about who to contact, we knocked on some private doors. Thankfully, a man came out and used a master key to let us in. It was clear that we had woken him up (by this point it was 2am). Again, we were sorry to have done so, but were left with no choice.
After we had successfully entered our room, I sent an email to the front desk letting them know what had just happened and that we would like them to apologise (on our behalf) to the guests and staff we woke up. They never replied. In fact, every time we mentioned it, the staff member made excuses like “I wasn’t there so I don’t have anything to do with it” and “the guy who organised the late check-in was training so he made a mistake”. There was absolutely nothing in the way of an apology or compensation for the mix-up until we checked out and it was already too late. We would like the hotel to know that mistakes are bound to happen, so it is imperative that they have a back-up (emergency number or night staff) for guests who have been given the wrong room key.
In addition, since we had been travelling for a while, we were running out of clothes and needed to do a load of laundry. We followed the instructions for the housekeeping staff to collect our laundry but found that when we had returned to the hotel, the laundry had not been done and the room had not been made up. When we went downstairs to inform the staff of this, we were told “housekeeping doesn’t go back to rooms to clean them after you took off the do not disturb sign, I’ve worked in lots of hotels and this is always the policy”. This member of staff eventually helped us find an laundromat, but the contempt with which we were spoken to was unacceptable and uncaring of the fact that we, too, have plenty of experience in the hotel industry as customers. An apology would have sufficed.
Overall, it was a great hotel in a fantastic location. Just make sure you’re okay with passive aggressive communication before you book.

When we checked in, one of the front desk staff (Gregory) was quite cold, rude and not very welcoming. The only person that we found friendly, professional and welcoming was Gian-Luka. He checked some of the group in, explained where we could get a nice meal locally, where to book tours and also checked the next day how it went etc. He was always friendly whereas the others did not even acknowledge us in the morning or when we got back to the hotel after a day out! They just stared at us!! The rooms were ok but some of the group members who are married were not happy as were given single beds etc. I complained to my main contact and she got the rooms changed the next day. Some of the group members were not impressed so mixed reviews. The rooms were big, beds big and comfortable. Fluffy towels and toiletries were provided. The cleaning of the rooms could be improved as on one occasion, the bin was not emptied and I had to contact the front desk. On another occasion, a duster was left on the toilet seat! The beverages in the room had no milk provided so I asked for milk one night and was told I had to pay €5! I refused to pay and insisted that housekeeping should have provided some for tea and coffee like other hotels before some milk was brought up to my room. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff were friendlier. Special thanks to Linda J, who I dealt with me when booking for the group. She was very nice, accommodating and professional throughout even when I made some changes to the bookings. She also recommended a good company for our Airport transfers. She even came down to see me when I complained about some rooms and apologised. I would have given a better score but the front desk staff have let the hotel down this time. A little smile goes a long way and helps in repeat guests and recommendation!

GGuest UserDies ist eine kleine Geschichte über die Bedeutung vor dem Haus und dass der Kundenservice für die Führung eines Hotels unerlässlich ist. Ich kann versichern, dass ich keine Karen bin und ich nicht leicht zu stören. Wir kamen nur für eine Nacht auf einer Geschäftsreise, erschöpft von dem Auto aus einer anderen Seite Slowenien. Wir kamen um 5 Uhr, mit 20 Grad und volles Sonnenlicht draußen durch Glasfenster des Hotels. Obwohl es heißt, das Hotel hat Klimaanlage nachdem wir die Rezeption informiert haben, dass es nicht funktioniert, unsere Rezeptionisten (der sieht aus wie sie einen schlechten Tag hatte) erklärten, dass es IST Winter. Und die Klimaanlage ist nicht im gesamten Hotel betrieben. Verwenden Sie stattdessen die Fenster. Wir haben von dem Kaffee geträumt. Nicht ein einziges Kessel zu verwenden im gesamten Hotel, Restaurant geschlossen. Wir konnten nicht einmal eine Flasche Wasser kaufen (kein Wasser im Zimmer). Wir gingen in die Stadt. Wir haben einen Parkplatz mit einer Einzahlung von 20 £ für den Parkplatz erhalten und am Abend vor unserer sehr beschäftigten Abreise wollte ich ihn zurückgeben. Ich habe gesagt, dass ich meine Autos morgens loslegen muss, den Parkplatz auflegen, das Auto in der Mitte der Straße mit keinem anderen Parkplatz verfügbar verlassen, mich zurück zum Hoteltisch und dann wieder geben. Als ich sagte, es ist ziemlich problematisch, heute Morgen so zu tun, wie ich heute Abend zurückkehren möchte, wurde mir mit großer Entschuldigung verurteilt, dass ich es tun muss, sonst wird mein Einlagen nicht zurückgegeben. Ich hörte sie mich in Slowenien schlagen, als ich auf den Aufzug wartete. Ich hoffe, jemand nimmt die Notizen für die Personalausbildung... Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, etwas klein für meinen Liebling, aber gut für Geld.

GGuest UserWij sliepen 1 nacht in dit hotel. Het is er zeer proper en bedden zijn comfortabel. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Het is Covid proof. Gratis parking en een zeer lekker ontbijt. Ljubljana is ongeveer 10km hier vandaan. Makkelijk bereikbaar met de auto. Verder is hier niet veel in de buurt. Wij betaalden €60 voor 1 nacht. Ontbijt is ter plaatse bij te boeken.

NNorthmaniaL'auberge n'est qu'a 5 minutes à pied de la gare, ne pas chercher l'entrée, la réception se fait dans le pub Anglais, il faut laisser une petite caution pour la clé à votre arrivée. Les chambres sont à l'étage de ce pub, elles sont spacieuses, les lits sont de bonne qualité, coffre sous le lit pour mettre ses affaires. Salle de bains et toilette propre et en nombre correct. Le centre-ville n'est qu'à 5-10 minutes à pied. Le petit point négatif est qu'il n'y a pas vraiment de réception en cas de besoin, ni de cuisine ou de salle commune. Bien pour quelques nuits.

MMike CaliforniaDas Zimmer ist gut, sauber und ziemlich, jedoch keine Klimaanlage, daher spät am Nachmittag Wärme ist eine Frage. Obwohl es in der Mitte Mai Saison abkühlt nachts.
Das Badezimmer hat ein Duschbad, aber es ist schmal mit Vorhang am Rande, so ist es schwer, um sich umzudrehen, wenn in der Dusche. Das Frühstück ist groß. Für einen Nachtaufenthalt ist es insgesamt guter Ort, zu bleiben.

DDanielReasonable private room hostel for the price. Good for a short stay. Very clean snd not too far from central Ljubljana. My only issues were the other guests were noisy snd did not respect the quiet hours rule - talking loudly in the hallway till late at night. Also the bed was not a queen bed as listed - it was two single mattresses pushed together- so I could only really sleep on one side.
