Hotel Helvetia

We booked our stay at Hotel Helvetia through Steve Barron, Managing Director at Livigno Ski Holidays. The duration of our stay was from 7 January to 14 January 2023. The board basis was Bed & Breakfast. Although the accommodation/rooms were great and Hotel Helvetia is in a good location in the town, the food was horrific, tasteless and cold. The language barrier also made it difficult to communicate with them effectively. As an example, my family and I were supposed to check in at 15h00 on 7 January 2023. We arrived at 15h30, but the rooms still weren’t ready. On the morning of 8 January, my wife and I had slept in a bit late as we were tired after travelling for most of the day on 7 January. My wife is currently battling cancer and recently suffered a stroke, so one can imagine that all the travelling would exhaust her. When we had woken up and gone down for breakfast, we were told that we couldn’t get any food at the restaurant. Any other hotel would have given us the courtesy of a small prepared meal. Due to my wife’s condition, she needs to eat something before taking her medication. My family and I often travel to Livigno for holidays. I don’t judge a place by the problems, but rather how the establishment attempts to fix them. If the hotel could take some accountability for what was wrong during our stay, we may consider staying there again.

We had the most amazing stay for our skiing holiday. The restaurant was very accommodating at preparing simpler meals for our kids and the staff are so friendly. The location was excellent for ski-in-ski-out and it is right on the pedestrian zone for close access to restaurants and the shops. The rooms were very clean and the were serviced daily.

Hotel helvetia è una bellissima struttura in una ottima posizione appena sotto l'arrivo delle piste da sci, però ho dato tre stelle perchè il personale non era molto simpatico e i camerieri hanno fatto molti errori, e perché a colazione non c'erano prodotti di qualità, però nel contesto ci ritornerei

Posizione ottimale: comodo accesso agli impianti di risalita, ubicato in zona centrale. Di rilievo per un hotel tre stelle il servizio nelle camere: cambio giornaliero degli asciugamani, il menù della cena praticamente alla carta, con scelta di tre portate su quattro. Anche il tovagliato viene cambiato tutti i giorni. Servizio attento con modo di porgere simpatico ed accogliente. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Hotel centralissimo e comodo al centro di Livigno,da negozi di marca, supermercato, ristoranti,bar,le camere confortevoli, tutto in legno,con ascensore comodissimo,Mauro e la sua signora sono ospitali, allegri,bravissimo il cuoco che ha cucinato tutto buonissimo.Da ritornare

Katia Salvadori 2/5 un attimo fa su Google Abbiamo pranzato nel ristorante, dopo essere stati gentilmente invitati ad entrare dal titolare, che proponeva uno sconto del 10%, lungo la pubblica via. Abbiamo mangiato tre piatti unici, abbastanza buoni e prezzo in linea. Bel locale, tanto legno e sasso, camerieri (erano solo in due, oggi) gentili, servizio veloce. C'era poca gente. Paghiamo e usciamo dopo aver avuto anche il limoncello offerto. Ma guardando poi lo scontrino (eravamo già a casa, altrimenti tornavo subito nel locale) mi accorgo che lo sconto del 10% proposto, c'è in calce ma credo sia una presa per i fondelli. Su 66, 70 euro a me risulterebbe uno sconto di 6, 60 circa...non 0.87 cent. Facevate più bella figura a non proporre nulla, avrei comunque pagato il prezzo che ritenevo anche adeguato. Ma così mi son sentita offesa e mi spiace
