Unexpectedly good. Will for sure re-visit.

A beautiful, large old house. Very spacious rooms with high ceilings. It is what it is, i hesitate to use the phrase cheap and cheerful as that would do it an injustice. Value for money, comfortable with great hosts - what more would you want!

The staff members were the highlight of our stay, absolute credit to the guesthouse. Complementary breakfast - tea, coffee, toast, cereals, fruit juices which was great. I have to say the room and building in genereal are looking a bit worn and could do with a bit of a deep clean and freshen up. The mattresses and pillows really need an upgrade, the sheets are very thin but all smelt clean. Very close to Anfield stadium, we walked and took 30 minutes, driving there 5 minutes. We would stay again purely for such a warm welcome and kindness from the staff members.

Additionally, the location of the guesthouse was ideal. It was only a short drive away from Liverpool city, making it convenient for exploring the vibrant city center. Whether I wanted to visit the famous landmarks, indulge in shopping, or experience the local culture, everything was within easy reach. Overall, I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a fantastic stay near Liverpool city. The combination of great service, friendly staff, affordability, and proximity to the city center make it a truly exceptional choice.

If you're looking for luxury accommodation this is not for you, but if it's a friendly welcome, helpful staff and basic comfort this is good value for money. A complementary self-serve buffet breakfast was an unexpected bonus which made the logistics of our day so much easier. The only downside was the room was quite hot but opening the window let in traffic noise.

Great experience. The staff were quite responsive and friendly. During check-in, they were kind enough to add free breakfast vouchers to my stay. Even though I never ended up going for breakfast, it was a nice gesture.

Good friendly hosts. The room condition is.... average at best. Free parking if you get there early. If you can get it cheap it will do.
