For travelers arriving later in the day, their restaurant is closed due to staffing. Their pool is not accessible for your guests unless you pay $20.00 for each guest. I understand they have a problem with local guests coming and bringing over 10 guests to the pool and that is why they charge. If you are coming from out of town and visiting family and want to bring up to 4 guests, they should not charge you.

We had a great time at the Senator Inn again with family, as we celebrated our daughter's birthday with our grand-kids. The spa area was great and we had a delicious breakfast at the beautiful restaurant. Everyone there was friendly and fun.

Every year, I travel to Augusta to stay at the Senator Inn and enjoy a much-needed 2 or 3 days away from my world. Always, the Senator has just what I need: convenient location to eateries and shopping, a beautiful spa with a pool and the ever-so-enjoyable hot tub, and the peace and quiet I need to work on my writing projects. I call these trips my "Writer's Retreat" and this year's retreat was as productive and enjoyable as retreats of the past. Thank you, Senator, for anticipating my needs and filling them.

Started our weekend with keycards not working in old doors - heck of a time even getting into the rooms everytime we left. Went down to the pool / spa and was stopped by spa staff stating I needed to pay to get in. Let them know I was staying there for two nights but still wanted $25 - no where is it stated they charge for pool / hot tub & sauna as it usually is included with everyother hotel we have stayed at. Upon getting out of the shower at 9pm , fire alarms went off due to the shower steam - I was packing everything at this point and ready to leave at 9pm to go find another place to stay. Beds and pillows are terrible, my back hurt for 3 days. Decided before checkout we would stop by for breakfast at the restaurant, had two bites of sausage and gravy & couldn’t stomach anymore. Rock hard biscuits , gravy too oily &tasted of oyster sauce& sausage couldn’t even cut into. Spent $35 at restaurant just to throw it all away & spent $500 on two nights of the SMALLEST OPTION ROOM. I can’t even imagine how the more expensive rooms are. Absolute waste of money and time , should have booked at Evergreen hotel right down road that has great reviews. DONT WASTE UR TIME HERE ! THE COST OF EVERYTHING DOESNT MATCH THEIR QUALITY. Find somewhere else to stay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0/10 really the worst hotel we have stayed at & we have been to HUNDREDS on the whole east coast !!!!

The spa is lovely and a lot of fun and relaxation for young and old alike. The spa staff are super friendly. The restaurant servevs very delicious breakfast znd lunch.

Sink in our sitting room leaked , furniture was really worn, our beds were "Uncomfortable", fire place was barely warm when turned on. Staff had to replace the stopper in our bath tub.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was a little more dated than it appeared online but was clean and comfortable. Most everything was closed because it was Christmas. The restaurant staff was very nice, food was ok, decent prices.

The hotel was okay. I expected more just because it was a spa as well. Just like a comfort inn. Blow dryer didn't work. Needs to be updated. Did like the cute table and chairs outside the door.
