Since I made the reservation, I asked to pay cash on arrival. I spoke with Francisco and with João Adrega. Both said it was possible, but they said that I needed to say the exact time of my arrival and I was talking by message on Booking since the 26th of February (my stay would start on the 3rd of March) with João and he insisted that he wanted the ”exact time ' of my arrival so he could send a member of his team to receive cash. I said I would let him know when I bought the ticket and I did. The bus left late and I let him know. I kept sending messages even when I arrived in Lisbon on the 3rd march and I called him saying that I was at the station and would take a taxi to get to the hotel quickly. But when I arrived at the Ascensor da Bica Lisbon Apartments, there was no one waiting for me. I enter to make my check in in the machine and called them by phone. A girl answered and said that no one would meet me to receive the payment because my credit card had already been charged. I was angry and asked to speak with João and I argued with him he apologized but I didn't accept it because he deceived me. Then I found out that my card was charged for the daily rates on February 28th. Between February 26th and March 3rd, João kept deceiving me: saying he was going to send someone from the group to receive the money and it was a lie because they had already debited. When I booked it was clearly described ”pay at the accommodation”, I sent a message asking if I could pay there in cash and they accepted. But it's all fake because I didn't pay for the accommodation, they charged BEFORE and BEFORE I even arrived in the city. On the 28th I was in Coimbra and they charged me. I had explained that in Brazil the charges and fees were high for those who pay by credit card and João just tricked me! I was irate and so was my sister, with his dishonesty deceiving us for 5 days. Unfortunate. I lost confidence because in addition to the advance, undue and deception I asked for the invoice and he said he would only send it at checkout, I insisted because it was clearly written in the reservation that the invoice would be delivered after payment when the person requested it. I sent requests every day and he sent me unintelligible things by messenger, and I started to receive a pdf with the Lisbon Apartments and so far I have not received anything. The location is good but the place is very poorly designed, a good designer would do better: the bathroom is terrible because it has no insulation and you hear everything the other person does. The sink could be inside the bathroom if the doors were sliding but it is in the middle of the accommodation occupying a space where you could put the bed and leave it away from the sink and stove. Sliding doors would have been a smarter solution in the bathroom which has another problem when showering, the hot water is not enough for two people and if one person takes a shower a little longer the water starts to get cold. Das Hostel hat eine tolle Lage. Genau neben ihm gibt es einen großen Park, wenn Sie mit dem Auto kommen und an der Seite hat es auch einen ATM. Metro und Busstation wirklich in der Nähe. Auf der Rückstraße gibt es viele lokale Pasta, Restaurants und kleine Geschäfte. Das ist freundlich und hilfreich. Das Bett ist komfortabel und es ist super handlich, dass Sie 2 Socken und ein ”nachtliches Licht” gerade über Ihren Kissen haben. Sie erhalten auch einen Schrank, der unter den Betten ist - das ist groß und groß, um Ihre Sachen zu lagern bis zum Punkt, wo Sie Zimmer kommen spät oder gehen sehr Früh und dann macht es einen wirklich lauten Lärm. Die Dusche waren nicht so sauber, aber ich habe gesehen schlimmer, zumindest Sie bekommen Seife-Dispenser, die tatsächlich Seife in ihnen und es gibt auch ein Haartrockner im Badezimmer. Die WiFi-Strom ist großartig und funktioniert gut überall im Hostel. Die Terrasse ist wirklich schön gestaltet und ein toller Ort, um in den Tagen zu socialisieren, dass es nicht extrem windig 😆

Günstig und wahnsinnig zentral gelegen waren wir von diesem Hostel sehr angenehm überrascht. Die Zimmer und das Bad sauber und nichts an den Stockbetten mit den Vorhängen auszusetzen. Wir hatten kein Frühstück dazugebucht aber dann doch jeden Tag dort gefrühstückt weil es ebenfalls günstig und vor allem ausreichend und gut war.

Super schönes,modernes Hostel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und absolut perfektem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Zimmer und Bäder waren sehr sauber und die Lage ist für den Preis definitiv empfehlenswert, viel kann fußläufig erreicht werden und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind auch direkt um die Ecke.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the online booking service offered by Zenhotels. I made a reservation for what I thought would be a private room with 2 pets allowed and made a payment of 97 euros, which according to the booking confirmation received, was the total amount for the reservation. I was supposed to only pay 6 euros for the tourist tax and 10 euros per pet for the entire stay. Upon arrival at the hotel (WOT Lisbon Nomad), I was informed that the reservation I had made did not correspond to a private room and that in order to get one, I would have to pay an additional 234.51 euros on top of the already paid 97 euros (this would be for the upgrade to a private room + 10 euros per day per pet). Obviously, this news at the time of check-in and with such a price difference (more than three times the original value) makes it almost impossible for the customer to seek an alternative. Furthermore, I tried to explain to the hotel that the website was not very clear about private or shared rooms, as the room description did not indicate that it was shared. Additionally, it did not mention that the payment for the pets was per day rather than for the entire stay. The person responded that if the website did not have complete information, it was not the hotel's problem. I countered that if they were selling their services through third parties, they are just as responsible as the website promoting them to ensure that the information is accurate; otherwise, they are complicit in a scheme to deceive customers. Finally, I decided not to proceed with the proposal because I found it disrespectful, an excessive charge compared to the original offer, and unprofessional. Therefore, I feel that I was cheated out of the 97 euros that I paid and that I could not use the offered service.

It’s been a long time since I was last in a youth hostel, and as a now 45 year old man there is probably a reason for this. Arriving late on the Tuesday night with fond memories of dorm parties and tequila slammers, I was greeted by what I initially thought was captain Jack Sparrow, but who actually transpired to be a very friendly chap who helped us to navigate the intricacies of the main entrance. Door buzzed, suitcases lifted up the stairs and ugh who let mum and dad in looks absorbed, we were handed our keys by a lovely member of the team alongside vouchers for two free shots. Enthusiastically we were informed that the bar was open until 1am that night, although we had missed the pub crawl for the evening. I’m flattered I guess, however we decided to give the shots a miss in favour of a nice sleep. Yup, Father Time catches up with us all… We had a private double with a shared bathroom, and although very small it was comfortable enough. The pillow has perhaps seen better days, but the A/C was a life saver! Spending the days walking around town and doing some gentle exploring, the nights were largely spent for myself at least in the bar area downstairs. It’s a small but perfectly functional area, and in all honesty wasn’t the screaming mess of teenagers away from home for the first time that I had been expecting. At 3 euros a pint I was certainly very happy to sit and read whilst various cool young things did their thing in the background. Declining participation in the pub crawl for a second time, I was tempted with the tapas tasting but plans for the night changed due to friends arriving a day early and diner reservations being made. From a comfort point of view, our bathroom was shared between three double rooms I believe on the third floor, and this was never an issue. I attribute this to the fact that we were likely on very different schedules with us going out for the day and back for the night, as opposed to the perhaps more night based activities of our fellow residents. Bedroom like I said small, but hey, who cares, we weren’t here to sit in a room all day. The breakfast was absolutely fine, and for 5 euros a day you really cannot complain. All in all very happy with my stay, though peeking into an open dorm room one day my god I wouldn’t have survived the week unless you could take 25 years off me! Good job though overall Sant Jordi, and I’d certainly consider staying again - safe, friendly and somewhere I’m sure 20 year old me would have had a blast!

Wir haben im Marriott Lisbon nur eine Nacht am Ende unserer Rundreise durch Portugal verbracht, haben den Aufenthalt aber rundum genossen. Das Hotel ist zwar äußerlich kein Highlight und die Zimmer sind schon etwas älter, aber alles ist rundum gepflegt und tip-top sauber. Wir hatten in unserer Buchung den Zugang zur Executive Lounge enthalten und haben den Abend dort sehr genossen. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und von sehr guter Qualität. Alle Mitarbeiter im Hotel waren überaus freundlich und kompetent. Ein besonderes Highlight war die Überraschung, die uns zum Anlass unserer Flitterwochen im Zimmer erwartete. Ein riesengroßes Dankeschön an dieser Stelle an das gesamte guest relations team und insbesondere die zwei Angestellten, die die Überraschung platzierten und sich dann so mit uns gefreut haben :).

AC nicht richtig arbeiten, keine Lebensmittel im Zimmer, keine Minibar, unkomfortable, alte Eigenschaften brauchen geringfügige Renovierung, viele Dinge nicht arbeiten wie Dusche Kopf, sinken nicht genug drainieren, manchmal nicht gut gereinigt. Deckung Schäden und Mikrostücke fallen in Badezimmer AC Filter schmutzig, Wände in Kupfer, konnte das Paar neben der Tür hören, immer Sex haben. Hauptmanager des Hotels nicht hören und fast brutal. bat ihn, die VMC zu reparieren, es war zu viel Feuchtigkeit, auf die er antwortete, dass er nicht Gott ist. Ich sagte ihm, dass wenn er nicht ein VMC ändert, ich weiß nicht, wie er ein Manager ist. kein Rabatt, nichts für das Unglück es war da. änderte Zimmer einmal, um noch mehr Fragen zu haben. schien nicht doppelt gefenstert, ob wir die Straße hören konnten. Barman, wenn ich Er fragte ihn, was er neben den Getränken hat, seine Antwort war so niedrige Leber: Was denkst du, ich kann? Es ist eine Bar. Als ich erklären, dass er Snacks oder kleines Essen angeboten hätte, verstand er nicht. Es ist ein sehr niedriges Hotel für einen hohen Preis. Ich werde nie diesen Ort empfehlen und werde sogar einige Zeit verbringen, um ihr Online-Ansehen zu beschädigen.

Wir landen hier aus einem annullierten easyjet-Flug, das Personal war so verständlich, als wir ankamen. Frühstück und Abendessen waren in unserem Aufenthalt enthalten und war ein Buffet-Stil mit einer großen Auswahl. Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Ein 1-minütiges Gehminut vom Eingang der U-Bahn und dem Supermarkt entfernt.
