Wir landen hier aus einem annullierten easyjet-Flug, das Personal war so verständlich, als wir ankamen. Frühstück und Abendessen waren in unserem Aufenthalt enthalten und war ein Buffet-Stil mit einer großen Auswahl. Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Ein 1-minütiges Gehminut vom Eingang der U-Bahn und dem Supermarkt entfernt.

Nachdem ich 2016 schon mit meinen beiden Töchtern in diesem Hotel ein paar Tage verbracht hatte, habe ich mich auch dieses Mal wieder für dieses Czar Hotel entschieden. Das Hotel ist günstig und liegt zentral. Die nächste Metro Station ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt. Busse und Tram halten auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht groß, aber modern eingerichtet. Für meinen Mann und mich hat das völlig gereicht. Das Badezimmer ist auch ausreichend, hat um den Waschtisch herum eine große Ablagefläche und verfügt über eine große Dusche, sogar mit Regendusche. Beim Frühstück ist die Auswahl zwar nicht so extrem groß, aber es reicht völlig und das sagen wir, als ”gute Frühstücker”. Wir haben uns hier wirklich wohl gefühlt! Alles sauber, modern und dennoch gemütlich. Personal auch freundlich. Wir finden das Czar Hotel perfekt für eine Lissabon Städtereise!

I am deeply dissatisfied with the online booking service offered by Zenhotels. I made a reservation for what I thought would be a private room with 2 pets allowed and made a payment of 97 euros, which according to the booking confirmation received, was the total amount for the reservation. I was supposed to only pay 6 euros for the tourist tax and 10 euros per pet for the entire stay. Upon arrival at the hotel (WOT Lisbon Nomad), I was informed that the reservation I had made did not correspond to a private room and that in order to get one, I would have to pay an additional 234.51 euros on top of the already paid 97 euros (this would be for the upgrade to a private room + 10 euros per day per pet). Obviously, this news at the time of check-in and with such a price difference (more than three times the original value) makes it almost impossible for the customer to seek an alternative. Furthermore, I tried to explain to the hotel that the website was not very clear about private or shared rooms, as the room description did not indicate that it was shared. Additionally, it did not mention that the payment for the pets was per day rather than for the entire stay. The person responded that if the website did not have complete information, it was not the hotel's problem. I countered that if they were selling their services through third parties, they are just as responsible as the website promoting them to ensure that the information is accurate; otherwise, they are complicit in a scheme to deceive customers. Finally, I decided not to proceed with the proposal because I found it disrespectful, an excessive charge compared to the original offer, and unprofessional. Therefore, I feel that I was cheated out of the 97 euros that I paid and that I could not use the offered service.

Super schönes,modernes Hostel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und absolut perfektem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Zimmer und Bäder waren sehr sauber und die Lage ist für den Preis definitiv empfehlenswert, viel kann fußläufig erreicht werden und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind auch direkt um die Ecke.

It’s been a long time since I was last in a youth hostel, and as a now 45 year old man there is probably a reason for this. Arriving late on the Tuesday night with fond memories of dorm parties and tequila slammers, I was greeted by what I initially thought was captain Jack Sparrow, but who actually transpired to be a very friendly chap who helped us to navigate the intricacies of the main entrance. Door buzzed, suitcases lifted up the stairs and ugh who let mum and dad in looks absorbed, we were handed our keys by a lovely member of the team alongside vouchers for two free shots. Enthusiastically we were informed that the bar was open until 1am that night, although we had missed the pub crawl for the evening. I’m flattered I guess, however we decided to give the shots a miss in favour of a nice sleep. Yup, Father Time catches up with us all… We had a private double with a shared bathroom, and although very small it was comfortable enough. The pillow has perhaps seen better days, but the A/C was a life saver! Spending the days walking around town and doing some gentle exploring, the nights were largely spent for myself at least in the bar area downstairs. It’s a small but perfectly functional area, and in all honesty wasn’t the screaming mess of teenagers away from home for the first time that I had been expecting. At 3 euros a pint I was certainly very happy to sit and read whilst various cool young things did their thing in the background. Declining participation in the pub crawl for a second time, I was tempted with the tapas tasting but plans for the night changed due to friends arriving a day early and diner reservations being made. From a comfort point of view, our bathroom was shared between three double rooms I believe on the third floor, and this was never an issue. I attribute this to the fact that we were likely on very different schedules with us going out for the day and back for the night, as opposed to the perhaps more night based activities of our fellow residents. Bedroom like I said small, but hey, who cares, we weren’t here to sit in a room all day. The breakfast was absolutely fine, and for 5 euros a day you really cannot complain. All in all very happy with my stay, though peeking into an open dorm room one day my god I wouldn’t have survived the week unless you could take 25 years off me! Good job though overall Sant Jordi, and I’d certainly consider staying again - safe, friendly and somewhere I’m sure 20 year old me would have had a blast!

Since I made the reservation, I asked to pay cash on arrival. I spoke with Francisco and with João Adrega. Both said it was possible, but they said that I needed to say the exact time of my arrival and I was talking by message on Booking since the 26th of February (my stay would start on the 3rd of March) with João and he insisted that he wanted the ”exact time ' of my arrival so he could send a member of his team to receive cash. I said I would let him know when I bought the ticket and I did. The bus left late and I let him know. I kept sending messages even when I arrived in Lisbon on the 3rd march and I called him saying that I was at the station and would take a taxi to get to the hotel quickly. But when I arrived at the Ascensor da Bica Lisbon Apartments, there was no one waiting for me. I enter to make my check in in the machine and called them by phone. A girl answered and said that no one would meet me to receive the payment because my credit card had already been charged. I was angry and asked to speak with João and I argued with him he apologized but I didn't accept it because he deceived me. Then I found out that my card was charged for the daily rates on February 28th. Between February 26th and March 3rd, João kept deceiving me: saying he was going to send someone from the group to receive the money and it was a lie because they had already debited. When I booked it was clearly described ”pay at the accommodation”, I sent a message asking if I could pay there in cash and they accepted. But it's all fake because I didn't pay for the accommodation, they charged BEFORE and BEFORE I even arrived in the city. On the 28th I was in Coimbra and they charged me. I had explained that in Brazil the charges and fees were high for those who pay by credit card and João just tricked me! I was irate and so was my sister, with his dishonesty deceiving us for 5 days. Unfortunate. I lost confidence because in addition to the advance, undue and deception I asked for the invoice and he said he would only send it at checkout, I insisted because it was clearly written in the reservation that the invoice would be delivered after payment when the person requested it. I sent requests every day and he sent me unintelligible things by messenger, and I started to receive a pdf with the Lisbon Apartments and so far I have not received anything. The location is good but the place is very poorly designed, a good designer would do better: the bathroom is terrible because it has no insulation and you hear everything the other person does. The sink could be inside the bathroom if the doors were sliding but it is in the middle of the accommodation occupying a space where you could put the bed and leave it away from the sink and stove. Sliding doors would have been a smarter solution in the bathroom which has another problem when showering, the hot water is not enough for two people and if one person takes a shower a little longer the water starts to get cold. Die Empfangsmitarbeiter unserer Checkin-Rezeption sind sehr enthusiastisch. Sie helfen uns schnell, die Verfahren zu bearbeiten und uns dann die Einrichtungen und Aktivitäten dieser Bevölkerung ausführlich darzustellen, darunter viele kostenlose Freizeitaktivitäten wie z. B. Würfel und Fantasie-Erlebnisse. Wir haben eine bezahlte Surf-Aktivität teilgenommen, der Coach hat uns auch sehr geduldig gelehrt, die gesamte Erfahrung ist sehr gut! Es ist sehr zu empfehlen, hier in Lissabon zu reisen!

Der Raum ist komplett ausgestattet und kann zum Kochen genutzt werden. Das Badezimmer hat kein Fenster und die Belüftung ist nicht sehr gut. Der Standort liegt in der Altstadt, nur zehn Gehminuten vom Bika-Lift und dem Timeout-Markt entfernt. Allerdings gab es in der Umgebung kürzlich Bauarbeiten, die sich auf die Anreise auswirken.

Ter em atenção ao ar condicionado pois alguns só dão para ar frio ou ar quente e perguntar no check-in. Spa 5 estrelas Pequeno almoço 5 estrelas Quarto muito bom.

Hotel novo, muito limpo, fiquei admirado por ter só 2 *. Atendimento excelente. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Excelente localização , entre Lisboa e Cascais. Quarto excelente com boas áreas é um excelente chuveiro coisa que eu aprecio. Ideal para passagem em negócios, uma ou duas noites.
