Dieses Hotel war wirklich gut mit fabulösem aufmerksamen Personal. Großes Schlafzimmer, komfortables Bett, super Badezimmer und sehr sauber. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und gutes Kaffee-Stil-Dinner. Zehn Euro Taxi in die Stadt. Guter Parkplatz. Sehr empfohlen

We have been sightseeing in the area and reserved this Melia with great expectations. I’m afraid Mr Escarrer would be a bit disappointed. On the plus side, the receptionists were really friendly and attentive, with the right helpful attitude. We could say the same about the staff in the cafeteria. The downside was the quality of the food in the cafeteria/bar/restaurant. Frozen chips in a Melia? The chicken fingers to pick at seemed to be a chicken escalope sliced and refried, making it dry and tasteless. Perhaps the menu ought to be relooked at because the premises are really nice. The room was fine although having to go to a vending machine in the lobby to get your minibar products kind of defeats the purpose of a minibar in the room. Breakfast was adequate although not what you expect from a hotel advertised as a Melia affiliate. All on all, a “pass” thanks to the staff.

This place by far is the best Parador of Spain. Its like visiting a historic site and sleeping there. The rooms are spacious, luxurious and comfortable . The bathroom is like a mini apartment. The parador has several lounges and a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast is served cold buffet and hot from the menu, just fantastic. The place even has a cloister. Parking is located around the back which does have an entrance to reception. The parador is a bite away from the historic part of town, take a taxi.

Das Hotel war im allgemeinen schön, ok Empfang, Aber die Mitarbeiter schienen unwahrscheinlich zu sein, wenn es kam, ob die A/C funktionierte oder nicht. Das Fenster zu einem unserer Zimmer war bei unserer Ankunft geöffnet und das so genannte A/C oder Ventilationssystem musste wechseln. Es begann, aber es gab keine kühle Luft. Wir wurden angeboten, Zimmer zu ändern und auf eine wilden Goose jagen, um ein kühleres Zimmer auf dem Boden unten zu finden. Das Fenster im neuen Zimmer war auch breit geöffnet, lasse in der heißen Außenluft. Die A/C funktionierte auch nicht, so dass wir in den ursprünglichen Zimmern geblieben waren. Große Zimmer und große Badezimmer. Die Dusche war etwas klein für die Größe des Badezimmers und die Duschetür in einem Zimmer war sehr schmutzig. Die Mitarbeiter versuchten hart, aber das Management fehlte eindeutig.

Das Zimmer ist OK, sauber und geräumig und sauber, das Badezimmer und das Badezimmer sind getrennt, das ist sehr gefällt, der Rezeptionservice ist sehr gut, es gibt einen flüssigen Englisch, das Frühstück ist nicht bekannt, die Tür kann vorübergehend parken, es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe, die Lage ist sehr bequem

Built in the 14th century in 1370, this building provides the location of this quaint hotel that is centrally located right at the beginning of the desirable and touristy “barrio húmedo” section of León. Within a short walking distance to all shops, restaurants, bars and the main attraction, the Leon Cathedral, you’ll never be far from anything you could want. There’s a restaurant in the hotel that I heard was very good (although on the pricey side) but I never ate there. The local bars and cafe’s all serve tapas gratis with any beverage ordered and there’s no shortage of places to eat! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and even though they have set hours at the front desk, every guest gets their own code to get in if it’s past those hours. I’d read that since it’s an old building, that the walls are thin and it can get quite loud, especially if you are closer to street level or over restaurant. I was on 3rd floor and had no issues. Sometimes you could hear people coming in late and the old wood floors creak a little, but it never bothered me and guests were pretty respectful. Nice large tub and shower area. Small tv, that I never used once…no need to when there’s so much nearby to do! I’d stay here again for sure!

Von dem Moment an, als ich in der Tür lief, war Carmen auf dem Vordertafel brillant. Mein Zimmer war nicht bereit, aber sie machte mich zu Hause fühlen und sie war eine große Hilfe bei der Bereitstellung von Informationen über die lokale Umgebung, Restaurants usw. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr schön mit geräumigen Zimmern und einem großen Badezimmer. Genau das, was ich nach einer Woche auf dem Camino brauchte. Sehr empfohlen.

This was my least favorite of the AC hotels I stayed in during my trip in northern Spain.. It was located in a relatively unremarkable area and just overall was very dark. The one great thing about its location was across the street from the department store and their massive grocery hall in the basement. Staff opinions were mixed for me - some of the front office staff were wonderful and helpful, another in particular always seemed put off by requests for information or assistance. The room was fine, although with no view of anything in particular. Like the theme of the hotel, it just seemed gloomy. I was happy for the comfort of this hotel but not its location. I'd have to think about whether I would stay here again.
