The spa was nice however was unfortunately ruined by a couple of things about the room. The room 108, in which was a hot tub room, has a “security light” which lights up your whole hottub area at night. This didn’t make the private hot tub area very private as the fences were also low and there is a room right above the hottub that can look down. This did not make me or my partner very comfortable as people could directly look into the hot tub, from above and the sides. The light was incredibly bright, and for something that was meant to be relaxing, it very much was not. The light could be positioned actually in the car park, however for some reason is mounted on the building. This also meant we could not use the garden lights placed in the ground to make it more romantic/relaxing. I tried speaking to the reception about it, and they were very dismissive of it, with no offer of any compensation, or the likes. Considering the two rooms next to us had no light, we did not find it very fair. The room was also very hot, with no Air Conditioning, leading to a fairly sleepless night. There was also alot of sound coming for the car park, since there was a wedding on, so there were taxi’s, loud cars driving around at 2 in the morning, so I could not really sleep. If booking the spa for the morning, and your package also includes breakfast in the morning, you only have 30 minutes in the morning to have your breakfast since it opens at 8:30 and the morning spa starts at 9:00. This should be opened earlier so you can have a coffee and breakfast and not feel in a rush. On the other hand, the spa area is nice, however there are windows around the entire hyrdro - pool area, and noticed alot of people staring through them. Not very nice to have eyes watching whilst trying to nap or go in the pool for example. Overall, I was disappointed and so was my partner, and we would be very unlikely to return.
