Booked a spa package for my partners birthday which included a treatment and two course lunch, plus access to the facilities for 3.5 hours. Arrived and checked in, was greeted by lovely staff who showed us to the restaurant area. Ordered food from the menu, and wow 10/10 the food was all home cooked absolutely delicious and very big portion sizes. Regularly asked if everything was okay, and service was good! Spa was amazing! Well worth the money the concept is so unique I’ve never been to a spa like this where you get to experience transportation into an old mill. Loved it all, treatment was lovely and relaxing and the mud chamber was great too. Outside area lovely with pod beds, and good changing room and shower facilities. My only feedback would be to pop a plug in the changing room so that if you did want to straighten your hair you could, and maybe some background music for the outside area or throughout the spa itself. I would also recommend extending the eating period slightly as the food was so much, it didn’t give you much time to settle before you went into the spa. Stayed at the Queen's Head hotel over the weekend due to attending a concert at Buxton Opera House. We were really well looked after and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean , warm and welcoming. Whilst there is no on-site parking, there is parking in the market place only a minutes walk away which was easy to access. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
