I booked a cheap hotel as I only needed it to sleep and shower in as I was out everyday. You pay for what you get. However the amount of stress caused on check in I was not prepared for. I understand reservations may not appear for many different reasons so I have more patience and understanding than most, however to be told on check in there’s a piece of scrap paper saying I’ve been moved to another hotel 40mins drive away, when I was told their was rooms available, with no proper documentation and I have to pay for the taxi and somehow claim it back from some person tomorrow, then met with a shoulder shrug when I said no just isn’t ok. I spent all evening trying to sort out the check in. Communication failed terribly in this occasion. I was left to sit and basically deal with my reservation myself for 4 1/2 hours talking to the company I booked with, not knowing If I was getting a room here or not and looking for other places to stay. To find out there was a problem with the payment, which if I was told from the beginning it could have been dealt with a lot quicker and reduced the stress of trying to be sent to another hotel, not knowing if they actually had my booking. A lot of reassurance points were missed. Which wasn’t a great start to my holiday. However on another note, This hotel has huge potential and I don’t think the owners realise. It just needs some some TLC, with its location being 5mins from the airport, the beach out side, ***** of restaurants 30 seconds away, volley ball, water sports on the beach out front and 2mins walk from the bus stop to larnaka centre (or 30/40min walk) and only a 5min walk to the salt lake. The actual hotel needs some love and work to it. With the partnership it has with last minute.com and potentially others, it could do really well and stand a very good chance in the market. Just some advice , Get the pool and upstairs bar fixed so it’s suitable for leisure guests when they come next summer. As it stands you wouldn’t be able to relax in the hotel during the day. The lobby area is lovely and spacious, the decorations and branding is simplistic which is nice. The outside of the hotel looks lovely with the huge flamingo. Do up the bedrooms, get the showers fixed, re paint, fix the door handles , make it look fresh like the photos advertised. When you get more guests coming , then focus on re designing the breakfast buffet, so there’s more of a selection. Then focus on customer service and making it feel warm. Let people aware you have made changes and ask the guests to leave reviews, better your chances of new business and more money. As people read reviews before staying. Look at the surrounding market and competition, what are your USP’s ?, where do you stand out?. It’s such a shame to see a hotel with potential go to waste. I hope the owners see this and start to put some love into the hotel.

Wir waren absolut erfreut über dieses Hotel. Wir reservierten eine Senior Suite und es war erstaunlich mit einem Wohnbereich sowie einem Schlafzimmer mit einem sehr komfortabelen Bett. Das große Badezimmer hat eine große leistungsstarke Dusche und ein Jacuzzi-Badewanne. Die ganze Dekoration war schön und die Graffiti ausgezeichnet. Obwohl auf einer besetzten Straßenbahn, die in den Zimmern klang, funktionierte perfekt. Das Frühstück hatte eine Menge Wahl und wir hatten einen Drink in der Bar ein Abend und es war komfortabel, der Service war gut und die Preise sind vernünftig. Wenn es ein wenig Schnauze ist es Autoparking, da der Park ist klein. Nachdem wir gesagt haben, dass wir dort parken konnten und obwohl wir in der Personalabteilung blockiert waren, waren wir sehr hilfreich und sicher, dass das Auto bewegt wurde. Das Hotel ist nicht direkt am Meer, es ist ein kurzer Spaziergang, auch für jemanden mit einem schlechten Knie (die ich zurzeit habe). Kurz gesagt kann ich dieses Hotel nicht sehr gut empfehlen und wir werden sicher zurück sein.

Erstens ist der Nachteil, dass die Lage etwas schwierig zu finden ist, es keinen Parkplatz gibt und der Balkon nicht die Landschaft sieht, sondern nur Müll. Neben den Vorteilen ist das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig, es gibt verschiedene Restaurants, es ist sehr bequem, ans Meer oder in die Altstadt zu gehen, um einzukaufen und verschiedene Attraktionen, die Altstadt ist sehr klein und man kann überall hin laufen.

Der frangiorgio liegt nur 5 Gehminuten vom Strand und der Promenade entfernt, wo alles passiert. Dies ist die touristische Zone von Larnaca mit allen drei Bars Cafés und Restaurants. Die Zimmer sind spezial und sauber, das Frühstück ist schön und es gibt einen Pool auf dem Dach. Die Sachen waren hilfsbereit und wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Empfohlen!

I stayed at Sveltos Hotel in Oroklini for a week in October together with a group of 8 who were visiting Cyprus for a cycling week. I was the only non-cyclist in the group. We arrived mid-evening, tired. Check-in was quick and easy and we were offered a welcome drink. My husband and I were given room 215. The room was modern, comfortable, spacious with ample storage space and plenty of room to set down our suitcases. There was a large wardrobe and some shelves. The room had air con, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, large bottle of mineral water (which was replenished each day), telephone, room safe, large wall mounted TV, mini fridge, ironing board (with iron available on request, I think). Most of the sockets in the room take English style plugs without the need of an adaptor. The room had a small balcony with a table and two chairs. The temperatures in October was around 30 degrees each day but our balcony was often in the shade which was just perfect. Our room faced the main road so was a little noisy during the rush-hour. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the pool at the back. The bathroom was spacious and modern with a walk in shower, lots of shelf space to set down your bathroom bag, etc. There was a hairdryer and a few complimentary toiletries. The hotel’s public areas were modern and inviting. There was an indoor bar, outdoor bar (offering well-priced cocktails with happy hour each evening). There was a good sized pool and a children’s pool. There were ample loungers for sunbathing and a lot of tables and chairs outdoors for eating and drinking. There is a pool menu which was very good and well-priced. The restaurant is on the ground floor where we had breakfast each morning. There was an ample choice of hot and cold buffet. Dinner was €18 per person for three courses. We found that food portions in Cyprus were usually quite large. The hotel has a gym which was quite small but well stocked with a good selection of equipment. The hotel offers 2 or 3 excursions most days. I took 3 excursions during my stay and they were good and well-priced. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and accommodating of our group.

Wir waren am Ende unserer zweiwöchigen Zypernreise nach Larnaca gekommen, um hier noch einmal den Urlaub ausklingen zu lassen. Hotel ist gut, auch ist das Frühstück überaus empfehlenswert. Leider ist die Lage des Hotels etwas außerhalb, weshalb wir mindestens 20 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt gebraucht haben, bzw. auf öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angewiesen waren. Die Bushaltestelle für Line 425 ist fussläufig drei Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Als Radisson Reward Gold Status Member habe ich mich sehr über das Upgrade in die Suite gefreut, sowie den Gutschein für zwei nicht-alkoholische Getränke, die wir am Pool eingelöst haben (Radisson Mocktail).

Es war nicht einfach, das Hotel zu verlassen. 2 Nächte sind zu wenig für das Lebay Hotel. Das Hotel ist wirklich hervorragend, ich habe keine einzige Frage zu verbessern. Es begann mit einem Zimmerbuchungsprozess und Korrespondenz mit Valentinos Kkaili - Front Office & Reservations Manager. Sie machte alles, um meinen Wunsch und Erfahrung zu erfüllen, um den besten Deal zu geben. Im Eingang wurde sie überrascht weiter - dass sie alles, was ich gefragt habe, und darüber hinaus gehalten hat. Das Hotel - wirklich gemütlich. Obwohl die Lage nicht im Zentrum der Promenade ist, hat es Vorteile: großartige Parkplätze, hervorragende Strand. Die Einrichtungen des Hotels sind gut und angenehm, das Essens- und Essenszimmer, das Zimmer selbst angenehm Raum und ein großes Badezimmer. Der Service ist wirklich hervorragend. Stärk, stabil und gut drahtloses Internet. der Pool, Große Atmosphäre. Kurz gesagt - perfekt. Wie ich sagte - es war schwer zu gehen. Sehr empfohlen. Wir werden zweifellos zurück sein.

Verbrachte 3 Nächte hier Ende April. Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und man erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Larnaca zu Fuss. Die Lazaruskirche ist um die Ecke. Sauberkeit ist ok, außer dass zu kleine Bettücher genommen werden und man früh auf der Matratze liegt. Trotz der super Lage ist es nachts ruhig im Hotel. Frühstück ist allerdings etwas chaotisch-zu wenig Plätze für zu viele Gäste und manche hinterlassen ein Schlachtfeld am Buffet. OK für einige Nächte.

Neugierig habe ich jeden morgen nachgeschaut was mich heute unter den Deckeln der Warmhaltebehälter überrascht. Ich wurde nie enttäuscht: Alle Arten von Ei (Rührei, Omelett;...), dazu unterschiedlich zubereitetes Gemüse (Ofengemüse, frittierte Zucchinistreifen, gebackene Tomaten, usw.). Lecker waren auch die Salate, Alles lecker. Wer nur Brot mit Wurst, Käse und Marmelade will, der hat weniger Abwechslung. Die Strandpromenade, Restaurants und Kneipen sind nur einem kurzen Fußweg entfernt. Aber jetzt zu dem eigentlichen Hotelbetrieb. Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind immer freundlich und im positiven Sinn ”unaufdringlich”. Die Zimmer wurden vor kurzer Zeit renoviert - die Flure noch nicht - und sind sehr sauber. In meinem Zimmer gab es einen ca. einem Meter breiten Schrank mit einer Stange und zwei Brettern - Auf einem steht der Safe (Für den Schlüssel wird Pfand verlangt). Schubladen oder weitere Ablagen gibt es kaum. Ich hätte dem Hotel gerne Fünf Punkte gegeben, aber perfekt ist es nicht.

So, where to start.. At first glance, the hotel seems newish (rennovated), and the room we got was ok. But here where the problems started.. 1. There was only one worker at the whole hotel.. like the receptionist. Lucky us it wasn't busy. 2. TV - It was not connected to electricty at all. After we complained, and half an hour of ”fixes”, it turned on just to discover, that no channels worked. The official answer was: ”the natena is not tuned/turned to proper direction” xxx. 3. Safe - one of the reasons we ordered this hotel was because it metnioned it has i safe in the room!! Well, there was a safe in the room, but.. it was locked!! After another half an hour, we got an answer, that previous guest took the key with him, and ”there is nothing to be done”. We asked to simply replace the room, but.. ”not possible, all booked” (needless to mention, that we haven't seen any other guests besides ourselvers and another person the whole stay. Lucky fo us it was only 2 days stay!!
