Da es regnete, konnte ich die tolle Aussicht nicht genießen. Aber der Flughafen liegt ganz in der Nähe des Hotels und die Sicherheitsmaßnahmen sind sehr gut. Sehr gut geeignet für Familienaktivitäten und verfügt über einen Privatstrand. Das Frühstück ist ok, aber nicht so reichhaltig wie erwartet. Leider wird die Schlüsselkarte immer wieder entmagnetisiert, sodass die Karte jedes Mal ersetzt werden muss, was sich negativ auf das Erlebnis auswirkt! Die Zimmerausstattung ist etwas veraltet.

Obwohl der Privatstrand klein ist, ist er transparent und zufriedenstellend. Obwohl ich vor dem Check-in ankam, wurde mir sofort mein Zimmer gezeigt und das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und begrüßte mich immer mit einem Lächeln. Leider ist die Ausstattung im Zimmer veraltet. Die Badezimmertür ließ sich nicht schließen und der Zimmerkartenschlüssel reagierte nicht gut. Das Personal reagierte jedoch sofort.

Das Servicepersonal ist ausgezeichnet und macht Lust auf einen erneuten Aufenthalt. Allerdings entsprechen die Hoteleinrichtungen nicht der Fünf-Sterne-Qualität und am Strand werden ohne vorherige Ankündigung Wartungsarbeiten durchgeführt, sodass Schnorcheln nicht möglich ist.

Das Hotel ist super. Das Frühstück ist super lecker und alles vorhanden. Einziges Manko ist, dass das Zimmer zu alt ist. Alles andere ist gut. Ich habe es zweimal wegen einer Gruppenreise gebucht. Das Ganze ist wie im vorherigen Artikel .

Room ＞ Pros - very clean, nice king bed, and multiple outlets for charging.  ＞ Cons - “sea view” was a little disappointing and we could see more of a construction site as opposed to the ocean, which was quite far. No bidet/shower attached to toilet, and shower would not get hot enough at first (had to have staff come fix it).  Service ＞ Pros- staff were very helpful, greeted us at every turn, and did their best to accommodate any requests we had regarding the room and hotel services. The spa was also very nice and happy with the quality of massage we received by the staff. Same extends to the your desk, who were very helpful arranging a jetski session for us. ＞ cons - N/A Location ＞ Pros - nice location on Mactan island, with a private beach, relatively close to the airport which was a big plus. ＞ cons - a bit far from the city center, so the drive was quite long to Ayala mall. But not really a “con” if you intend to spend most of your time on the resort. Amenities ＞ Pros - overall room has everything we need as far as toothbrush, sanitary goods etc.  cons - complimentary water was not in the room when we first arrived, we had to ask for it thru guest services. Overall: Nice hotel, some small inconveniences but good value for money, and would stay again.

Very nice staff, nice hotel. Very accommodating to our requests. Too bad the beach club which they are famous for is under construction. The buffet doesn’t change menus at all so if you stay for more than 2 days gets too boring.

What an underwhelming experience staying at Movenpick Mactan. I had two reasons for booking at Movenpick after reviewing their website. I am a member of the loyalty program that Movenpick is associated. It wasn't until after I booked that I found out that the ACCOR Live Limitless loyalty program did not apply to this particular Movenpick hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our birthdays as well as wedding anniversary so when I saw the Ibiza facility on the website we were excited that this would be a celebration/vacation to remember. We soon found out after arrival that the Ibiza precinct had been damaged in a typhoon 3 YEARS AGO (2021) and had not reopened. I questioned an executive about the possible misleading information on the website and was told that it takes about 1 year to remove it from the website (really????) and another year to have it uploaded again so it was left there offering an experience that wasn't there. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff at all outlets were friendly helpful and very courteous. The same cannot be said of the snacks (spring rolls) near the pool that were served overcooked. The club sandwiches were delicious. Our anniversary dinner Crispy Pata and Pochero were bland and not up to what we would expect from a five star hotel kitchen. It was an underwhelming experience. If you want filipino food then walk to the entrance and diagonally opposite is the Morning Glory restaurant which we visited and enjoyed a delicious array of filipino cuisine.

Very nice hotel and helpful staff but not worth the price of ＞100 US dollars per night.

All good, especially the service.But the hot water in the bathroom.wss practically non existent. This was a major veto factor. Most times we had to either forfeit taking our shower or shower with cold water. Unless this is addressed we will not be coming back to this hotel.

This was so perfect. Everything here was absolutely perfect!

This is a good alternative to Shangri-La in the area. The staff are lovely. There’s a small beach and pool. The suite rooms are great!
