There a lot of additional fees once you check in the hotel. Other travelers experienced inconveniences with this hotel when booking through third party. I assume their system isn’t talking well with other third party sites. We were told they didn’t have the room we booked so they gave us another room. The location is great and you save 60% more by booking through third party applications but if you were to extend your nights there or use their parking then you’ll have to pay additional inconvenience charges.

Das Zimmer ist sehr schnell, das Hotel hat auch einen Fitnessraum und einen kleinen Pool, es sollte alles geben. Wenn es eine Nacht ausruht, ist es sehr gut, wenn der Wagen am nächsten Tag weg ist. Empfehlenswert!

Die Zimmerausstattung ist gut, die hygienische Lage ist gut, die Hotelumgebung ist sehr gut, das Zimmer im zweiten Stock ist sehr groß, sehr schlafend, es gibt keine Möglichkeit, zu schlafen. Mit dem Hotel wechseln, eine Sache voller Zimmer ist nicht möglich. Das Gefühl der Erfahrung ist besonders schlecht

Hotel itself was clean and very nice. Requested room away from the elevator, we were right next to it. Billed as ”dog friendly ” it should be ”dog allowed for a $75 fee” and that price with no pet area on the grounds. Was not happy about that at all. The pet area was about 2 blocks away.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was at the hotel. Checking was quick and friendly. I was given a delicious chocolate chip and walnut cookie after checking in. My room was quiet, clean, large, with a very comfortable queen bed, and a nice easy chair. Their airport shuttle also was available at 4 am, when I needed it. I will definitely stay again when I need to stay overnight near the airport.

Versuchen Sie nach 7 Uhr Frühstück, dann erhalten Sie alle Artikel sonst nur Brot und Kaffee. Einer Tage hatten wir um 6 Uhr, es war eine Katastrophe. Nächstes Mal hatten wir um 9 Uhr, so konnte ich das bf-Mahl bestellen @$10.99. Es war gut.

This was our first stay here and will keep it in mind as a more affordable option in the SLC Downtown space. In general, this is an older property that has the basics of a good place to stay. The rooms were clean and had a the larger ”dorm fridge” and a microwave. The beds/bedding were VERY comfortable. Parking is free and they do allow pets for a $25 fee. (NOTE: The Trip.com site says that pets are not allowed.) The location is very good, with walking-distance access to alot of restaurants, bars, entertainment, shopping, etc. We took a $7+ Uber to/from The State Room, which is only 1/2 mile away because I just had my hip replaced. Would normally have walked. What they could do better: While they have some beautiful plants on the property, they could spruce it up a bit with some paint and deep cleaning of the concrete walkways. The lobby/front desk reminds me of a motel in a seedy location. The front desk person is behind an enclosed Plexi-Glass structure and the lobby is not somewhere to gather, as it is not kept very clean. They do not serve food at all, due to COVID-era decisions (see picture), and the presence of junk food vending machines shows that they are not concerned with that decision and will continue that non-service going forward. (TIP: Go next door to The Red Beryl restaurant in the Doubletree. Excellent food, service, and prices!) Maybe if the front desk person offered a list of nearby eating establishments to guests when they check-in, this would be a non-issue. The only room challenge was that the blackout shade roller was non-operational, requiring a more manual approach with it to cover the window. As with a lot of hotels, they charge a $100 deposit that is given back when you check out. If you use a card, that's 3-5 business days. If you use cash, it's returned immediately after they perform a cursory room look-see. The staff that served us was not pleasant or unpleasant; pretty much a business attitude.

We drove from Lake Tahoe to Salt Lake, so it was a long day… thankfully the front desk was very accommodating and said they’d hold our reservation until 4:00am, we arrived a little after 1:00am. The room was adequate, although smelled a little odd (tha A/C?). The continental breakfast was good, but they ran out of waffle mix before my son & I could both get a full waffle. And we were going to hang out at the pool and hot tub until checkout but the pool was closed for cleaning or something… all-in-all a little disappointing, but hard to argue with the $109 pricetag for a family of 4…
