GGastnutzerIf you're looking for a truly immersive cultural experience, this is the place for you. It wasn't quite what I expected, but in a unique and memorable way. The ”cottage room” was charming but different from what I anticipated. It had no windows, except for the door, and the walls were constructed with bamboo, and for the windows there were branches that created gaps instead of traditional glass windows. As a result, I could hear the loud music from neighboring guests and the constant hum of traffic from the nearby road. Thankfully, earplugs were provided to help dull the noise.
I stayed in early November, when the weather was cool and rainy, so it wasn’t uncomfortable, but I imagine it could be much less pleasant during the summer months, despite the fan provided in the room. The communal bathroom is separate from the cottages but has a cozy, quaint feel.
The hostess was an absolute delight—welcoming, warm, and kind-hearted. Her generosity made the stay even more special. Overall, it was a one-of-a-kind experience that I won't soon forget.
