HHaJo_S755Nach längerer Zeit haben wir wieder im Continental übernachtet und waren - wie immer - äußerst zufrieden. Das Hotel ist eine gelungene Mischung zwischen Tradition und Moderne. Unser Zimmer (Nr. 111) bot einen hervorragenden Blick Richtung Park/Bahnhof und den Place d'Erlon. Das Bad ist groß und komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig. Der Frühstücksraum hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und bietet, v. a. wenn man einen Fensterplatz findet, einen großartigen Ausblick. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Für einen Aufenthalt in Reims ist das Hotel ideal!

Der größte Pluspunkt des Hotels stellt sicherlich die Lage direkt an der Kathedrale von Reims dar. Die Zimmer sind stylisch eingerichtet, wenngleich sehr klein. (Unsere Junior Suite hatte maximal 30-35qm und hatte mit einer Junior Suite nichts zu tun). Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für den SPA-Bereich, welcher kurz nach der Eröffnung um 9 Uhr morgens bereits dreckig und in keinem guten Zustand war. Einen weiteren Abzug gibt es aufgrund des mangelhaften Frühstücks. Am ersten Morgen waren wir im Restaurant, hier gibt eine rudimentäre Auswahl. Qualität und Quantität passen jedoch nicht zum Preisniveau zum Hotel. Es gibt kein Service am Platz und ebenfalls keine á la carte Gerichte. Den nächsten Morgen bestellen wir das Frühstück via Room-Service. Nachdem dieses rund 30 Minuten zu spät kam, fehlten mehrere bestellte Artikel oder es wurden falsche Artikel geliefert. (Angeblich gab es kein Baguette mehr im ganzen Hotel....) Beim Check-Out entschuldigte man sich für die Missstände und bot an, dass man das Frühstück von der Rechnung nehmen würde, obwohl es bereits in der Rate enthalten war? Sehr merkwürdiges Vorgehen. Ein speziellen Dank geht an Tomas (Parking/Bell Desk), von allen Mitarbeitern war er mit Abstand der engagierteste und freundlichste.

EEU-Traveller-EUEcht nicht gut... Die Zimmer sind wirklich enttäuschend. Hier kann man nur sagen, dass es sich um ein Hotel der Kategorie ”Nur Schlafen und schnell wieder raus” handelt. Das Zimmer war bad Taste par Excellance. Gerochen hat es bei Ankunft im Zimmer nach Kloake. Ein Glück konnte man die Fenster aufmachen. Die Lage ist absolut super, daher einen Stern mehr. Empfang freundlich. (Kaum Anerkennung von Spire Status)

Gute Lage in Fußgängerfernung von der Kathedrale, Stadtzentrum, Champagner Keller ...
Der Bahnhof ist auch nicht zu weit

GGuest UserGreat location! & parking available but they only have ~8 separate garages with doors, in a secure building(they give you the remote control access) 13€/24 hr with “in & out”. I booked ours the day of check in & got the last spot. You can pull up in front of hotel & check in & they will give you the remote & a map of where the garage is(1-2 blocks). Booked the “superior” room with air con & it was the individual type that is mounted high on the wall. It worked fabulous mid sept!! It did not have a coffee maker or frig, but the reception can loan you an ice bucket & the Monoprix (3 blocks) sells bags of ice(3€45). The bathroom was wonderful! Super clean. Common space (when reception closes for the evening) is only a vending machine with drinks/snacks with a small bench & chair right inside the entrance door. The lady that works FD was super helpful & friendly & her English was perfect. -Downside: the reception desk, tiny lobby with books, microwave & the awesome back outdoor terrace with tables & chairs is only accessible when the reception desk is open! We stayed on a wed & thurs when their website said open until 8:30pm so we hoped to enjoy the outdoor terrace in the evenings after sightseeing, so it was disappointing that we could not since they closed it at 7pm (2 nights in Reims will keep you busy & lots of sights don’t close until 7p) *the FD lady DID text us the day of check in to let us know..& would have text us codes to get in & room key if we arrived after 7p*

GGuest UserGroße Lage zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis. Es ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt. Recep war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Liebe, dass das Zimmer groß war mit Platz für mich, um meine Yogamatt bequem für einige Ausstrecken ausrollen. Glücklicherweise gibt es im Badezimmer eine Heizung, weil es sehr kalt im Zimmer. Nebenan: Dieses Zimmer kommt mit absolut keinerlei Ausstattung. Sie müssen mit allen Toiletten vorbereitet kommen.

LLivelaneWhere do I start! This seems to be the first review in a couple of years, things have not improved. Located on an industrial estate outside of Reims, but way too far to walk into the city, the area is bland to say the least. It faces a coach depot and a garage with a housing estate to the side and rear. For some reason the hotel is split into two buildings about 100m apart. The rooms are basic to say the least, they are small, hot, cramped with lino floors and bear no resemblance to the provided photos. You can easily touch the ceiling, the bath is tiny, the bathroom adequate at best, there is no safe, only one chair and if you put your feet out of the bottom of the bed you can touch the far wall with your feet. On a plus note the bed was quite comfortable and the place was clean. I cannot tell you what the evening food was like as we did not eat. Breakfast was not bad, having a reasonable choice of dishes on offer. I can tell you that other than being told we could not have a drink as we were not ordering food, and our friends being told that they could not eat their own at the tables outside I was not impressed. There appears to be an issue with security in the area... PLEASE take note. A motorbike was stolen from outside of the hotel around the time of our stay and our friends were approached by some shady taxi touting for business. This place is at best adequate for an overnight stop if you are looking for a cheap place to stay. Other than that, go elsewhere.

GGastnutzerThe rooms are quiet and well-equipped, beds are comfortable. In the bathroom the toilet is very low and getting into the bath is quite a challenge - and when you do finally make it you discover that you cannot teach the soap dispenser. which is high up on the wall, a fine position if you want a shower, but otherwise ... On the negative side, although there are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, no milk is provided and has to be requested at the bar, which is easier said than done when the bar is busy. The self-service breakfast is excellent, with everything you could possibly want, but I cannot recommend the dinner experience - you are expected to order via an app on the table, so if you don't have a smart phone you have to wait for ages until someone finally brings a menu, and the food, when it arrives, is very average and definitely not served with a smile.

DDr.HeinkeDas Hotel liegt sehr gut in der Altstadt und ist leicht zu finden . Das Spa gehört scheinbar nicht zum Hotel ist aber im selben Haus gelegen und 14:00 Uhr so dass wir es nicht benutzen konnten.
Empfang so freundlich professionell schnell.
Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt weil man sofort um die Ecke französischen im Straßencafe frühstücken kann.
Es gibt ein Parkplatz für uns leider nicht nutzbar weil wir ankamen. Aber die Hotelrezeption hat uns möglich gemacht einen anderen zu finden. Insgesamt haben wir sehr gut geschlafen die Klimaanlage war auch gut eingestellt.

Really lovely bungalows, under the sky. There is no air conditioning, but you don’t need any as the trees and the green keep the environment cool enough. It’s clean and nice. Kettle is provided with usual drink bags. Parking is handy and it’s quiete. I will go back again when around
