Currently staying in the renaissance room- up one flight of stairs but we were helped with our luggage from a young man I assume is the owners son. Room spacious with everything we need- a fridge and a microwave, hot shower, super comfortable bed. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. A 5 minute walk to all Dijon attractions and +++ restaurants. Breakfast included in our tariff and the food is abundant and fresh. The pain au chocolat this morning was amazing. If coming to Dijon, I can recommend highly.

GGuest UserFrustration from being woken to a hot room lead me to write this review in the middle of the night while still staying at this hotel…we’re here as part of a big tour group…It seemed like a promising place as the showers were big and the hotel was in a nice location. However, our AC experience was contrary to what was mentioned by another reviewer in the past. We were assigned a West facing room so imagine how hot the room got on a nice May day and it’s not even June yet. My thermometer showed that our room reached around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Initially had someone looked at our thermostat after we got back around 10pm from being outside for 5 hours as we had left our AC on (or so we thought) to keep room cool and ready for when we returned. Let’s chuck it up to operator error so had the AC reset and working so we can start cooling the room and fall asleep…was woken up to sweating 3 hours later at 1:30am as there was no air circulating and saw the AC power was shut off and the room was reading around 80 degrees again. Just had the AC thermostat turned on again so will have to see how long before it shut off again. Note: we tried opening our windows as it was much cooler outside at night…however, being only a floor up from the street level, the noise from the train/tram passing by across the street as well as street noice with people talking outside would not have been conducive for sleeping.

This hotel was very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The bathroom was a good size. The kitchenette had everything. They used an ”eco mode” that kept the a/c at a higher temp and you had to put in your key card to operate the lights. Great ideas. We didn't take the breakfast, but we ate our take out dinner on the breakfast patio one night and it was comfortable and decorated with lots of fun colors. The staff were all friendly. The lobby is 24h and there were snacks and things to buy if you wanted. There was also a laundry on site! Perfect! And there was a clothes line in the shower so we hung up some clothes to dry there. We arrived by train and took the tram to the place de la République stop. Very easy walk to the hotel from there. Then there is a free bus that can take you to the city center, but it is just as easy to walk it. Over all I wish we stayed longer because it was so comfortable. I will definitely recommend and stay again if I'm in Dijon!

Wir verbrachten 4 Nächte im modernen Mama Shelter im historischen Zentrum von Dijon. Die Highlights waren die Lage, ein engagiertes Serviceteam (insbesondere Lucianne, deren schönes Lächeln immer einladend war) und köstliche Badetücher. Leider ließen wir als Accor Platinum-Mitglied einige grundlegende Dinge vermissen. Bezahlbares WLAN, ein herrlich aussehendes Badezimmer, das ziemlich gefährlich war, und keine Tee- oder Kaffeezubereitungsmöglichkeiten (wir sollten heiße Getränke im Restaurant kaufen, kein Zimmerservice bei eiskaltem Wetter) – all das hat unseren Aufenthalt negativ beeinflusst. Ich verstehe, dass dieses Hotel nicht auf unsere Zielgruppe ausgerichtet ist, aber wenn wir diese grundlegenden Dinge anpassen, bin ich sicher, dass unser Aufenthalt 5-Sterne-Qualität haben wird.

Modern hotel, spacious, clean and tidy. Very friendly and service-orientated staff: by the way, that also understands and speaks English if your French is insufficient or absent at all. Breakfast was ok, but average. What was lacking is an instruction joe the machine that boils eggs works. Parking place is perfect.

GGuest UserAusgezeichnetes Hotel. Lage ist eines der besten, das ganze historische Zentrum ist in Schritt-zu-Schritt-Verfügbarkeit. Es gibt kleine Fragen zum Bett, wir konnten kein Zimmer mit zwei separaten Zimmern finden, und das große Bett ist nicht sehr bequem in den Zimmern im 5. Stock. Parkplatz - 15€ pro Tag
Der Grund ist eine tolle Bar. Das Hotel-Design ist modern und sehr stilvoll!

für die Wahl dieses Hotels war bei uns entscheidend, dass wir mit unserem Wagen voller Golfgepäck einen sicheren Parkplatz hatten und die innenstadt zu Fuß erreichbar war. Beides ist in diesem IBIS sehr gut gegeben, Parkhaus neuester Bauart vor der Tür und ein sehr netter Empfang an der Rezeption. Die Größe des Zimmers und dessen Zweckmäßigkeit hat mich jedoch an die Weltraumstation ISS erinnert, kleiner und zweckmäßiger geht wirklich nicht mehr! Wir hatten das Abendessen in dem , dem Hotel angegliederten Restaurant Le Central eingenommen, kann man wirklich empfehlen wenn man sich etwas gönnen will. Frühstück in angemessener Auswahl, Tischverteilung großzügig und nicht zu eng bestuhlt, wir kommen gerne wieder !

GGuest UserFür eine Nacht vollkommen ausreichend, es gibt aber eindeutig Verbesserungsbedarf. Der Eingangsbereich ist sehr schön und modern, das zieht sich aber leider nicht durch das gesamte Hotel. Die Flure machen leider keinen guten Eindruck. Die Zimmer wurden oberflächlich modern renoviert. Im Bad war es leider nur auf den ersten Blick sauber :( außerdem ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig (die Klospülungen sind aber auch extrem laut) und man hat die ganze Nacht Lärm von draußen aus der Stadt gehört... Achtung - französische Doppelbetten! War ein bisschen eng und kurz für zwei Personen, aber da muss man einfach im Vorfeld drauf achten... Pluspunkt: super Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden und abends draußen zu sein. Das Personal war auch total freundlich und nett!

PP3231UXgabrielwWe booked the hotel over the phone and spoke to a very nice and helpful lady. My girlfriend had injured her back while on holiday so we needed a ground floor room. This was well described and turned out to be just what was required. However, when we arrived her male colleague was on reception and was unwelcoming to say the least. He printed off a bill and I didn't immediately mention the subterranean car park I'd been told about on the phone. When I spoke up about this he tore up the bill in my face and muttered a few words. He printed off another bill, with parking included, and then gave me inaccurate directions to the car park. The following day i was trying to park outside the hotel to collect my injured girlfriend. The 'delightful' gentleman was in a car behind me honking his horn. He knocked on my window and muttered come choice words. When I explained I needed to collect my partner he shouted a few expletives and drove off. Not really what you'd expect when booking a 100€ hotel room.

Outstanding! We have stayed in this hotel numerous times before when on motorcycle tours as a stopping point on way to the mountains. We love the quiet location, the authenticity and the convenience of being able to park motorcycles outside. This year was really different with the excellent hospitality provided by Danny. He went above and beyond as an excellent host, fantastic barman and helped make sure we had an excellent stay in the city with recommendations for occupying ourselves in the evening. Even half the service provided would have put most hotels to shame, but really the stay was excellent thanks to him. We will certainly be back.
