das hotel ist ästhetisch gesehen ausgezeichnet gestaltet, auch wenn die langen Flure zu den Zimmern etwas eintönig wirken. Es wird sehr auf Sicherheit geachtet, der Fahrstuhl kann nur mit Zimmerkarte in Bewegung gesetzt werden, allerdings gibt es dann auch nicht die Möglichkeit, wenn man im falschen Stockwerk geraten ist, schnell zu Fuß über das Treppenhaus zurückzukommen. Besonders schön ist die Lobby gestaltet, das Frühstück ist limitiert in der Auswahl, aber lecker, es gibt keinen frischen Obstsalat, keine Nüsse zum Müsli etc. Mein Zimmer im 6. Stock mit Hafenblick war sehr ruhig, das WLan funktionierte gut. Das Bett war sehr angenehm, das Zimmer klein, aber alles Wichtige war vorhanden. Etwas unpraktisch fand ich die hinter dem Toilettendeckel angebrachte Wasserspülung. Schön fand ich auch, dass Tisch und Nachttisch aus Glas waren. Die Sauberkeit war perfekt. Für dänische Verhältnisse ging der Preis.

The guesthouse is located a moderate walk from the city centre but you can take the tram (if you can negotiate the faulty ticket-purchase system). Owner is friendly and helpful. Guests may use the kitchen to prepare breakfast etc. The place is clean and the wi-fi works.

Das beste Weg, um dieses Hotel zu beschreiben ist es funktional, nicht fantastisch. Alles, was Sie für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigen, ist verfügbar und sie veröffentlichen die Zimmer als ”industrielle” Aussehen (d. h. unendliche Decke). Der Eincheck ist nur über Kiosk verfügbar, auch wenn ein Betreuer auf dem Vordertisch verfügbar ist. Der Aufzug ist 2-door Stil. WLAN-Verbindung war vernünftig und der TV war betriebsbereit. Ein kleiner Tisch mit Stühlen ist im Zimmer und insgesamt war geräumig genug für 4 von uns. Pros: kostenlose Parkplätze - in der Nähe von vielen Supermärkten und auch der Mall Cons: die Gürtel nicht genug blockieren die Sonne. Da die Sonne im Sommer auf ist, mussten wir improvisieren und die Gräben zusammen klicken, um eine Ausfallwirkung zu erlangen. Für unser spezielles Zimmer hatte das Bettblatt eine Farbe auf ihm (wie es aus einer früheren Waschung verblieben ist). Für ein schnelles Bieten versuchen Sie die Pølsevognen Viby Torv im Park über die Straße.

Nachdem ich aus Vietnam nach Dänemark für eine Geschäftsreise kam, war dieses Hotel ein Stein durch das Büro, wo ich die nächsten 10 Tage in Århus, Dänemark verbringen werde. Das Hotel ist modern, funktionell und sauber, das Zimmer war komfortabel, und das Frühstück war perfekt, das Personal war immer aufmerksam und meine Gesamterfahrung während meines Aufenthalts war ausgezeichnet. Das Hotel ist etwas außerhalb der Stadt Århus, aber ein kleiner häufiger Zug-/Tramdienst ist buchstäblich ein paar hundert Meter zu Fuß vom Hotel ... Das Hotel als eine kleine Bar, wo Sie eine schöne kalte Pinte von Danish Beer genießen können!!!

Mehr: - Check-in-System sehr praktisch. - Sehr guter Schalldämpfung. - Funktionelle Sanitäreinrichtungen. - Restaurantplatz (einschließlich Mikrowellen und Kühlschrank). - Kaffee und Infusion im Freien Service. - Ein wenig von der Stadt entfernt (gesicherte Ruhe), aber weniger als zwei km entfernt. Minder: - Ein wenig kalte Orte (Bunker-Stil) und ein wenig verwirrend Konfiguration. - Kleine und nicht praktische Zimmer. - Netzwerk 4G und WiFi passen in den Zimmern schlecht.

The hotel is located right in the centre of the old town of Aarhus, a stone throw from the Domkirke. There is no off-street parking available but you could always use the Navitas car park or even the amazing Dokk1 Parkering in the docks. The handsome stucco façade stands out in the locality and the owners took great care in tastefully decorating the interior of the building, that includes its historical elevator, wall paintings and the reception area. Therefore, it’s a bit of shame that the same has not been extended to ensure the comfort of its guests. Our Standard Room was overlooking the main square but it was rather dark and not very spacious, with a classic décor. The lighting was limited with the main switch not working – side lights had to be turned on individually. There was precious little storage space as only about a third of the wardrobe was available and no other appropriate closets/drawers around. There was a rather high step between the bedroom and bathroom, just ideal for tripping on, in the dark! The bed was quite uncomfortable, with a very thin foam mattress and topped with a smallish duvet. The TV set was on the side of the bed (!) and programmes were only available if you had a suitably tuned smartphone device. We’re all for the options being offered to tech-savvy travellers but surely there has to be easier access for those guests who are less clued-in? The bathroom was of standard size, with a walk-in shower. The hairdryer had to be plugged in by the mirror, above the bathroom sink (there was literally nowhere else to do so, with a mirror!), so not quite sure about the safety aspect of such an arrangement. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. There was a safe-box but it was not working despite the valiant efforts of one of the receptionist. WiFi signal was good. Tea and coffee facilities were offered as well as a frugally stocked minibar. No free water was available. The breakfast was quite limited with a minimal selection of cold dishes and even less cooked food, available. The bread was very tasty. The hotel doesn’t provide dinners. The staff in the reception and the breakfast room were very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. They couldn’t do enough for us and always responded with a smile. Overall, it felt like the hotel has lots of potential although lots of that seems to have been squandered on half-baked ideas. Good enough to stay in as long as you don’t expect fireworks.

Das Personal ist freundlich und das Hotel sehr sauber. Das Ein- und Auschecken war sehr unkompliziert und kontaktlos möglich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Eine Straßenbahn fährt in der Nähe in Richtung Zentrum regelmäßig ab. Was für Urlauber weniger schön ist, ist die Lage in einem Gewerbegebiet. Abendliche Spaziergänge in schöner Umgebung fallen daher aus. Auch versprüht die direkte Nähe zum Uniklinikum nicht gerade Urlaubsstimmung. Längere Urlaubsaufenthalte finde ich daher nicht empfehlenswert.

Definitely mixed feelings about this one. On the positive side: It’s affordable and very well located in the city, near to everything and anything one might wish. There is quite well equipped kitchen space and the common areas are alright for sure. But my first impression wasn’t the greatest ; the room I got access to looked absolutely nothing like it was advertised, the bunk bed didn’t have curtains and there was no space for storage, it was just bunk beds in a cramped room . I was sure some mistake must have been made so I went back to the service desk letting the receptionist know that this wasn’t what I had booked. And that I wasn’t comfortable in a shared room without privacy curtains for the bed. They didn’t argue with me but didn’t offer any explanation or excuse, just gave me a new card key and told me to go to another floor. The new room looked more like it was advertised but it felt like nobody had opened a window in a while, it was messy, small and had an unpleasant smell. All bunk beds were occupied except two. When I looked up at my designated bed ; it didn’t have a curtain. I go back to the service desk a second time saying that my bunk bed did not have a curtain. This time the receptionist was apologetic but tinted with annoyance. They followed me up to show me the 3rd room to see “if this fits”. They opened the room and to my surprise it was more spacious, all bunk beds had curtains and there was only one other person staying in room. I accepted but still wondered why I wasn’t offered this the first time - highlighting the importance of privacy, then offering yet another room without it a the second time. All while this third room was available. It felt a bit weird and unwelcoming. The whole hostel has an unpleasant odour coming from what I’m guessing is the sewers since the smell is really bad in all bathrooms and showers. The general cleanliness isn’t the greatest either. I think staying here for maximum one night or two on the go is probably fine if you’re young and backpacking. But in my case; I will definitely book something else if I come visit Århus again.

Insgesamt war ich enttäuscht über das Comwell in Århus. Das Zimmer war viel kleiner als erwartet. Es gab Spuren von Limescale in der Dusche. Das Telefon hat nicht mit der Rezeption kommuniziert, nachdem der Rezeptionist mich mehr als 35 Minuten für meine Duschesap wartet, die ich persönlich am Rezeption informiert habe, dass es leer war. Und auch der Steuerer des Klimaanlagensystems funktionierte nicht, nur ein kühleres Luftblasen (wenn es bereits 5 Grad draußen war). Die Lösung war die Schließung der Ventile. Auch ich sollte eine VIP-Karte erhalten, die ein Teil meiner Kollegen erhalten hat und ein anderer nicht, obwohl wir zu derselben Gruppe gehörten.
