Das Zimmer ist perfekt. Es wurde von Hamidah so geschrieben auf der Karte vorbereitet. Sie verdient viel Dank für eine gute Arbeit. Der Crib servierte mir auch ein sehr schönes Abendessen (etwas Licht, wie von der Mitarbeiterin vorgeschlagen). Dieser Übernachtungsaufenthalt war ziemlich gut 👍😊 im Vergleich zu früheren.

Good location. Small clean room. In and out paid parking was OK. Complimentary breakfast was good (although service lacked customers focus). Would have loved to have a pool. Internet worked fine.

Ein Hotel mit einer großen Lage und schöner Stadtblick. Räumiges Zimmer einschließlich separater Wohnzimmer und großer Balkon. Auf der Website Wäscherei und (bezahlt) Parkplatz verfügbar. Da unten war, dass die AC-Temperatur nicht vom Raumpanel kontrolliert werden kann, Sie müssen alle/(mehrere) Zeit(en) der Rezeption zu diesem Zweck kontaktieren.

An older Sofitel compared to some others I stay at as a an Accor Platinum member but my experiences have all been quite postive when I stay here. Staff as usual were very friendly and helpful which is what brings me back to Accot hotels, and the fact my room is almost always ready early. Quite a large hotel with a few different options for food and drinks. The breakfast is quite good, alot of options and plenty of room to sit and relax. The gym is on the smallish side but nice pool and amenities. My King room was quite dated badly in need of a renovation but its quite big and the bed was comfortable. Parking can be a bit difficult at times. The location is very convenient if you are coming by train and its only 5 minutes walk into the CBD. Overall a good hotel and experience.

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

Room was excellent, recently refurbished, USB C (and older USB) outlets to charge devices, rain head shower, quiet aircon, and quiet bar fridge. In-house Japanese restaurant was great, as was the breakfast option (how can bacon be made even better? char grill it!). Staff were friendly, price was low, location was close to public transport and scooter rank (if that's your thing) no complaints at all, will definitely go back when in Brisbane.

Das neu geöffnete Voco ist ein schönes Hotel, das sich in einem sonst leicht dreary-looking Gebäude versteckt. Von außen sieht es ein unverschämter Tad aus, aber inne ist gründlich renoviert und ist ziemlich schlau. Die Zimmer sind sehr dunkel und nichts besonderes, aber innerlich wurden die Zimmer neu aufgebaut, um sich zu sehen und sich für Geschäftsreisende-Standards ziemlich luxuriös zu fühlen. Das Frühstück war eine ausgezeichnete Ausstrahlung und die Aussichten aus den hochgeschossigen Zimmern sind ziemlich schön. Eine Sache ist zu beachten: Es gibt derzeit (Juli 23) große Straßenbauten, die einen Block entfernt von North Quay, die Straße aus der Vorderseite des Hotels stattfinden. Das Hotel hatte keinen Lärm, aber der Verkehr vor dem Hotel bewegt sich mit einem Schneefall. Für Taxi-Flucht/Pick-ups bitten Sie um die Ecke von George St und Ann St. Es ist ein 100m Fuß und Sie sparen viel Zeit.

Wasn’t planning on staying here, but was bumped to this accomodation at the last minute by Clix. So a bit disappointed as we were staying at one of their other buildings which was closer to restaurants etc and had a better pool. The apartment was clean and looked out over the hills and river, the bed was comfortable. Could have done with more kitchen utensils like a baking tray for starters. Stove had a wok burner but no wok or fry pan. Tiny wash basin with no side bench so had to put stuff on floor. Shower door handle had coroded and needs replacing. Disappointed in the pool, even though technically out doors it was all under cover thus no sun light so a bit chilly as it acted as a wind tunnel. Also was on 22nd floor and could still hear trains that ran past building.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was very large and clean. There is a lounge area and kitchen separate to the bedroom and bathroom. I also had a very large balcony. The furniture is a bit dated, but it's all clean and in good condition. There is no servicing of the room during a stay so ration your toiletries and the like. Reception is only available limited hours and not outside business hours. Overall a good base for a work trip to Sydney.

Travelling to BNE every 15 days and I used to stay in the CDB, even when attending some conferences in BCEC. Due to a last minute booking, I ended-up at the Novotel few months ago, and this place is officially my new HOME when in town. Clean and tidy very modern quiet rooms, 100m walk from exhibitions halls (thanks to a shortcut at the back), with a 24/7 accessible parking (you can get in and out easily), this place is super convenient. You are just next door to all what Southbank has to offer and a short walk distance (or scooter ride) to the CDB (pedestrian bridge over the river) Staff are young and efficient, smiling all day. ACCOR Motto btw. Last but no least, you stay far from the noisy students/backpackers nightlife + trains / highway of downtown. After all, even if you are in Bris-Vegas, you came here for a rest!
