Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt am Lake Tekapo, und vom Hotel aus konnte man die Schafe auf der Farm sehen. Allerdings war die Hygiene sehr schlecht. Auf dem Bett waren Haare, und es stand noch ein angefangenes Shampoo vom vorherigen Gast herum. Die Bettdecke war vergilbt! Für ein so teures Hotel ist das wirklich inakzeptabel. Am nächsten Morgen hatte ich ein geschwollenes Auge, und mein Freund hatte zwei Schwellungen auf dem Rücken – sehr ärgerlich. Die Mountain View Suite entpuppte sich als eine Kombination aus einer Suite und einem Doppelzimmer, was eine sehr eigenartige Raumaufteilung ergab. Wenn man kochen möchte, sollte man beachten, dass in der Küche kein Öl vorhanden ist.

perfect location for the lake view. we can even see sky full of stars in one of the car park which have very minimum surrounding lights. a stone throw away from the central of almost all activities. staff were very friendly and even gave us an umbrella when its raining. breakfast were alright standard hotel breakfast but coffee was nice tho. the suite were nice size with good cooking facilities. dinning table sit 6 adults.

I booked lake view room but there is a big tree in front of my  room.  Also, there is construction outside the wall of the room.  I can see someone was doing their job.  However, the reception staff said they did not know about it.

I stayed at Peppers Bluewater Resort Lake Tekapo and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the lake and nearby attractions, making it very convenient to explore the beautiful surroundings of Lake Tekapo. The resort offers spacious and comfortable rooms, and the overall environment is quiet and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. However, one area that could be improved is the hot water supply. During our stay, the hot water was not consistent, which affected the overall comfort, especially in the morning. This seems to be a common issue mentioned by other guests as well. With some improvement in this aspect, the stay would have been much better. Overall, still a good option for its location and scenery.

Best location at Lake Tekapo; very near to the church and walking/running route and very convenient to local supermarket and restaurants. Impress and love the scent of shampoo and shower gel. It is the most expensive hotel for our trip but worth it!

The description of the room in Trip.com was very misleading. The room is the size of a broom closet with a king bed. No side chairs or even a place to lay out suitcases. The room also came with its own can of “Raid”.  There was one very small window with a view of nothing. Certainly does not represent a “resort”, nor was it worth the money spent.

Reception staff isn’t friendly and not enough parking area. 9 April In the morning around 08:00am , outside of my room start of the air conditioning engineering that was too noise.Hotel no prior notice. I’m shocked. Very disappointed for this accommodation experience in my New Zealand trip. Not recommend.

Room is too small. No management of car parking. Will not book this hotel again. Room rate is high but can’t provide any service.

Amazing Stay with Stunning Views! Peppers Bluewater Resort offers an incredible view of Lake Tekapo—absolutely breathtaking scenery that we truly enjoyed throughout our stay. The location is very convenient, just about a 10-minute walk to the base of the Dark Sky Project. The service was excellent. The staff thoughtfully prepared a welcome gift to celebrate our honeymoon, which made us feel warm and truly welcomed. The indoor space is fantastic: a large living room with an open kitchen, a balcony to enjoy the beautiful lake view, and a spacious bedroom and bathroom featuring both a standing shower and a bathtub. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Highly recommend Peppers Bluewater Resort for its perfect combination of stunning views, great location, and exceptional hospitality!
