We spent our wedding night in this hotel. The room was exactly how we wished and very classy. The hotel had taken into account our special day and there were towelswans, sparkling wine and creeting card awaiting us in the room. Myself and my bride were extremely impressed. The room was very clean, stylish and felt luxurious and unique. The staff was extremely nice and it was super easy to arrange earlier check-in, so that we only needed to pick up keys when we arrived in late hours. Breakfast was also extremely tasty and versatile and checking out super easy and comfortable. 10/10 experience and would recommend to others as well. Easily the finest hotel in town.

Ok hotel for good location, in the city centre. Car parking was two different building, also rooms is two different buildings, staff OK, breakfast OK and large, many choices, room ok,we have quite big room for oval window. Hoten is heart of Lahti city, You can easily walking around and see city.

Deffinitely you should choose room from Loft house. Unique rooms, inside garden with fountain. So beaugiful details. Hotels breakfast is also very good.

Stayed here for one night only but have loved to stay much longer. Our loft room was absolutely fantastic can´t fault a single thing. Breakfast was very good too with plenty of delicious options. Service friendly and attentive from start to finish. Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I went to the Saturday brunch after 11 o'clock, according to the hotel's wishes. The employee who seemed grumpy cashed us and at the same time humiliated those who were ahead of us in the queue and pointed to an empty table by saying that he is "the only person here who knows where is free and where is not". The hall was completely sold out. The used dishes were taken away a little at a time and very slowly. The coffee was served to the table only after a request 25 minutes after our arrival. The porridge was lukewarm. The "real" scrambled eggs were watery and looked suspiciously made of powder. The hall on the second floor does not work as full. The uproar was huge, the queues were long and the staff's behavior chaotic. The price-quality ratio was miserable. Avoid this place.

Scrambled eggs in Seurahuone is homemade from cream and eggs. Not made of powder. We had a very busy weekend. Breakfast for our accommodated guests ends at 11:30 and this Saturday last 30 minutes was still very crowded. I feel sorry that you got impression of rude staff. Our job is to make all guests feel good in Seurahuone. Based on your feedback we need to advice our guests more- even in a very rush moments. Excellent hotel although choice limited in Lahti. Rooms and bathrooms well furnished. Interesting bathroom fittings made from wood chip. Really effective and environmentally friendly. Rooms not serviced every day ( not sure of frequency). Avoid restaurant if hotel busy. Have waited three hours on one occasion (although meal given free) and forty five minutes on another (not free on that occasion). Food mediocre and not cheap

Stayed here for staycation during Midsummer. Apart of beautiful loft room and maticulous housekeeping, the hotel was total disappointment with "coudn't care less" reception staff and all facilities closed. Reception did not have even tap water on offer during hot weather, ice cubes were not available for patrons and room was unbearably hot as aic-con did not function. This hotel also wins the trophy for THE WORST room-service breakfast served ever: in paperbag with items just thrown in and no possibility to pre- choose the dishes and items. All this with hefty price of 29€. I wrote directly to GM after my stay and received nonsense response from her with corporate half-hearted apology.

I stayed in a room with beautiful furniture - all sourced locally I understand - and an eco-friendly wash handbasin made of composite wood in a luxurious dark bathroom with underfloor heating and automatic low lighting prompted by movements in the night. So no bright lights to startle you awake but no stubbed toes either! The breakfast is brilliant with lots of options – and again most of the food is sourced from the area around Lahti - which has become the Centre for the Lakeland area beyond. I was able to use a free hotel bike every day to cycle to the fabulous Sibelius hall 2 km away for nightly concerts as part of the unique Sibelius festival there. It saved time and money and let me explore the city including the newly opened and really fabulous Malva art and design Museum. Finally the staff were calm, friendly and always on hand. This is a really excellent hotel.

I am surprised that the breakfast does not include Salmon. At the best hotel in Lahti I woild expect it would be included as it is in the Helsinki Airport Hilton, for example. Limiting guests to only one piirakka each provided by an attendant also seems strange. While guests can ask for more, guests are not asked at the outset how many they would like and they are not available as part of the buffet table. The thermostat in our Loft Room does not work. I tried to turn the temperature down and nothing happened over 3 days. Same thing happened last year. I mentioned it last summer to the front desk clerk who said it would be checked but I did not bother this year. Internet connection on my mobile disappeared every time I put the phone down/let it close. I had to log in all over again each time I opened the phone again. For international guests on a foreign data plan this is seriously annoying. And I have never been in any other luxury hotel that functions this way. There was no corkscrew in the room and the bar staff said they had no extras to loan us; a front desk attendant was kind enough to retrieve one from her office. There were no voltage converters available at the front desk (our bags with converters in them did not arrive from the airline until the second night). There is also no electric shaver outlet for 110 voltage shavers unlike most luxury hotels around the world, which is inconvenient because those can also be used to recharge cellphones and hearing aid chargers without the need for an adapter/converter in a pinch even though the signage always says “for shavers only”. We have been coming to Lahti for 50 years ever since I married a Lahti girl, and we love this hotel, which is certainly the best one in Lahti, but it would be even better for international travelers in particular if management would make some simple changes in policies and facilities. And the Solo Sokos in Lahti hosts many international travelers, particularly for athletic events. I sent this message to the hotel via its app since I pay for its hotel S-Card club membership even though we do not live in Finland (I love the discounts and the restaurant; we are staying there 4 times just this summer during our annual two months Finland summer trip, sometimes with other family members as well) but the response was underwhelming. The corporate culture likely could use a bit of re-energizing in this time of post-COVID travel expansion.

Solo rooms were spacious, comfy and in the middle of the city. Good breakfest and great service. Trattoria restaurant had the best pizza ever. Really had to recommend the food and the service. Take the time off and explore Lahti. Malva Museum for example.
