Hotels mit Transferservice in Lagoa

Mein zweiter Aufenthalt ... keinerlei Beanstandungen. Ich habe das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen gebucht. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel im Allgemeinen, das Apartment, das Restaurant und der Poolbereich waren sauber und ordentlich. Das Beste von allem: Alles funktionierte wie es sollte. Das optionale Frühstücksbuffet bietet reichlich Auswahl. Der Pool ist gut zum Abkühlen, aber nicht groß genug zum Schwimmen.

Wir waren in Porches in einem Airbnb, wo wir uns nicht sehr wohl fühlten. Es war die zweit letzte Nacht vor unsere Abreise. Wir ruften das Hotel spät an ca 22:30Uhr ob sie noch ein freies Zimmer haben. Wir konnten direkt hinfahren und ein sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer einchecken. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Die Lage vom Hotel war super! Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut es hat für alle etwas dabei.

Die Hotelanlage und die Zimmer sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Die TV - Geräte sind veraltet und als deutschsprachiges Programm ist nur der ARD empfangbar, wobei die Textseiten fehlerhaft angezeigt werden. Das Badezimmer ist neu renoviert, wobei allerdings das Bidet nicht benutzt werden kann, weil es zu nahe am Waschbecken montiert wurde. Der Balkon ermöglicht eine freie Sicht auf das Meer und das Rauschen des Meeres ist angenehm hörbar. Das Essen von Buffet ist akzeptabel, wobei die Auswahl nicht einem 4 - Sterne Hotel entspricht. Sauna und Dampfbad sind nicht vom übrigen Wellnessbereich abgetrennt und können deshalb nur mit Badebekleidung benutzt werden. Die Holzverkleidung der Sauna ist ziemlich schwarz und sollte dringend renoviert werden. Komisch ist der Weg vom Wellnessbereich zu den Zimmern, welcher am Speisesaal vorbei durch den Eventraum zu den Liften führt.

Another great stay at Mirachoro Carvoeiro - we have stayed here many times and will return next year. The hotel has just wonderful staff, friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is superb, with everything you need to start the day. The room we had was one that had been refurbished since our last visit. I have said many times that this hotel just ticks all our boxes for a comfortable stay.

Wir fanden die Hotelanlage wunderschön und gepflegt. Vitor's liegt nicht weit von der Altstadt entfernt, auch zum schönen Strand Praia Grande ist es nicht weit. Unsere Zimmer waren sehr groß, hell und ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung der Küchenzeile ist aber minimal. Es gibt Teller, Tassen, Gläser Bestecke, aber keine Kochutensilien wie z.B. Töpfe. Verwundert waren wir, daß unseren Freunden, die ein Premium Apartment gebucht hatten, Badetücher verweigert wurden, nicht aber dem Rest der Truppe, der die billigeren Junior Suites gebucht hatte. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit. Besonders loben wollen wir das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet und das à la carte Abendessen (sehr gutes Preis- Leistungs-Verhältnis). Alles in Allem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit und kommen gern wieder!

Anfahrt, freundliche Begrüßung an der Schranke durch den Portier, Willkommens-Empfang schon vor dem Eintritt in die gemütlichen Rezeptionsräumlichkeiten, Rundfahrt durch die Anlage bis vors Zimmer, mit den besten Informationen, Tipps für Restaurants und Antworten auf alle Fragen, durch den überaus hilfsbereiten und sehr netten Andres. So zieht sich die Kette der Freundlichkeit durch alle Bereiche. Ob beim Frühstück, wo einen ein herzlich, sympathisches Team erwartet oder beim Dinner, da geht es genauso höflich und charmant weiter, wobei uns hier Carlos, mit seiner Aufrichtigkeit und Haltung besonders gefallen hat. In der Wellness Oase ist es die gesamte Crew, die eine Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre schafft und hier möchte ich insbesondere Paulo erwähnen, unter dessen Hände ich geraten war und den ich nur empfehlen kann. Wobei Maria ebenso ihre Tätigkeit professionell verrichtete. Ebenso das Gärtner-Team und die Damen der Zimmerreinigung, alles war im Einklang. Ohne jetzt Details einzeln zu bewerten, die komplette Anlage ist fantastisch. Wenn Algarve, dann auf jeden Fall ins Vilalara Thalassa Resort.

Das Hotel ist eine hervorragende Lage für ein Hotel und ist nun vollständig renoviert zu einem sehr schönen 4-Sterne-Hotel. Wir haben hier vor der Renovierung geblieben, aber jetzt ist das Hotel so viel moderner und ideal für den Besuch von Carvoeiro. Wir blieben in einem fantastischen Meerblickraum vorne, das perfekt für den Sitz am Balkon, ein Getränk, ein Lesen oder ein Buch oder Kartenspiel zusammen. Das Restaurant war geschlossen, als wir da waren, so wurden uns Frühstücksgutscheine zu verwenden in Jan oder im Zentrum gegeben. Beide Restaurants bieten großartige Frühstücksbuffets, die besser waren als das Buffet, das Sie im Hotel bekommen hatten! Die Zugabe der Dachbar ist unglaublich, fantastische Aussichten, schöne Cocktails und großartiges Personal. Dieses Hotel ist immer perfekt gelegen, aber nicht richtig upgradiert ist es das ideale Hotel in Carvoeiro!

We've just returned from a 10 night stay at Placid Village and loved it. We had a 2 bed apartment and we've never had such a spacious apartment, it was huge! It was a bonus to have a second toilet with a washing machine and a dishwasher in the kitchen. The A/C worked really well and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool area is small but even though it was the summer holidays there was never a mad dash for sun beds in the morning, which was great. The complex has a little snack bar for drinks and ice creams during the day. And the reception staff were friendly and informative. It is a bit of a walk into the centre (20 mins) but we enjoy walking so it wasn't an issue. Don't let the walk put you off as Ubers and taxis are really reasonable. We used an Uber to get to the Intermarche supermarket and it was less than €4. There's a decent mini market about 5-10 mins away from the complex. We loved the resort of Carvoeiro, our 1st visit. We ate in lots of lovely restaurants, Bella Rosa, Xamor and the tapas place near the beach, to name a few. The sky bar at the Tivoli and sky bar 360 near the beach are great for a sundowner cocktail. And there's a lovely little bakery (turn left instead of right on the road at the bottom of the big hill). Worth visiting for breakfast. We walked to Algar Seco to see the cliffs/caves which are spectacular. We visited the Benagil caves and went kayaking. We also went to Ferragudo for the day, which was under €10 in an Uber. We had a fantastic holiday and we were really happy with everything about Placid Village.

Context - 12 night stay, family with 2 young teenagers in August We stayed in Villa 100, a 'luxury 2 bed townhouse' Accomodation: Great accomodation, some maintenance required, but not important. The accomodation was spacious, clean, beds were really comfortable, showers were great, loads of kitchen storage, sofas really comfortable, effective air com, kitchen with 4 burner hob, ovem, microwave, toaster, cofferr machine, washing machine and dryer. 5 star comfort, and nearly 5 star appearance (just a few maintenence piece needed ie chips in kitchen cupbaords, locks of bathrooms not aligned etc) Outside the accomodation we had 2 loungers, 4 would have been better, a table with 4 chairs with a few of a small pool. The pool near our villa was excellent. We generally were able to get this to ourselves at some points in the day, and there were always loungers available. This isn't the main pool. The main pool is a couple of minutes walk from the villa, and again excellent. it was quiet, but still an atmosphere, no problem getting loungers. On one day we had to hunt down an umbrella. There is also an indoor pool, that opens out to a terrace. Didn't think we'd use it, but it was really nice, and we used that as well. Useful when it's windy and the outdoor pool got chilly. The spa was good. My wife had a treatment that she said was very good. there was a steam room and sauna, both good, a small gym (didn't use). Jacuzzi was open, but didn't seem to work ie no bubbles! Outdoor pool bar was closed for refurb, but an indoor alternative was available. Restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. We were self catering, used it once, and didn't return. The food was ok, but comparing it to the external restaurants we ate at, was nowhere near as good and significantly more expensive. Service in the restaurant was more comparable to a 3 star hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that 'portuguese' night was just a subset of the standard A la carte menu. Housekeeping were variable, ranging from spectacular to average! Some days they even unloaded our dishwasher which was a lovely touch. Other days they took away hand towels and didn't replace them. Resort did not have much to do for teenagers, other than making their own entertainment in the pool, but for us that was fine. Overall, a hotel is pleasant, lovely pool areas and accommodation is extremely comfortable but let down by the restaurant. Outside of the resort, in Carvoeiro we ate at 'Elliots' in the centre, and 'Recanto da Boavista' (2 minute walk from the hotel). Both of these restaurants were excellent, and catered well for my son who has a milk allergy. The other place we went to in Carvoeiro was Sandoskas. Again really good, but more cheap and cheerful. Whilst their bread contains milk, their baguettes don't, so hot dogs with baguette is a milk free option! The ice cream shop opposite also does a good range of vegan ice creams. Me my wife and 2 children aged 11 and 12 have just come back from a 4 night break here . First the reception guy couldn’t have been any nicer on first arrival . When I said I’m checking in he said first things first , how was your trip? . Absolutely lovely guy as were all the staff we encountered . Our side view double room was spotless . The beds were comfy as was the kids sofa bed. Onto the food . Overall we all thought the food was really good . A lot of variety and both my kids were going up for 2nd and third plates . The staff again were amazing and very polite . The British people on here complaining about the food must be used to chicken nuggets and other junk food. My youngest is the pickiest eater imaginable and she loved the food . She tried all sorts of food including paella and the different veg on offer and lived most of it . The snack bar does do basic burgers and hot dogs if that’s your thing but we’re in Portugal not the uk so we were more than happy with the food . The only thing I would say would maybe increase vegan options ? My wife can’t have dairy and although there was enough dairy free options she was quite limited in what she could have . Maybe a vegan pizza, or 1 or 2 vegan desserts and some oat milk would have been great. Soya milk is available at breakfast but is the most inferior of milk alternatives so a choice would have been nice . Now the entertainment . Just a big thankyou to all the entertainment/animation team.We enjoyed all the night time entertainment . The Portuguese dance show was great as were the traditional costumes . The tunnel of terror was brilliant ! Halloween is quite a big thing in our house and this was better than any of us expected . There was a delay on us entering but the young French lad was so polite and apologetic and kept telling us they want to get it right and it has to be safe . All 4 of us were absolutely buzzing when we came out of the tunnel . You could see the work and effort that had gone into this. Speaking of work and effort , the final Halloween show. Wow ! Absolutely brilliant . I can’t imagine the effort end work that went into this . The young French girl with blonde who created it was in tears at the end which showed how much it meant . My wife turned to me and said “I knew she’d have had something to do with it “ all the animation team were amazing but this girl was non stop throughout the entertainment , so a special thankyou to her . The entertainment is not aimed at the French . It’s done in 4 languages English, french , Portuguese and Spanish . I think the British people complaining should stick with places like Benidorm . In fact the worst parts of our break was British kids running wild whilst their “parents” were getting to drunk to care . Older French people at the buffet not understanding how to que was also annoying but in no way the fault of the hotel . Thanks again to the hotel and all the staff we encountered ! Ashley ,room 1432
