went here on early Feb 2023. I thought it was just a normal shop lot/budget hotel. However when i step in the lobby, i got shock with the interior & ambience, feels like in a 4 star hotel. The housekeeping staff name Hidayah really did a great job for do some room tour with us. she show us a few room type and explained every details & facilites in the hotel. the reception (Indian guy, cant remember his name) was very polite & helpful upon check in. This hotel has a live band every evening, free parking area for guest (but have to walk a bit), a nice and cozy restaurant & a small gym. the bed & pillow was so cozy, it has aircond & fan too! They provided USB charger as well in the room. The shower room was spacious and very clean. i would love to recomended this hotel to all if you all want to have a trip at IPOH!

Die Ankunft ist relativ günstig, aber es gibt keinen Ort, wo die Gepäckstücke gespeichert werden, und die Gepäckstücke können mit Trockenheit abgesehen werden. Unzufrieden mit dem Dachpool. Im Hotel unterhalb des Hotels sah ich eine Nachricht, dass es Wartung war. Es gab einen großen Teil der Gründe, dass die Buchung erfolgte, weil es diesen Pool sah. Der Laufwerk im Fitnessraum war sehr alt. Es gab keine Klimaanlage im Fitnessraum. Der Elektrifizierungsschrank ist nicht vorhanden. Grundsätzlich ist es fizikal... Es kann nicht sehr warm bleiben für ein paar Minuten; die Zimmereinrichtungen sind noch warm, die Schneidschneidschneider auf dem Tisch sind voll und die Klimaanlage hat alle Zimmer; unzufrieden ist das Wäschereibügel im Badezimmer, das lange verbrannt, das Badewasser ist immer noch sehr warm, das Haar kann sogar kalt gesagt werden. Keine Zahnfäden, die Würmer haben leere Verpackungsfäden, die den Würmer nicht gesehen haben; die Würmer wurden mehrere Male mit einem Würmerpapier gehackt, die Würmer sind schwarz und die hygienische Reinigung muss verstärkt werden.

Very comfortable bed. Room size is just nice for overnight stay. Breakfast buffet is reasonable and afternoon hi-tea (canapes, sushi) was impressive! Wifi is strong. Room decor is grey and added in yellow dim lights, the setting is somewhat depressing even when it's a sunny day outside. Also need to close curtains all the time as room window faces inner mall and you can see ppl walking past :(

Apartment Features: The apartment I stayed in was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It had an open-concept layout that combined a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining nook. The kitchen had all the essentials—fridge, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays. The living room had a large flat-screen TV and comfy seating, creating a great space for relaxation. The bedroom was cozy with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a clean, modern feel with a spacious shower and high-quality amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather. Service: While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. They also provided helpful information on local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Amenities: One of the standout features of The Cove Hillside is the range of amenities. The infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking, offering sweeping views of the surrounding hills. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The fitness center is well-equipped with modern machines and free weights, great for staying in shape. There’s also a barbecue area that can be reserved for gatherings, which adds a nice touch for family or group stays. Plus, the complex is gated with 24-hour security, so I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay.
