Bwindi View Lodge & Camp Site

Extremely welcoming lodge with fantastic attention , food , surrounded by flowers and birds . Private rooms in bungalows with porch . Amazing food and great prices including the meals . Breakfast has so many options too . Fresh fruit platters . The rooms are prepared at night , the bed is warmed and the mosquito net is prepped On your bed . I’ve never slept so well ! It was an amazing experience here in Bwindi !

What a great experience. Bwindi View Lodge is a welcoming, lovely mid-range hotel that has the best location - within the Buhoma gate and literally across the street from the Visitor Center where you go for gorilla trekking/bird-watching/etc. The food is REALLY good - and they accommodated my wheat allergy and our group’s vegetarian needs really well. The staff is all nice. The grounds are gorgeous - so many beautiful birds, and quite the view of the mountains. We had great, quiet nights of sleep - the rooms are well done with nice mats on the concrete floors, clean sheets, well-kept mosquito nets, and a great layout. The photos show lots of local prints, and they are welcoming and fun. They left us hot water bottles on chilly nights, and made sure we were safe and happy. They made sure we had internet when we wanted it. All in all, an excellent stay and I hope I can come back.
