A lovely place to stay in Kingscote and literally across the street from the bay. The owners were wonderful and prompt with communication at all stages and offered helpful suggestions on places to visit. Villa was spacious with plenty of storage space - could definitely stay here for a week or two! It was a 2 BR unit, but we only used one of the bedrooms. Villa and decor were contemporary. Kitchen had basic necessities in terms of dishes/glasses/flatware (pretty much just four of each) - which seem to be consistent, if not generous, among apartments and apartment hotels in Australia. Many other nice touches, including a liter of milk, local coffees and teas, and assorted cereals. Plenty of dish detergent, clothes detergent and bath towels. There is a washing machine, but no dryer; a drying rack is provided. Wi-fi was excellent. Nice to have adjoining private garage.

Die Hotelumgebung ist sehr gut, ruhig und komfortabel, direkt am Meer, das Zimmer hat einen wunderschönen Meerblick. Sie können entlang der Hauptstraße zum Pier und in die Stadt laufen, kommen aber nachts so früh wie möglich zurück. Nur eine Seite der Straße ist etwas dunkel, obwohl es nicht gefährlich ist.

Meine Partnerin und ich blieben in Cabin 5 nach der Evakuierung aus der Flinders Chase wegen der Buschfeuer im Nationalpark. Der Manager, Georgien, ist wunderschön und sehr reaktiv über das Telefon, und konnte uns letzte Minute eine Kabine finden, da wir andere Unterkunft, die wir gebucht hatten, zu vernichten mussten. Sie hat uns so geholfen und wir sind so dankbar. Die Kabine war sauber, gut ausgestattet und in einer tollen Lage unter dem Busch. Die elektrische Heißplatte und Mikrowelle ermöglichten uns, ein anständiges Abendessen zu kochen, und es gab eine Klimaanlage und einen Fan, um den Ort kühl zu halten. Wir haben in vielen Kabinen um Australien geblieben, so dass wir diese Art von Unterkunft lieben. Hoch empfehlen für jeden, der Bush Unterkunft mag!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was fantastic for our family of 4. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable (especially the beds). We loved that we had cooking facilities available to use, however when it came to cleaning the dishes there was no dish rack to put the dishes to dry or no steel wool (or other appropriate cloth) to properly clean pots and pans. Also another important thing to note is that the 2 bedroom apartment is on the 2nd floor and is accessed up a flight of stairs. This wasn't an issue for us, but could be an issue for those that have trouble with stairs. The location of the apartment was fantastic. It was right across the road from the Tidal pool which our kids loved. And it was walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay at this accommodation again should be ever come back to Kangaroo Island
