Disappointed in our stay. I booked on hotel website - not discount booking. I wrote Husband and I were going to be celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary. I requested a King oceanfront room especially for a sofa for my husband. He is disabled and really wanted me to enjoy the ocean but is mobility limited. He so much wishes he could walk beach/sand but not a reality- So, he stayed in room on sofa, watched TV and sat balcony, as I waved to him. Well, guess I am expecting too much - no one mentioned our anniversary. I guess being corporate owned - all about money, not guests. The clerks checking in and out, both male, rude, talking among selves, all business no personality. I reported the sofa when I checked out but sure my concerns went no where. There is no housekeeping. I had to go to the office for coffee, towels and worst toilet paper! Seems ridiculous for cost of staying at this hotel! The room average- old beach front hotel, very costly nightly charges And, the sofa- OMG - soiled, no cushion- when we sat had to use extra pillows to sit on it and cover it. The maintenance people nice even in elevators. We did eat at the Bristo oceanfront cafe twice, and, food very good and ambience nice. Hotel is right on ocean and easy access to restaurants and sightseeing. Just beware you will pay allot for sub standard room & lack of any services- even for oceanfront.

Gerade am Strand. Sehr schönes Poolbereich mit einem Kindespool an das Haupt verbunden. Wir hatten einen Regen und Wind für 2 Tage, so dass der Pool fällt und war ziemlich kalt, so gingen wir und schwimmen im Ozean statt zu schwimmen. Es gibt ein offenes Gras mit Picknicktisch, aber keine bbq, aber Sie können einen kleinen Hibachi zu benutzen. Unser Zimmer war klein, aber wir haben nichts benutzt, sondern nur nachts schlafen. Das Frühstück war gut, aber sie ändern nie die Auswahl. Wenn es beschäftigt ist, laufen sie aus den Omeletten und Sauce. Sie tun nicht viel, um die Fläche während des Frühstücks sauber und gelagert zu halten. Die Person, die es arbeitet, saubert auch Zimmer, so dass sie keinen speziellen Mitarbeiter haben, der nur Frühstück macht und der da scheint irritiert, dass sie da sind. Ich wurde im Allgemeinen von diesem Hotel beeindruckt. Die Zimmer wurden neu renoviert und sehr sauber. Wir hatten neue Bettwäsche und neue Handtücher im Bad. Ich würde sicher empfehlen, hier zu bleiben, wenn Sie auf einem Budget sind. Große Lage. Die Bedenken, die ich vorher erwähnt habe, sind geringfügig und sollten Sie nicht aufhalten, hier zu bleiben. Es gibt keinen Aufzug. Ich habe einige Außenschotten und einen schönen Sonnenaufgang, den ich am Strand am Hotel am letzten Morgen nahm.

The view is amazing!!! The food was good and the rooms are clean. But the staff….the friendliest I’ve ever experienced. Stone and Tami (restaurant) gave helpful tips on meals and even advising us to get a warmed coffee mug —that’s detail! A very special shout out to Christi and Amberlyn who fixed my messed up reservation and saved my 25th Anniversary. I can’t thank them enough for their patience. I will always remember their kindness.

Das Hotel hat uns wirklich positiv überrascht, denn es ist für ein Days Inn sehr gut ausgestattet. Zudem liegt es direkt am Meer und bietet einen eigenen Strandzugang. Generell ist die Lage des Hotels sehr gut, denn es liegt nicht direkt an der Hauptstraße und Restaurants und das Wright Brothers Memorial sind zu Fuß erreichbar (auch wenn man das in den USA eh selten macht). Unser Zimmer war wohl frisch renoviert und vieles der Einrichtung auch modernisiert. Es gab sogar einen Safe. Das Bad war offensichtlich komplett saniert und es hatte auch Tageslicht. Die Betten waren etwas weich, aber dennoch bequem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, unser Dank geht speziell an Jonathan, der sich bis zum späten Abend darum bemüht hat, dass der defekte WLAN-Zugang umgehend gefixt wird (Anmeldefenster erschien nicht bei Android-Handys). Am nächsten Morgen funktionierte das WLAN dann auch perfekt. Außerdem wurden wir mit reichlich Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants versorgt. Das Frühstück im Hotel war sehr reichlich und wurde sogar 30 Minuten vor dem Ende noch nachgefüllt.
