Die Zimmerausstattung sehr rustikal, kein Kleiderschrank, kein Safe im Zimmer. 😡 Aufpassen mit der City-Tax. Uns wurde diese zweimal abgeknüpft, einmal von Trip.com und einmal im Hotel. Ich musste mit der Rezeptionistin lange diskutieren, obwohl ich ihr ganz genau über meine Rechnung zeigen konnte, dass diese Steuer im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen war. Nach einer halben Stunde Diskussion wurde uns die doppelt kassierte City-Tax zurückerstattet.

Schickes Hotel und gute Lage. Sauberes und ruhiges Zimmer

Für eine erholsame Nachtruhe sollten Sie unbedingt woanders hingehen. Nachteile: 1: Harte, unbequeme Matratze 2: Die Schalldämmung ist mangelhaft – man hört jeden Atemzug, jedes Niesen und jedes Türknallen. 3: Es ist sehr kalt im Zimmer. Draußen waren es 1 °C, aber im Zimmer war es eiskalt. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, und es gab keine Heizung. Man konnte die Temperatur auf 24 °C einstellen, aber es änderte nichts. Es wurde nicht wärmer; es waren 17–19 °C im Zimmer, definitiv nicht wärmer. 4: Kein Wasserkocher. Ekelhafte, unbequeme Matratze. Sooooo hart. Ich wiege 82 kg. Es gibt hier absolut keine Schalldämmung. Es gibt keinen Wasserkocher im Zimmer, und es wird auch keiner bereitgestellt. Aber man kann sich unten in der Bar heißes Wasser holen. Das Internet funktionierte. ABER! Im Zimmer unten war eine Party im Gange, und man sagte der Rezeption, es sei noch früh am Abend, also sei es in Ordnung. Um 22:30 Uhr ging ich noch einmal nach unten, weil ich die Rezeption von meinem Zimmer aus nicht erreichen konnte, und man beruhigte mich. Die ganze Nacht wurde im Flur geschrien, von einem Zimmer ins nächste. Wenn jemand im Stockwerk darunter oder darüber eine Tür schließt, fühlt es sich an, als würde es direkt neben dem Bett passieren. Die Matratze ist wie in Standardhotels in China – jeder, der schon mal dort war, weiß, wovon ich spreche. Sie ist nicht beidseitig nutzbar. Man schläft wie auf einem Brett. Einem federnden Brett. Das war mein zweiter und letzter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Diesmal hatte ich wirklich Pech. Vor einer langen Reise war es mir wichtig, gut zu schlafen. Für eine erholsame Nachtruhe sollten Sie unbedingt woanders hingehen. Positiv: Alle an der Rezeption, bis auf eine Person, waren sehr nett. Vielen Dank. Alles Gute.

The location is excellent, with most scenic spots just a short walk away. The room was very clean, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable, giving me a truly relaxing stay. The hotel’s cozy design added a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the space feel even more inviting. Breakfast was also enjoyable — the donuts were especially delicious and became a highlight of my mornings.

Spacious and beautifully designed room, with an oddly cramped bathroom. Shower soap bottle was empty when we checked in which was super inconvenient. Lighting would be nice if it wasn't motion-controlled and constantly went on and off while sitting in the room.

I always stay in Moxy everytime I'm in Kaunas, great location and service

Location was excellent, room was o k, no wardrobe or drawers to store your cloths or belonging. I ordered a round of drinks in the bar, I had to pay for the drinks before I received them. After 10 minutes i had to ask the barmaid was she going to finish filling the order, to be told that the barrel was empty. I said I will wait until it is changed. To be greeted by the barmaid holding up her finger to show me a plaster on one of her fingers and asking me how was she going to change the barrel. There were 4 other staff behind the bar just standing there. Surely this is not the first time a barrel has runout during a shift.

Good location Good value Good vibe

My wife and i had a reasonable stay at Moxy Hotel in Kaunas city centre. However we did find the room to be a little warm through the night and the window could be opened but the roads were a little loud... so you need to pick, noise or temperature! The rooms we modern and spacious enought for a city break. It was so close to the places we wanted to visit and overall our stay was ok. Moxy is always good choice. Good bed, linen and shower. No thrills, perfect location if one has business in different parts of the city. I would love to have a bathrobe though, maybe even would buy one if it is the same quality as linen.

Another perfect stay at the Moxy Hotel. The staff go above and beyond, are friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from local shops, restaurant and the old town.

I am very disappointed with this hotel. The staff are very unprofessional and doesn't care about the customers. The hotel turn off the heating and cooling system 1st of April. its was so cold in the room . I couldn't sleep as its was too cold. I was giving extra blanket to cover up. I won't recommend this hotel. Its a shame to charge alot for a night without providing the basics need in an hotel. please don't stay there.

Fantastic Location, Great Stay – Just Watch the Parking Fees! I have stayed a few times in the recent years at Moxy Kaunas and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of Kaunas City, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel also has a fantastic late bar, which was a great spot to unwind after a long day of exploring. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, and the drinks were excellent. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. What really stood out was the excellent noise insulation – I couldn’t hear a sound from neighboring rooms or the hallway, which made for a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. The only downside was the additional cost for parking. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the many positives of the hotel. I’d definitely recommend Moxy Kaunas for its prime location, great amenities, and quiet rooms – just be prepared to budget a little extra for parking!

Nice central location and modern hotel. I would highly recommend. Front of house staff were helpful but beds are bit uncomfortable. Very good value for money.
