Holiday Inn Kansas City - Downtown

Close to downtown. New hotel and so all the amenities are new. It has a nice bar and restaurant too!

Beautiful lobby and room, convenient location close to Bartle Hall for our volleyball tournament. Was sharing a room with friends, so would have liked a bathroom door that shuts instead of a sliding door with a gap. Wonderful helpful, friendly staff.

The hotel was very nice and appeared really clean. My complaint is in regards to the overwhelming air freshener in the lobby. I am someone who uses candles and air fresheners without issue, but it was so overwhelming it was a bit nauseating. I could taste it everywhere and it gave me a headache. Otherwise, staff was great, place was clean. Rooms were comfortable.

Definitely a great experience. This was my first time visiting and it was in a convenient spot not far at all from T-Mobile Center. Awesome all around and I would come back and stay again.

Room and lobby areas are very updated and nice. We had the double king room which was perfect for our group.

Looks like recently updated. Very nice and great entry way. Very inviting and the rooms are very nice and clean. Very pleased.

I specifically booked a room that slept 6 (a suite). Upon checking in, we discovered that we had a standard room with two queen beds, clearly only able to sleep 4. I visited the front desk and was told that we were given a “Bridal Suite,” that was considered such because it had been recently updated. Mind you, this room didn’t even have all of the amenities listed as included in a standard room (I.e. refrigerator). After inquiring how we were expected to move forward and what our options were, we were told they were fully booked, had to move people around as it was and that there was nothing they could do. No offer to comp the difference in a suite/standard room, nothing. I asked about getting a rollaway bed and was told that was not an option. I’ve been messaging with ******* and the hotel is giving them the runaround and refusing to remedy the situation. I have stayed booked with Expedia/Holiday Inns for years and can confidently say that will be the last visit.

Far from everything but very nice and clean hotel. There is a restaurant inside which we did not try, but a plus. I dont know that I would walk around at night.
