Had booked this hotel on the basis of positive reviews and honestly was not let down. The hotel is just 500 meters from Kannur railway station. Check in was quick as I checked into their residency room. The room is quite spacious with all amenities and toiletries you may require just in case you forget. The restaurant in the hotel provides great food and the complimentary breakfast has a wide spread. check out their Kerala thali which is tasty as well pocket friendly. One suggestion is that the hotel management should put tata sky as most of the channels were Malayalam and since I come from Maharashtra would have appreciated the regional news to connect with my state. Also the buffet breakfast should start atleast at 7 am and it would be worthwhile to pack atleast some sandwich, fruits and juice for those who have to leave early. All in all a nice experience will come back again.

Kannur has always been close to my heart for multiple reasons... people, nature, proximity to everything and now good stay... Recently stayed at Royal Omars on station road for 5 days... the location, the quality of the room and the service was very good... it did not have to buzz of a rushed place... a pretty good breakfast... clean rooms... efficient service....

Vorsicht für dieses schatten Hotel!! Mein Gold und Geld wurden von Zimmer 311 gestohlen, während ich um Mitternacht im Zimmer schlief, auf 20/11/19. Ich habe eine FIR in Kannur Stadt Polizeistation gebucht. ISSUES: Dampf, geluft und unsichere Zimmer. Kameras in der Galerie NICHT arbeiten. Hohe Preise. AC nicht effizient. Schmutzlint & Handtücher. Telefon im Zimmer funktioniert nicht. Ersticken kleine Aufzüge. Was macht die Dinge WORSE – Rude & unsympathetic Hotelpersonal hat sich nicht einmal entschuldigt oder die Polizeistation mit uns besucht, um den Fall zu berichten (nachdem alle Raubüberfälle auf ihrem Grundstück stattgefunden haben). Tatsächlich war das arrogante, arrogante und nicht-zuverlässige Personal, das versucht, mich zu bedrohen. Eis auf dem Kuchen: Ich konfrontierte die MD, um die Themen zu diskutieren, er interessierte nur sein Geld. In der Tat versuchte er, 50% Rabatt auf den Aufenthalt zu bieten, wenn ich die Online-Bewertung entfernen (von Goibibo). Ich hätte bereits Vorauszahlung Rs.5000 & verloren Gold + Cash wert viel mehr als das, warum würde ich die Bewertung entfernen? Ich möchte, dass die ganze Welt weiß, dass dies der unsicherste Ort ist, um eine Nacht zu verbringen. Wenn ich diesen Ort vorher gesehen hätte, hätte ich nie diesen Fehler bei der Buchung dieses gemacht. Ich habe noch nie ein schlimmeres Hotel gesehen als dieses, das oft zu verschiedenen Orten reiste und in verschiedenen Hotels geblieben ist. Wenn es einen Preis für das schlimmste Hotel, Hände runter, sie werden es gewinnen!

Good for a business travel based on my two days stay there. The property is very close to the railway station and the main business area. Being at the middle of core business, a family trip expecting some luxurious stay may not find it interesting. The road leading to the hotel is a bit narrow. If one is driving, then should be experienced to navigate the rush. Once at hotel, parking is very good. Rooms near and clean, breakfast buffet is reasonable. The restaurant attached to hotel was not functional during my stay in Oct 2023.

Der Restaurantdienst von Herrn Gerald während der Tageszeit war ausgezeichnet, er versuchte, sein Bestes zu dienen als Bestellungen per Bequemlichkeit. Seine Service ist lobenswert. Sicherheit und Klingeln Typ waren auch sehr hilfreich und sehr polit. schwer zu sehen, so guter Service in diesen Tagen.

Wir hatten hier 3 Zimmer für 2 Nächte gebucht, eine sollte dreifache Unterkunft pro Website sein. Die Lage des Grundstücks ist wunderschön über die Worte hinaus. Die ästhetische Außenfläche des Grundstücks ist gut konzipiert. Alles außer den Zimmern war enttäuschend. Die Zimmer waren zu klein, überlastet, gebrochene Kupfer (ja mit einer Tür der Almirach fehlte). Die Sitzhöhe des Betts und der Matratze war zu hoch, man muss buchstäblich auf das Bett springen, entweder sitzen oder schlafen. Das Badezimmer war eine große Enttäuschung, der Kelch und die Dusche Clubbett zusammen in einer Ecke, kein Raum zu bewegen. Zu viel Raum zu sparen. Die Services waren gut, die Lebensmittelqualität war wirklich gut. Schöne Atmosphäre, in der gemeinsamen Porsche oder Kabana zu sitzen und das Meer und die Sonne oder Sonnenaufgang zu beobachten. Die Zimmer zu verbarrieren, war alles gut über diese Eigenschaft. Hoffentlich machen sie etwas über diese kleinen überlasteten Zimmer. Wir würden definitiv für die Lage und Aussicht und natürlich das Essen empfehlen.

While we were in the area, with a long wait for a bus, we visited the Magnet Hotel. The Reception staff were, without exception, helpful and charming, and stored our luggage for us while we ate dinner. The food in the restaurant was excellent quality and the waiters very professional and friendly. The hotel itself is very well maintained, and while we didn't stay overnight I would completely recommend the Magnet Hotel from what we saw and experienced.

First of all, this is one of those hotels where the owner and his family is fully invested and interested in making the stay of the guests comfortable. This property is a hotel which combines some features of a home stay and a resort without trying to become either. It is maintenance and service can beat the best or more expensive hotels. I can testify it as we arrived at this place on 15th of April which was Vishu, Good Friday and a Ramadan Friday, wherein most people prefer to stay home and as a result all the staff was on leave barring one cook. Other than us (3 families/rooms), there was only one more family staying at the hotel at that time. The property has 3 acres of farm which has many plantations and many of the vegetables are grown organically. We are vegetarians and yet all efforts were made to serve us high quality food of our choice. Rooms are of decent size, clean well maintained so are the bathrooms. The whole place has a nice appeal to it and well designed. This place is ideal for events as well with large lawn and many rooms. It is very close to Kannur airport. It is also an ideal stay option before venturing to visit Waynad or Coorg for holidays. We certainly intend to find another opportunity to visit Green Planet.

Short stay at la serene mattannur was beyond expectation. Courteous and helpful staff; compact but super clean room. Neat bathroom, all amenities needed for a short stay. Decent breakfast. Happily rate this property with top points. Highly recommended for families and official trip!
