Had booked this hotel on the basis of positive reviews and honestly was not let down. The hotel is just 500 meters from Kannur railway station. Check in was quick as I checked into their residency room. The room is quite spacious with all amenities and toiletries you may require just in case you forget. The restaurant in the hotel provides great food and the complimentary breakfast has a wide spread. check out their Kerala thali which is tasty as well pocket friendly. One suggestion is that the hotel management should put tata sky as most of the channels were Malayalam and since I come from Maharashtra would have appreciated the regional news to connect with my state. Also the buffet breakfast should start atleast at 7 am and it would be worthwhile to pack atleast some sandwich, fruits and juice for those who have to leave early. All in all a nice experience will come back again.

Vorsicht für dieses schatten Hotel!! Mein Gold und Geld wurden von Zimmer 311 gestohlen, während ich um Mitternacht im Zimmer schlief, auf 20/11/19. Ich habe eine FIR in Kannur Stadt Polizeistation gebucht. ISSUES: Dampf, geluft und unsichere Zimmer. Kameras in der Galerie NICHT arbeiten. Hohe Preise. AC nicht effizient. Schmutzlint & Handtücher. Telefon im Zimmer funktioniert nicht. Ersticken kleine Aufzüge. Was macht die Dinge WORSE – Rude & unsympathetic Hotelpersonal hat sich nicht einmal entschuldigt oder die Polizeistation mit uns besucht, um den Fall zu berichten (nachdem alle Raubüberfälle auf ihrem Grundstück stattgefunden haben). Tatsächlich war das arrogante, arrogante und nicht-zuverlässige Personal, das versucht, mich zu bedrohen. Eis auf dem Kuchen: Ich konfrontierte die MD, um die Themen zu diskutieren, er interessierte nur sein Geld. In der Tat versuchte er, 50% Rabatt auf den Aufenthalt zu bieten, wenn ich die Online-Bewertung entfernen (von Goibibo). Ich hätte bereits Vorauszahlung Rs.5000 & verloren Gold + Cash wert viel mehr als das, warum würde ich die Bewertung entfernen? Ich möchte, dass die ganze Welt weiß, dass dies der unsicherste Ort ist, um eine Nacht zu verbringen. Wenn ich diesen Ort vorher gesehen hätte, hätte ich nie diesen Fehler bei der Buchung dieses gemacht. Ich habe noch nie ein schlimmeres Hotel gesehen als dieses, das oft zu verschiedenen Orten reiste und in verschiedenen Hotels geblieben ist. Wenn es einen Preis für das schlimmste Hotel, Hände runter, sie werden es gewinnen!

We had a satisfactory stay at colyford inn, kannur. The property is easily accessible from railway station. The property is good for family. Roooms are spacious. Our room was ready and we were able to check-in without any delay even when we reached around 11. 10 pm in the property. Breakfast menu should be improved. They should add bread, butter, jam and fresh juice which will provide kids a better option. Currently only dosa, idli, tea and coffee was only available for breakfast. Overall had a nice experience with family. Will choose the property during our next visit too.

GGastnutzerThe property is well maintained and i perfect balance of nature and modern design. Our stay was amazing. The rooms were well kept and spacious. The sea view form the room is mesmerizing. The staff need a special metion here they are very welcoming and polite and ever helpful. Over all our stay was amazing and we enjoyed every moment of our stay here.

GGastnutzerThe location of the hotel is very good. It’s overlooking the sea. My sister and I had booked the suite for one night stay. The view was good but the corner room has a better view. We had called to get the best view room but they said at that time that we have got the best. There must be some miscommunication there or the room wasn’t available. Anyhow. We loved the room and the decor. It was huge and it’s decorated with care. The eating space is nice too. Food was good. And the seating area over looking the sea is amazing too. But I must say that the hospitality was not good. We had requested in advance to delay the checkout and let us checkout by 1:30 PM. But the message was not conveyed to the staff who was attending to us. We had to give reference to who we spoke to etc etc. I like hassle free travel experience and hence do all the talking before hand but to no use. When we reached the hotel, we realised that the Wi-Fi network in the room was bad. We had a meeting to attend to the next morning. So requested them to give us a space which would have good connection. The hotel staff was helpful and showed us an unused space near the reception. And said he would unlock it for our use. We check if it had a table, chair, and AC. Next morning, there was some confusion. The ***ager was there and he stared at the staff and talked rudely in their language with us standing infront of them. They opened the space anyways. But said that the ACs aren’t working. And there was no fan. I ran back to them saying please check again because it was steaming hot and attending an important meeting in a saree with sweat dripping from all over would be horrible. I went back with the remote and realised they knowingly didn’t switch the main switch on. Even after all this, they questioned me again on the checkout time. And asked when our meeting would get over. Even if the space was an unused space. I didn’t like this experience at all. It made all the good experience turn sour.
