I had a bad experience at new Kandy residence . I booked a deluxe double room and when I checked in there, they changed my room without asking me to the next property with a budget room with the same rate. It was very dirty and did not have any kind of facilities as promised or mentioned by their site and ***********. Tv was not working, did not have an electric kettle, and had dirty and stained linen in the dusty room and bathroom was not cleaned and used tissue also there. After I informed them of the difficulties, they canceled my booking from the *********** site on that day midnight while I was staying in the room. Morning I checked out and they charged me over payment not as mentioned by ***********. I need to pay LKR 4.210, but they have charged 20.79 USD as 230 LKR per 1 USD. (Total was 4,781.70). But the current USD rate is below 203 LKR. When I explained it they blamed me. Really disappointed with that place and your *********** as an hotelier.
